The Princess glanced at Kael and narrowed her eyes.
Kael instantly felt a shiver down his spine when he saw her face. He didn’t know why, but sothing inside him told him to clarify the misunderstanding as quickly as he could, and that is what he did.
"She is supposed to stay with while I work, not all the ti. She will help with work and answer any questions that I might have."

"Oh, so she is supposed to stay with you only while you work, huh..."
Lavinia repeated, only focusing on the important bits.

She questioned, the underlying aning behind her words couldn’t be clearer. But as if the Princess didn’t wish to give any breathing room to the girl at all, she stared at Alrisa and—

Alrisa’s mouth twitched. Lavinia’s words sounded nice, the tone, however, couldn’t be more poisonous.
Of course, this didn’t an Alrisa had any plans to accept her loss. She did not know what she was fighting for here, but her mind had already co up with a perfect answer.
She turned towards Kael and,
"Then Lord Kael,
I will see you tomorrow."
She passed a gentle, kind smile.
And before Kael could say anything, Lavinia grabbed his arm and pulled him close to her,
"Yes, we will see you tomorrow, Alrisa.
Now if you will excuse us. You see, Kael still has to train, he cannot spend all the ti thinking about things that happen at work, actually, those things are the least of his priority.

Lavinia smiled ’kindly’ as she pulled Kael away.
For a mont, Kael was taken aback. He saw how Lavinia was glaring at Alrisa, adding to how she hugged him and how she was pulling him away like this after shooing Alrisa away, a thought popped into his head.

The mont he thought about it, a big, wide grin appeared on his face. He allowed Lavinia to pull him away however she wanted.
Once the two of them were inside the house, Lavinia finally let him go and Kael’s grin widened even further.

He teased as he glanced at Lavinia playfully.
"As I said, I was waiting because we are in an unknown place. It could have been dangerous, it is better if we stay close."

Kael nodded, his smile widening, and sohow, this smile annoyed Lavinia.

Suddenly, Kael called out.
"You called this place dangerous, but weren’t you the one who chose it? You said it’s the most suitable place for us.
Your sentences aren’t adding up, Lavinia Dragonborn."
"The place being suitable for us doesn’t an we should let our guard down."
Lavinia answered as she walked away, not wanting to look at Kael’s face.

Kael nodded.

Lavinia added. She montarily turned towards him and with a solemn look on her face,
"Suspect everyone you see. Always think that they are out there to get you. Every move they make, look for their hidden intentions."

Kael nodded with a smile.

Lavinia nodded back, turning her face away in an instant.
"After the Magic Lectures, Aelindra gave weekly provisions, all the necessities we would need to survive, even the food.
She also taught how to cook it. I have made it according to her instructions, but it isn’t very delicious. Taste is the least of the people’s worries here.
But since it is what everyone here consus, we will be no exception.

The stuttering Lavinia was much cuter than he was expecting.

With Imperia being outside together with Kael, the Fox was truly unstoppable.
She could bully whoever she wanted without any worries.
It was truly the best~
