"There’s nothing that’s absolutely perfect. Besides, in the future, we can adopt orphans, treat them as our own children, and give them the love of parents that they lack. Isn’t that also wonderful?" As she spoke, she took his hand and said, "Kyle, being able to marry you and spend the years ahead with you is already enough for ."
He turned his hand, holding hers, and brought it to his lips, his lips softly brushing against her fingers. But who is truly satisfied here? It’s not that he can’t have children with her, it’s just that... is there really a need to continue the Kinston Family’s so-called cursed bloodline?
"Mabel, don’t bla ," he murmured softly.
Her voice ca through, "You, you’re overthinking. I’ve already said it, I’m very happy and content, so why would I bla you?"
He lifted his gaze, staring at the face before him, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips, "Okay."
But he knew very well that she didn’t actually understand what he truly ant by those words.

On the way Dorian Howards was sending Alice Conley back ho, Alice couldn’t help but say, "What did I say wrong during dinner before?" She still hadn’t figured it out.
"Which sentence?" Dorian asked.
"I said if Mabel and Mr. Kinston had a child, I’d be the godmother." Alice said.
Dorian glanced at Alice, "They haven’t even had a child yet, and you’re already so eager to be a godmother? If you really want that, why not have your own kid and be a biological mother instead."
Alice nearly choked on her own spit; Dorian always had a way to leave her speechless.
To be a biological mother, having a child with Dorian... Alice lowered her head, hiding a hint of dimness in her eyes.
At the entrance of Alice’s residential area, she said "Thanks," then got out of the car to head ho, not expecting Dorian to get out as well.
"Why did you get out?" Alice asked.
"To walk you ho, of course," Dorian said as if it were the most natural thing.
"You’ve already brought to my neighborhood entrance. I can walk in myself." She quickly replied.
But he didn’t pay attention to her words at all, simply saying, "Do you want to walk beside you to your house, or do you want to just carry you ho right now?"
A simple choice was placed in front of her, with no third option.
Alice glanced at her own physique and knew that if it ca down to a contest of strength with Dorian, she’d be the sure loser. So, after so struggling, she said, "You can only walk to my doorstep, not inside my ho."
"Alright." He agreed readily.
As they reached the community gate, the security uncle smiled warmly, saying, "Alice, your boyfriend is walking you back again, huh? A boyfriend as considerate as this is hard to find these days."
Alice’s mouth twitched, deciding not to say anything, because such matters often get worse the more you try to explain.
The walk from the neighborhood entrance to her building was filled with familiar uncles and aunties greeting her warmly, and of course, their focus was on praising her for finding such a good boyfriend. So even directly shouted, "Mr. Howards, you’re walking Alice back ho again, aren’t you?"
Alice felt exasperated. As soon as they entered the hallway, she turned to Dorian, "How many tis have you been to my neighborhood anyway? How do all these people know you?"
