Mabel Quinn suddenly hugged Kyle Kinston tightly, burying her face in his chest. "Kyle, I’m so happy that I fell in love with you!"
Yes, she fell in love with soone who treated her so well.
But co the evening, the boss started to settle old scores. "Do you really like Daniel Harris’s eyes?" The boss leaned lazily against the bed, his eyes swirling with a hint of pride and flirtation.
Mabel was drinking water and almost choked. "Wha... what? No way..."
"Really, no? Didn’t you say you liked his eyes when you were young?" he asked.
"..." Mabel hesitated, struggling between lying and being honest, and finally decided to remain silent.

In Mabel’s view, Kyle Kinston’s eyes and Daniel Harris’s eyes were completely different styles. However, for her, she naturally preferred his eyes and found them more beautiful.

He was finally satisfied and smiled, extending his hand to pull her onto the bed.

In the detention center, Grace Yowell was uneasy. She didn’t know what her fate would be. Earlier, when she left the court, a swarm of reporters surrounded her, and those flashlights made it impossible for her to escape.
Her once glamorous life seed like a thing of the past. Now, her face under those flashlights appeared no better than a clown.
Her recent ups and downs were nothing more than a roller-coaster drama to many.
Why, why was she ant to have such a fate? Clearly, she didn’t plant that bomb, and the explosion incident had nothing to do with her! Yet, she was implicated.
She only wanted to get rid of Mabel Quinn.
Suddenly, the door to her cell was pushed open, and a correctional officer called, "Grace Yowell, soone wants to see you. Let’s go."
Grace was taken aback. Who would want to see her at a ti like this?
But when she asked the officer, he wouldn’t reveal a single word. And when she entered the eting room, she saw a familiar figure.
It was Daniel Harris!
Grace rushed over excitedly. "Daniel, I knew it. You wouldn’t abandon . You still care about , can’t bear to leave , right?"
Daniel looked coldly at the person in front of him. "Do you think at this point, I would still have any feelings for you?"
"I know I’ve done many wrong things in the past. I fraudulently used Mabel Quinn’s identity because of my greed. But over these years, my feelings for you were genuine. I really loved you and was afraid Mabel would take you away, so I did so many wrong things," Grace desperately explained.
But Daniel remained unmoved. "I ca to see you today just to clarify, when you arranged to et Mabel Quinn that day, was it really just to return her badge?"
Grace’s eyes flickered for a mont before she said, "Of... of course."
"That badge—you wouldn’t easily return it to her if you stole it from her in the first place." Having been with Grace for ten years, Daniel knew her character sowhat.
"I did tell Mabel I returned her badge, hoping she’d put in a good word for to Kyle Kinston, hoping he’d spare ," Grace stamred nervously.
"Since you were in cahoots with Josh Harris at the ti, were you really thinking of bowing down to Mabel Quinn? When I reached for the badge, you cried out not to touch it. Was there sothing on that badge that made you so tense?" Daniel pressed further.
Grace’s shout of "don’t touch" at the ti had made him increasingly suspicious. That’s why he ca to see Grace, wanting to get to the bottom of it.
"No, there was nothing on that badge!" Grace hurriedly denied.
