During the Dark Ages Chapter 62 - 62 Imp’s Base

Alice POV

"I think this is close enough we don't know how close they are to the city. Alice activate your [Shadow Cloak] skill and let's begin the search." Colin said and he suddenly disappeared from my perception. I excitedly activated [Shadow Cloak] and flew into the forest not knowing, or caring, if Colin was flying behind . I flew around the forest with my [Aura Vision] skill activated and I saw many red auras around .

'This is going to be harder than I thought.' I continued flying around the forest ignoring the demonic beasts, I had killed a few of them and that's what the system called them, and continued my search. After around half an hour of searching, I found a large cluster of red auras and I knew I found them. As I flew closer, I saw a few smaller auras spread out around the place and decided to head towards them first. I went to the first one and I saw another one of those small, red demons called imps.

'Colin said I shouldn't fight but as long as I don't attract any attention it should be fine, right?' I thought before quickly making my decision and created a Shadow tentacle and wrapped it around the imp making sure to cover his mouth. The imp bit and scratched at the tentacle but it was no use.

I missed this, the notifications, the feeling of growing stronger and the blood. I have been stuck in the house during the imps attack because of the fucking sun. That made feel helpless….weak and I don't want to feel that way again…. ever. With an opportunity to get stronger like this one staring in the face I would be a fool not to take it. Licking my fangs, I flew towards the next imp and killed it the sa way I did the first one. As I was flying towards the the third imp I noticed sothing, large auras from the large cluster, what I presud to be the imp's base, was spreading into the forest and going towards the imps and one of them was even heading towards the location of the imp I just killed.

'These auras should be the Greater imps Colin told about. What should I do?' I decided to observe for now instead of attacking and returned back to where I killed the second imp. I stayed in a tree and waited for the greater imp to arrive. The greater imp arrived quickly and I looked her over since it was the first ti I saw one. The greater imp was a female since I could see her boobs protruding arrogantly from her chest. Other than that she had well toned muscles, not bulging, she had a few white tattoos on her skin, she had the red horns and tail of the smaller imps but much longer and her eyes irises were red with dancing flas and her sclera was black. Her clothes combined with her features made her look like a red skinned amazoness and honestly, she was really attractive.

I shook my head and focused my attention on what she brought with her. Beside her was a vicious looking dog, no wolf, with black fur and silver stripes here and there. The wolf had glowing red eyes and reached up to her thigh and it constantly snarling. This wolf was obviously a demonic beast.

"See if you can find any traces." The Greater imp said and the wolf sniffed the air a few tis. As the beast sniffed the air, and turned in my direction before snarling and without any hesitation, the Demon woman fired a fireball in my direction forcing to dodge but I was caught in the impact of the explosion.

'Shit.' I cursed as I have been found out and what's even worse was that the other greater imps were heading here as well.

"Oh you must be the vampire from that city." The greater imp said as she walked towards along with her wolf.

"Yes that would be . And who might you be?" I asked while sweating nervously as I could sense the Greater imps getting closer.

"My na is Anaka of the House of Wrath." The female greater imp replied

'They are getting closer.'

"Well it was nice to et you Anaka but I've gotta go." I said and flew into the sky.

"I won't let you leave. Chomps after her." Anaka shouted and the wolf, Chomps, chased after while fire gathered in Anaka's hands as she chased after as well.
