"But..." Grace Yowell still wanted to say sothing, but Daniel Harris said, "Grace, don’t make it difficult for ."
Grace bit her lip, finally forcing a smile, "Alright, I won’t disturb you tonight."
Daniel walked out of the Tavern, and the cold wind outside made him a bit more sober.
He knew he lost control tonight, that the slight drunkenness led him to act on impulse. Yet inexplicably, he didn’t regret this loss of control.
On his lips, it was as if the soft touch of her skin still lingered, making him feel an inexplicable attachnt.
Mabel Quinn, this woman left him at a loss, without a clue on how to proceed.
The driver was already waiting outside, and Daniel said to the driver, "Let’s go back to the Harris Estate."
"Yes." The driver respectfully opened the car door for Daniel.
Shortly after getting in the car, a phone rang from Daniel’s jacket. He was startled; it was Mabel’s phone ringing. The incoming call displayed a single character: "Kinston."
"Kinston"—it could only be Kyle Kinston!
Daniel pressed the answer button, and sure enough, Kyle’s voice ca through, "Mabel, is the wrap party still not over?"
Daniel’s eyes flickered, a cold smile suddenly tugging at the corner of his lips, "I’m sorry, but I’m not Mabel Quinn."
On the other end of the line, there was a silence, and after a while, Kyle’s voice ca, "Daniel Harris, why is Mabel’s phone with you, and where is she?"
"She accidentally left her phone with . As for her, you can go ask her yourself." Daniel replied.
"Alright, but I want Mabel’s phone back." Kyle stated.
Daniel gently lowered his gaze, "If you want her phone back, then co to the Harris Estate." With that, he ended the call and carefully examined the phone in his hand.
Her phone screen had no password set, allowing him to easily see everything within it. He’s not soone who typically likes to peer into others’ privacy. Yet, as he looked at her phone, he almost instinctively pressed the photos icon.
Then, one by one, the photos on her phone appeared before his eyes, including so selfies, landscapes she took, screenshots she found interesting, and... photos of Kyle Kinston.
In the photos, so of Kyle seed to be taken stealthily, while in others he looked directly at the cara. There were shots of him in a suit, so in casual wear, and even so holding toys, portraying a side completely different from the usual Kyle.
Or perhaps... this is a side Kyle only shows in front of Mabel Quinn?!
So, does Mabel, in front of Kyle, also reveal a side unseen by others? This thought suddenly pricked at his nerves.
Daniel exhaled deeply, continuing to scroll through the pictures, seeing snapshots of Mabel with Kyle, each photo intensifying the pain in his nerves as it went on.
Yet despite this, he kept on looking... much like a vicious cycle, knowing it only deepened the pain, but continuing the cycle regardless.

Mabel sat in the taxi, listening to the broadcast announcing an urgent missing person report for a 22-year-old, 162CM, 47KG woman of Z nationality, along with a basic appearance description. Mabel was startled as she listened—it sounded remarkably like herself.
