"So what are we gonna do first?" I asked, folding my arms, curious about what she needed from first and whether I would be able to enact my plan.
"I knew you'd see it my way." Synthia said in a cheerful voice and pulled out a map from behind her. Where was she even keeping that?
"Okay, so first of all we need to procure weapons so your first task is to go here and take whatever you can find there." Synthia said pointing at a circled building on the map. I looked at it curiously, and due to the fact that I was unfamiliar with this city and my experience with maps was limited to electronic ones that projected my current location in real ti, I had no idea what the encircled building was. But I could make so educated guesses based on contex.
"What is that? A police station?" I asked curiously
"Why would you think it's a police station?" Synthia asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You said you needed weapons and so I assud you ant guns since those are the only ones humans can use while not worrying about turning into an undeads." I explained, wondering why my question made her seem so puzzled.
"Well that's plausible but those don't really work on tier 3 creatures so I was thinking of making enchanted weapons but that will take ti and since the humans haven't started cultivating yet, they won't be able to create them. So having guns would be useful, I guess." Synthia said with her hand on her chin. That was very useful information, assuming it was actually true. If guns don't work on tier 3 creatures, which I was according to my race description, then I wouldn't need to worry about humans using them against . But it made wonder, was I completely invulnerable to guns or was it just less effective on ?
"Enchanted weapons?" I asked, intrigued by the word enchanted
"Oh those are the weapons used by both demons and angel although they differ from each other. They are basically weapons infused with holy or demonic energy to make them stronger." Synthia explained
"Oh, I have a trait that does sothing like that." I said
"[Demon Enchant] right, yes that allows you to cover your weapon in demonic energy but mundane weapons crumble into dust afterwards right?" She said
"Yes." I replied rembering how my sword crumbled into dust after I used [Demon Enchant] on it.
"Enchanted weapons are different. The energy is infused during the forging process so they don't crumble when you infuse energy into them. Oh and those that are infused with demonic energy are called Cursed weapons and those infused with holy weapons are called Holy weapons. A very important distinction that you need to rember." Synthia said, and I nodded
"I will. So then by any chance could you teach how to make a cursed weapon?" I asked, hopefully she'll say yes and teach to make an OP weapon. But, if she was smart, which I think she is, she wouldn't just help make sothing like that. And if she did, indeed know how to make an OP weapon, then she probably had more than a few in her arsenal, which ans I needed to be even more careful.
"Sure, so other ti." She replied with a small smile and I could sense her hesitance to teach how to make cursed weapons, but I was still excited. Just the idea was enough, now I just needed a reason to force her to teach how to make them.
"Now then, what's this place? A secret stash of holy weapons?" I asked curiously
"No. It's a blacksmith shop. And I need the raw materials and so of the blacksmith equipnt inside. I already have a forge area inside the mansion but I don't have any raw materials and I'm missing a few pieces of equipnt." Synthia said and I nodded my head. That made sense, if she was making weapons, she needed materials and equipnt, and if I was gonna make an arsenal of cursed weapons, so would I.
"Okay, I guess I can go tomorrow, it's pretty late right now." I said, looking up at the night sky.
"Yes, I guess so." Synthia said and then she circled a few other locations on the map with a marker.
'I wonder, does she really think I'll just run around and do her bidding for free.' I thought angrily as I looked at her face, which seed unconcerned as she scanned the map with the marker in hand, looking for anymore locations of interest no doubt.
"These are other locations of interest that you can check out. Oh yeah, you can also bring the guns as well if they could prove useful." Synthia said and then gave the map. She then took to the sky and started flying towards the mansion but not before saying.
"Goodnight, Colin." She said in a sincere tone that caught a bit off guard.
I sighed and then walked into one of the expensive looking houses inside the sa district as the mansion. I walked into the house and imdiately the scent of rot and decay hit my nose. I sighed for the umpteenth ti today and went corpse hunting and it didn't take long to find all of them. I gathered all of them in the large living room and conjured a ball of hellfire in my hand and set the corpses ablaze. They were soon reduced to ashes and the carpet on the floor wasn't even singed, thanks to my excellent control of hellfire. I went upstairs and fell onto one of the beds, not concerned in the slightest that I might have just incinerated the owner, and imdiately fell asleep.
