I managed to dodge most of the fire slashes but a lot of them impacted my body inflicting searing pain, but I gritted my teeth and endured. Thankfully the concentrated fireball wasn't dispelled and it was now ready to be fired. This fireball unlike the regular ones wasn't orange but a searing red colour. I fired the searing red orb towards Grox, and sensing the danger the fireball posed to him, tried to dodge.
I manipulated the fireball to fly after him while flying after him myself. Grox continued to dodge the fireball, jumping through buildings as I made the fireball follow him, using my [Aura Vision] as a guide. Grox jumped out of a two story building as the fireball burned through the wall to follow behind him and I flew above, watching him as he ran along the streets.
"What's wrong, Grox? Scared of a little fire." I mocked him like the little devil I was. Grox replied by turning around and sending a fire slash at and that gave the opportunity to hit him with the fireball. As the fireball hit Grox in the stomach, his fire slash sliced into my body, hitting across the torso in a diagonal line.

This fire slash was much more powerful than the previous ones and hurt a lot more than the previous ones as well, but I bet Grox was having it worse. The fireball struck Grox in the stomach and I could see a small red film surrounding Grox like a barrier and it kept the fireball at bay….. for a mont anyway. Even though I was hurt, I stretched out my hand and the fireball pushed against the barrier even more fiercely, causing red sparks to appear.
*Crack*
Soon the barrier around his stomach started to crack and a mont later, it gave way completely and the fireball impacted his flesh causing Grox to scream in pain and smoke to rise in the air.
*Snap*
*Booooom*
The fireball exploded causing the entire area to be blanketed by flas causing dust and debris to fly everywhere. The explosive force sent flying through the wall of a building behind . The flas washed over the entire building and I could feel the stones start heating up, almost lting, and I could feel the heat against my skin.
'Fuck.' I thought as I got out of the building that I was blasted into. I didn't anticipate that the explosion would be this powerful and so I wasn't able to get out of the blast radius, which sent flying into a building.
'That's strange, I didn't get a notification.' I thought. The force of the explosion caused to break through the wall of a building. So Grox who was in contact with the fireball when it exploded should be dead yet he didn't get any notification which could only an…
I spread my wings to take flight, but suddenly I felt a terrible pain in my right wing. Looking at the wing, half of it was hanging limply, broken and unusable. Not being able to fly, I had no choice but to find Grox on foot. Activating [Aura Vision], I soon found a faint red aura and quickly ran towards it. And soon, I found Grox or what was left of him anyway. The entirety of Grox's chest and abdon was burnt to ashes and even the blood in his body seed to have dried up from the intense heat, how he was still alive? I had no idea. Walking over to him, I could hear faint breathing, which was odd considering that he didn't have a chest, looking at his pitiful state I couldn't help but feel…..well pity. Then again I couldn't help but also feel admiration towards him because even though he was on death's door that fla in his eyes was still burning bright…..or maybe it was just because of his race.
"I will end your suffering now." I said and swung my claws at his neck, decapitating him.

Synthia POV
I have been fighting the three remaining Greater Imps while also making sure none of my four new priests died.
'All things considered, they were doing quite well at least none of them are seriously injured just yet and they have killed quite a few of the imps already. They are promising, I just hope they survive long enough to….' My train of thought was broken as one of the Greater Imps sent a fire slash at but I managed to dodge just in ti.
"You should concentrate on your opponents." Said the female one, as she suddenly appeared behind and swung down her long sword but I quickly spun around mid air and deflected her blade upwards but unfortunately the impact sent flying towards the ground. Not missing this opportunity the last of the three Great Imps fired a fire arrow at using his bow. The arrow struck in the shoulder but I quickly channelled my energy to my shoulder, destroying the arrow and preventing the demonic energy from hurting further.
*Booooom*
Suddenly a loud explosion sounded near by and the Greater Imps stopped their advance to look. I quickly used their distracted state to take to the skies once again.
"I need to finish this fight quickly." I said grimly while staring at the explosion. I don't know who cause the explosion or if any of those two are still alive but I needed to prepare for the worst which ans killing these three quickly.
'I have no choice.'
"[Wrath of the Heavens]." I muttered and then my body started to glow a fierce gold as Heavenly flas wrapped around my form in a tight embrace.
