A group of burly n surged forward, blocking the path of Rong Xianning and the other two.
Xiao Hu imdiately positioned himself in front of Rong Xianning and Shen You’an, his gaze alertly fixed on the man leading the group.
"Who are you people?"

"I texted and called you before, but you never responded. So, I had no choice but to co find you in person."

The man’s gaze turned vicious, revealing a nacing side.

Lv Qiang sneered. "What a stubborn kid. Refusing a toast but gobbling punishnt instead, huh? Well, boys—teach him a lesson."
A burly man stepped forward from the group, and with such a size difference, Rong Xianning’s thin, frail fra looked like a lamb standing before a ravenous wolf.
The man cracked his knuckles, producing a chilling sound that made one’s scalp tingle.

Just as the burly man’s fist was about to co crashing down on Rong Xianning’s head, a figure darted forward like lightning, grabbing the man’s wrist. With an effortless twist, a pig-slaughtering scream erupted.
A mont later, the burly man was sent flying with a single kick.
Xiao Hu dusted off his sleeves leisurely and said, "All of you, co together. We don’t have ti to waste."
Lv Qiang narrowed his eyes, studying Xiao Hu for a mont before shifting his gaze back to Rong Xianning. "Are you sure you want to go this far with ?"
Rong Xianning’s phone had been ringing nonstop. He pulled it out, glanced at it, and answered, holding it to his ear.
"Xiao Rong, have those people found you? Don’t pay them any attention. Tell Xiao Hu to get you out of there imdiately—I’ll handle the aftermath," ca Ding ng’s panicked voice over the line.
"Those people are desperate criminals. You’re in serious danger right now. You must stay away from them—do as I say," she said, her tone heavy with urgency by the end. She blad herself for not preparing a contingency plan earlier—now it was too late for any regrets.
