Huo Ling’er’s residence was next to Chen Xuan’s, situated directly across from where Su Ying was staying.
A dark dot hovered in the sky above it for a brief mont before it flashed and landed at its entrance.
Chen Xuan pushed the gate open with one hand, while his other held Huo Ling’er tightly.
Though he was unfamiliar with the building, he quickly found his destination after conducting a quick sweep with his divine sense.
He placed Huo Ling’er on the bed and pressed his palm on her abdon.
His Spiritual Energy erupted.
Using his hand as a dium, it flowed into her injured body and began circulating through her ridians.
A green light flickered on her injuries, both the external and the hidden ones.
Her flesh began to granulate while the blood rapidly faded away and vanished.
Shortly after, Huo Ling’er’s injuries had recovered completely. There was no longer a trace of damage on her body, and her fluctuating aura returned to normal.
Despite this, she didn’t imdiately wake up but remained in a coma.
Chen Xuan did not panic.
He was quite accomplished in the field of healing and dicine and imdiately understood the cause.

It was as if she were having a bad nightmare and was screaming for help in her sleep.
He paused for a few seconds and took a deeper look at her.
"Indeed," he let out a sigh and gently brushed her arms away.
"Huo Ling’er has never left her parents before."
"No wonder she is so desperate to improve her strength. Besides a heart yearning for the Dao, I’m afraid that her lack of security is also a major factor," he realized.
Chen Xuan reached out and stroked her hair.
He parted the ssy bangs that were falling on her forehead and wiped the dust off her face.
It was only after he saw her furrowed eyebrows relax and a smile on her face that Chen Xuan extinguished the spirit-lamps and departed.

Back at his residence, Chen Xuan couldn’t help but sigh at the unexpected difficulties faced by a Master.
