Han Li had investigated this—over the years, Derra had invested in nurous dical projects, with the most effort being devoted to the congenital heart disease charity program. Sula also discovered significant funding for similar charitable causes, though it had never been publicized, leaving the outside world unaware.

Based on this intelligence, Han Li deduced that Amos suffered from congenital heart disease. No matter how tightly Sula masked it, there would always be traces left behind.

"Seven years ago, eight-year-old Amos was rushed to the cardiology departnt at Siland’s Mary Hospital. The hospital issued critical condition notices several tis."

Yu Fusheng squinted slightly. "Reaching a critical condition like that—unless a heart transplant surgery was perford."

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have survived until now.

Han Li remarked, "With the i Fei Family’s wealth and resources, finding a compatible donor anywhere in the world shouldn’t be difficult. But the strange thing is, Mary Hospital has no records of Amos undergoing a heart transplant surgery."

The Amos they knew showed absolutely no signs of having a heart condition.

Soon after that incident, Amos began venturing into investnts. And it was peculiar—he seed to possess supernatural foresight. Whatever he bought would rise in value, and every industry and technology he invested in flourished across the board. That’s how he earned the title of investnt genius."

"Seven years ago?" Yu Fusheng seized on this point.

"Tianlu Bank also began its rise seven years ago."

Seven years ago, in Siland—Yu Fusheng’s instincts scread that this couldn’t be re coincidence.

Still, the connection between Amos and Sunny eluded him for now. However, he was certain sothing was amiss between them.

"Keep digging. I want to see what secrets lie between them."

——

Siland’s sky was perpetually azure, vast and boundless like the ocean.

A black sedan slowly drove into a private estate in the northern part of the city.

A man dressed in a steward’s uniform stood before a grand, luxurious castle. Upon seeing the approaching black sedan, the corners of his lips curled slightly.

The car stopped on the red carpet in front of the castle. The man stepped forward and opened the back door.

"I’ve been hoping you would co."

A young girl bent down and stepped out of the car, smiling warmly as she greeted the man. "Nar, long ti no see."

The man raised an eyebrow. "It hasn’t been that long—only five hundred and twenty-one days."

The girl carried a bouquet of flowers in her arms, her delicate beauty rivaling the blooms she held.

"If the young master knew you were here, he’d surely be ecstatic."

Shen You’an pushed open the room’s door.

It was a warmly furnished bedroom, with sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, dispersing across the wooden floor. The floating specks of dust resembled dancing fairies.

On the large bed lay a person attached to a respirator, which sustained his basic life functions.

Shen You’an approached slowly.

The figure on the bed gradually ca into view.

It was a young man with skin as pale as illness, the faint outlines of bluish-purple veins visible beneath his skin. His thin fra gave a frail image, as if carved from bone.

His golden hair shimred like the sun, long enough to cascade like clouds piled atop his pillow. The hair’s brilliance only heightened his pallor, creating an eerie, ethereal beauty—a gaze-provoking allure neither masculine nor feminine.

He lay quietly sleeping, a beam of sunlight mischievously dancing across his face, his thick eyelashes casting shadows akin to a pair of delicately crafted fans.

Shen You’an placed the bouquet into the vase on the bedside table, then sat on the edge of the bed, gently stroking those luminous strands of hair.

"Star, long ti no see."

The young man slept peacefully, resembling a breathtakingly beautiful painting.

If a third person were present, they’d be stunned to notice that the young man’s features bore an uncanny resemblance—around seventy to eighty percent—to the girl sitting beside the bed, gazing gently down at him.

The only disparity lay in their hair color.

They truly seed like twin siblings.

Shen You’an opened the bedside drawer, took out a nail clipper, and carefully began trimming the young man’s slightly overgrown nails, her movents tender and ticulous.

"I’ve been busy with school and didn’t manage to visit you this year. You won’t be upset with , will you?"

In the stillness, except for the gentle murmurs of the girl, only the crisp sound of scissors could be heard.

Outside the door, Nar sighed, stepped aside, and made a call. "Sir, Sunny has arrived."

"I’ve started high school and made many new friends. They’re all wonderful people. If they et you, I’m sure they’d like you too."

"Star..."

Shen You’an gazed at the young man’s peaceful sleeping face, recalling the day she first t him.

His eyes were like stars, which is why she nad him Star—even though his full na was Amos ffi.

Yes, the young man lying before her was none other than the i Fei Family’s young master, Amos ffi.

Everything traced back to seven years ago.

Shen You’an had made her first fortune through prophetic investing and determined that Siland was the perfect choice for Tianlu Bank’s headquarters, whether in terms of environnt, terrain, or policy.

Seven years ago, she arrived alone in Siland. To others, she may have seed like a lost little girl separated from her family. Yet, none could fathom the boundless passion and ambition burning within her chest.

She wandered Siland’s streets, envisioning ways to build her comrcial empire.

Rounding a corner, she collided with soone head-on.

Just as she steadied the other person, a group of black-clad pursuers ca rushing toward her.

"What’s going on?"

That person uttered a surprised "hmm," and before Shen You’an could see their face clearly, they had already grabbed her and began running.

Shen You’an suddenly found herself inexplicably chased through Siland’s streets by a horde of black-clad figures.

The pursuer was a child around her age, a boy whose golden hair flew wildly in the wind—far too beautiful to be real.

She pulled him into an alley, successfully eluding the black-clad pursuers.

Releasing his tightly gripping hand, Shen You’an turned to face the crouching boy.

"Those black-clad n must be your bodyguards, right? Little master, you’d best head ho and stop wandering the streets. Watch out for kidnappers." She teased him deliberately.

The figure on the ground looked up.

Shen You’an saw a pair of extraordinarily beautiful eyes. Even under broad daylight, they seed to sparkle with starlight.

There was a trace of grievance in those eyes—a little pitiful, too.

It reminded her of the neighbor’s golden retriever. So similar, it made her want to reach out and touch him.

In that mont, her heart softened.

Wait a minute—there was sothing about that face which felt strangely familiar, as if she had seen it sowhere before.
