"Co on let's go." I said to the others, who were still staring at the sky in awe and amazent. Synthia had already disappeared, but they still stood there and stared at the sky like a bunch of idiots. I didn't even wait for them and simply started walking, and the others quickly snapped out of it and started walking as well.
"Wait, aren't you even a bit awed, she's an actual living Angel. You know, the Angels from the legends." Claire said as she chased after .
"Yeah, I'm so awed." I said plainly and Claire just looked at stunned.
"Wait a minute, did you by any chance know she was an Angel already?" Tim asked
"Yep." I replied
"Wait a minute, where did she go?" Kirt asked and indeed Synthia, only now seeming to realize that Synthia was nowhere to be seen and they were ant to follow her to safety.
"How are we supposed to follow her now?" Tim asked nervously
"Don't worry, just follow ." I said and activated [Aura Vision] and sure enough I saw a golden aura a distance away. We traveled for around an hour before we found ourselves in front of a large mansion. The mansion was surrounded by a high concrete wall and had a large, black iron gate. The mansion had a fountain in the middle and trimd hedges, I could sense a few humans inside, around fifty, and Synthia was standing at the gate with a proud look on her face.
"Welco to Sanctuary." Synthia said loudly still in her Angel form. I suppose that made it more impactful as the humans were awestruck, looking at the mansion with hopeful looks on their faces, and a few of them even started to cry. My face muscles twitched as I held back a look of disgust from appearing on my face as these idiots weeped tears of sorrow at finally being sowhere 'safe'.
'Weaklings.' I sneered in my mind
"So you're the leader of Sanctuary. I should have guessed." I said, turning my attention away from the humans and looking at Synthia. It didn't take a genius to figure it out as Angels and Demons seed to be the only ones capable of fighting undeads effectively as humans were basically useless in a fight. Other than her, there were only humans inside the mansion, at least I didn't sense any other Angels, but I had no idea if there were any ways to hide from my [Aura Vision] skill. The others rushed through the gate happy to finally find sowhere 'safe'. I shook my head before I calmly walked through the gate and…..

As soon as I walked through the gate, I felt a burning sensation on my skin and I could see black mist rising off my body. Fuck . I imdiately jumped back through the gate and the mist stopped rising off my body but there were burn marks on my body and they were healing slowly. Seeing the notifications, I imdiately activated [Aura Vision] and can see that the entire mansion was glowing bright gold. How the fuck did I miss that before? The others seed to notice sothing was wrong and turned around.
"Colin what's…..what the hell happened? Why is your skin burnt?!" Claire shouted and ran towards . Tim and Roxy also ran over but the others stayed where they were. At least now I knew who appreciated my help and who didn't.
"A Demon can't enter a [Holy Territory], sorry?" Synthia said with a playful smirk which pissed off.
"What?" Claire said confused.
"And you didn't tell this why?" I asked through gritted teeth, ignoring Claire's confusion.
"Must have slipped my mind. Don't worry he'll be fine?" Synthia said to Claire with a smile.
"But…" Claire said but Synthia cut her off.
"Colin do you have a minute, I need to talk to you in private." She said and started walking away from the mansion. I gritted my teeth, swallowed my pride and followed after her. What I needed the most right now was information and Synthia was currently the only one who could provide it.
