The lynx and the wolf tried to kill Ren the mont they stepped into the arena.
Like the previous magical creatures, their eyes were filled with fury.
Being locked up for a long ti had filled them with hatred and anger, so they had a strong desire to take his life.

Their heads were separated from their bodies and rolled on the ground for a few ters.

On the other side, Lucas and his lackeys looked at him with wide eyes and disbelief.
Killing two magical beasts at the sa rank was difficult for new awakeners like them, but he made it look so easy, as if they only needed to swing their weapons once.

The enmity between them was starting to make them feel uneasy.

"Yes." Ren would not stop, as his goal was to take first place and get special treatnt.

Alden then ordered the awakeners standing in front of the passage to take out three magical creatures.
A mont later, a lion, a tiger, and a hobgoblin stepped into the arena.
Like before, Ren could kill them without any problem.

It was three versus one, yet he could kill them quickly as if they were nothing more than ants beneath his feet.

Ravenna and her subordinates were amazed by his skills.

A troll, an ogre, a minotaur, a lizardman, and an orc advanced toward him at the sa ti.
Behind them, a two-ter-tall lion walked in while baring its sharp fangs. This lion was different from ordinary ones because a pair of massive wings spread from its back.
Winged Lion!
A special species among the lion race.
A predator capable of hunting both on the ground and in the sky.
The onlookers were stunned by the lineup of beasts since they could strike terror into anyone who stood before them, especially new awakeners like them.
"A troll, an ogre, a minotaur, a lizardman, an orc, and a winged lion. What’s with this lineup? Do they want to kill him?"

"Bro, you’ve already passed the test. What’s the point of doing this?"
"That’s right. Stop it now before it’s too late."
"That winged lion is extrely dangerous! I’ve heard that a single one of them can kill many awakeners at the sa rank on its own. You better reconsider your decision."
The kind-hearted participants suggested he change his mind once more.
In their eyes, facing them was not a wise choice.
They took the test to join the Pillar Organization. Now that he was guaranteed to be accepted and earn special treatnt, there was no point in endangering his life anymore.
After all, his goal had been achieved.
"Yes." Ren ignored their suggestion.
He knew many people would think he was stupid, but he didn’t care about it.
He needed to see his limits.
This way, he would know whether to run or not when he saw a group of magical creatures in the future.
"Then, I wish you good luck," Alden said.
The mont the handlers removed the chains from their legs and necks, the magical creatures dashed toward Ren.
The sound of tal clashing against tal imdiately filled the air.
The overseers gave their weapons back to them so they didn’t fight him empty-handed.
While Ren was facing the orc and the others, the winged lion didn’t move from its place. It only looked at the fight as ganging on the weak would hurt his pride as an apex predator.
"Hey, look! The winged lion didn’t attack him!"
"Maybe he is a weakling in its eyes!"
"I think so too."
"I had guessed this before."
Animal and magical beasts were two entirely different creatures.
Most of the ti, lions hunted in a group, but once they turned into magical beasts, there was a change of mindset.
Unless it was an extrely powerful enemy or they had no other choice, they would choose to face the enemy alone.
This was the reason why the winged lion didn’t move from its place.

The minotaur was sent into the air.
Before its body crashed against the arena wall, Ren threw one of his long daggers toward it.
The minotaur knew it was hard to avoid it in mid-air, so it decided to block the dagger with its hand.

The dagger pierced its huge palm.
The minotaur thought he was already safe, but Ren suddenly appeared beside him and launched another strike.

He slashed its neck before taking back his dagger.
Once he eliminated the minotaur, he rushed to the orc.
