The Undead's head was turned to a ss of flesh and bone fragnts by the rain of bullets. I stepped off it's corpse, I took my sword out of the undead's neck and walked out of the corridor, my clothes stained by blood, but that wasn't new. I activated [Aura Vision] and searched the entire floor and found that all of the thralls were dead. I sighed and went to find the stairs to the third floor. I noticed that this floor was filled with electronic stores and I wondered if there was anything that could be of use up here or anything I might need in the foreseeable future. Thinking about this I went into a store and searched around and found sothing incredibly useful, walkie-talkies. I took up ten walkie-talkies and stuffed them in my bag. I also took up so batteries for the walkie-talkies and continued to search for the stairs. I soon found it and ascended to the next floor.
The next floor just like the second floor was covered in dried up black blood stains and a few pieces of flesh every now and then. As usual I activated [Aura Vision] and found a few red auras around the floor but also blue auras huddled up in one place. I ran towards where the humans were hiding doing my best not to attract any undeads. I reached there hiding place in a few minutes and it turned out to be a kitchen's supply store. I entered the store, I walked around the store towards where the humans were hiding and…..
*Whooosh*
Suddenly a knife ca flying towards my head with frightening precision. I easily dodged by tilting my head to the side and the knife bounced off the wall before falling to the floor. I looked over and saw a man standing with a cleaver in his hand. Behind him were five more people shaking, obviously frightened by my presence.
"Don't co any closer, monster." The man said calmly but it was obvious he was scared as well, he just hid it well.
'Uh, not again.' I thought in annoyance
"Look I'm not a zombie okay." I said as I slowly advanced closer but the man threw another knife at my feet.
"Don't co any closer, monster." The man repeated but I ignored him and continued my advance.
"I already told you I'm not a monster." I said, starting to get even more annoyed. The man worked up his courage and ran towards holding the butcher knife. I sighed as he swung at before grabbing his wrist and kneed him in the stomach causing him to fall to the ground but I held him up by the wrist. I squeezed his wrist causing him to scream in pain and the cleaver fell to the ground.
"Do you still think I'm a monster?" I asked in a nacing voice and he quickly shook his head with fear deep in his eyes.
"Good, now follow ." I said while releasing his wrist, which now had a red hand print on it.
"All of you." I said turning towards the other five on the ground behind the counter, who shivered under my gaze and got up imdiately. I led them towards the stairs leading towards the second floor and told them to go to the east entrance of the mall where the bus was. I watched their silhouettes disappear down the stairs and then I went back to my main objective, killing undeads and leveling up. I ran towards the closest one and standing in the hall munching on corpses was an Undead. I drew my sword ready to slay it and it turned around staring at with it's red eyes. I ran towards it and swung my sword across it's stomach creating a large wound.
The creature swung it's claws at in retaliation but I jumped backwards and pulled out a gun. I ran towards it and pulled the trigger, firing three consecutive shots at it's head, and just as the others before it, it raised it arms and blocked the bullets. When the Undead put it's hands down again, it got a surprise as I started to shoot it in the face once again and this ti I landed five shots on it's head before it could even raise it hands, and the bullet holes in it's skull quickly healed as it's brain was not destroyed. I ran behind it and slashed the achilles tendons on both legs causing it to kneel as black mist worked to regenerate them. It placed it's hand behind it's head to block any bullets from reaching it's head but I had a different target. I swung my sword onto it's neck trying to sever it's spinal cord, and it's head remained attached to it's body by grey flesh alone as black mist worked to heal it. The Undead seed to grasp my intentions as it spun around, one hand pressing it's head down and the other holding my sword in an iron grip. I smirked as I released the grip on my sword and instead pulled out a second gun before unloading bullets into it's face, too fast for it to react which led to it's final demise.
