"So you ca. At least we know you are not a coward even if you associate yourself with Angels." Said one of the red skinned humanoids with a sneer. He had a brutal looking face and he looked exactly like the imps except he was as tall as an adult human and he wore pants under his pelt skirt but no shirt. He also carried a battleaxe on his back that I was pretty sure was a cursed weapon. It was obvious that this Demon was not fond of my existence and I could say the feeling was mutual.
"And who might you be?" I asked politely while floating towards the ground, dropping Tim and Roxy who landed on their feet. I could feel the nervous energy rolling off them, and so could the imps as they made a sinister laughing sound while baring their fangs at them.
"I am Grox, a warrior of Bellicus, the House of Wrath." The Demon said and I could see Synthia's face beco serious. As soon as we reached the ground she drew her sword from it's scabbard.
"Do you know these guys?" I asked, not taking my eyes off the red Demon.
"I know of them. They are from the House of Wrath that is led by the Demon King, Azazel, one of the seven Demon Kings of the Underworld." Synthia replied while watching Grox and his entourage intently.
"So Grox of Bellicus, why did you decide to pay our fine city a visit?" I asked
"Isn't it obvious? We ca here to conquer this city in the na of our lord, Azazel." Grox replied with a sinister grin showing off his pearly whites.
"Tim, Roxy and you two will deal with the imps while Synthia and I will deal with the four big ones." I said, as I took a battle stance and the Demon's grin grew wider.
"But….." Kirt started but I quickly shut him down with a demonic glare which earned a laugh from Grox.
Both Synthia and I took to the sky and I created javelins made of hellfire and Synthia created many golden fireballs and we rained them down on our opponents. My javelins hit them first and I made them explode on contact but Grox easily blocked the javelins with his battleaxe and the explosions only caused him to skid a few inches backwards. As for the other three, they opted to dodge my attacks instead of blocking, which caused them to be sent flying by the impact but they had no burn marks. When Synthia's fireballs hit, I could see severe burn marks appear on their skin but those quickly healed.
"Not bad, you would have made a fine addition to the house of Bellicus but unfortunately, you die today." Grox said before lunging towards with the full might of a tier 3 and swung his battleaxe, but I blocked with my sword and the impact sent spiraling through the air. I managed to stabilize myself after flying a couple ters and I could see Grox standing their, giving an assessing look.
'[Demon's Pride], [Demon Enchant], Ignite.' Feeling the strength behind that blow, I knew this wasn't going to be an easy fight and so I decided to go all out from the beginning. My body was covered in a dark red aura and so was my blade before it ignited with dark orange hellfire.
"Good, you're taking this fight seriously, you are going need to if you don't want to die, haha." Grox laughed and I could see what looked fire and steam radiate from his body before he flew at with his battleaxe at the ready and I did the sa. This ti I wasn't thrown backwards but at the sa ti neither was he. I kicked him and he was sent flying into a building and I flew after him. As I flew towards him, I saw an arc of orange flas fly towards but easily dispelled it with a swing of my sword. Grox climbed out of the building with a fiery aura surrounding him but I could tell those flas weren't as strong as my hellfire, but they still posed danger.
I flew towards him with all my might and swung my sword at his head but he blocked it with his battleaxe and the force of the strike carried us through to the other end of the building. Grox shot a fiery breath at and I quickly jumped backwards with the help of my wings. I flew at him and we locked ourselves into a ferocious clash of red hot tal vs red hot tal, that is until I noticed sothing.
*Crack*
My blade was showing signs of breaking apart and I had no idea how long it could withstand this pressure. As we continued to clash the sword started showing more signs of cracking and I knew I had to do sothing. I jumped backwards once again and this ti I tried to make a super concentrated fireball but it would take ti and unfortunately Grox wouldn't give it to . Grox jumped into the air and swung his battleaxe at causing an arc of fire to appear but I blocked with my sword and was thrown through the air. The assault didn't stop there as Grox fired dozen of fire slashes towards forcing to dodge but so of them seed to follow wherever I go. Fortunately for I knew how to perform under pressure.
