But he was like a beast that had lost its mind, unable to listen to anything she said.
They had clearly broken up, she had told herself to forget everything from before, not to think about it anymore. She and he, were actually two people who had nothing to do with each other anymore.
"No!" She didn’t know where the strength ca from, but she suddenly pushed him away, wanting to rush into the bathroom on the side first. But she hadn’t even taken two steps when her ankle tightened, five fingers had already gripped her ankle firmly, causing her to stagger and fall to the ground.
Mabel Quinn instinctively wanted to kick away the hand grabbing her ankle, but just as she was about to kick, her movent suddenly stopped.
His painful howl ca again, piercing her heart with pain!
He was in pain, and even though they had broken up, she still ached for him.
"Don’t go... Please... Don’t leave ..." His voice was so shattered...
Her eyes instantly beca moist, she sat dazedly on the ground, stunned, for a mont forgetting to make any reaction. And at this mont, the moonlight outside the window was slowly shifting, gradually shining on her ankle, as well as on the figure still crawling on the ground, moving towards her.
At that mont, a gasp nearly escaped her throat.
His handso face was twisted in agony, those beautiful phoenix eyes were so blood-red under the moonlight.
As if, at this mont, his body was nothing but a shell, an irrational shell.
Mabel Quinn’s heart suddenly twisted with pain. Why was he in so much pain? Didn’t he say his illness was nothing? Didn’t he say he already had the dicine?
And even though she had broken up with him, why did seeing him like this make her feel so uncomfortable?
He crawled over, got close to her, pinned her down hard again, his breath, along with her kisses, were all enveloped in this moonlight...
And she slowly closed her eyes, enduring his intense and mad embrace.
She didn’t know what to do to ease his pain, but she was willing to hold him tightly, because it seed that every ti she held him tighter, his pain would lessen slightly...

Dorian Howards could not help but glance once more at the moonlight above as he left Kinston Mansion. The Lantern Festival was supposed to be such a beautiful festival, but for the Kinston Family, it bore only pain.
Earlier, he had pushed Mabel through the door and then closed it. Initially, Kyle’s howls could be heard coming from inside, but gradually the sound grew quieter until he could hear nothing at all.
Indeed, the only one who could soothe this pain was a lifeline, but Kyle insisted on keeping his lifeline outside the door.
If Kyle and Mabel continued like this, he could do this this ti, but what about next ti? And the ti after that? How would this issue be resolved?
Dorian rubbed his temples, feeling like his head was about to explode from all this thinking. While driving, he had unknowingly arrived at the entrance of Alice Conley’s neighborhood.
In the midst of such a troubled mind, the person he wanted to see was her.
