Indigo Quigley felt she must seize the opportunity. Especially now that Dorian Howards was angry with another woman, it was the perfect mont for her to show her tenderness and soothe his anger.
Alice Conley watched as Indigo Quigley got into Dorian Howards’s car, and as the car drove away, a pain hit her chest. It was supposed to be a happy day for her, after all, the biggest issue between them was no longer there. She thought she could be happily together with him, she thought that even if he was angry, he would still forgive her for the hurt she had caused him.
However, she was too naive. She had hurt him too much, too harshly, leaving no room for herself, so much that he treated her this way.
She had nothing to bla him for; it was all her own doing.
Lowering her head, her tear-filled eyes looked at her still-flat stomach, murmuring softly, "Baby, don’t be afraid, Mommy will tell Daddy about your existence, Mommy will definitely clear up all the misunderstandings with him. Daddy is just too angry with Mommy now, it’s going to be okay, it’s definitely going to be okay."
She kept using these words to comfort herself, and also to give herself courage.
anwhile, in the car, Indigo Quigley was still feeling grateful for getting so close to Dorian Howards so smoothly. She was thinking about which topic to start with to comfort him when suddenly, the car abruptly stopped by the roadside.
Dorian Howards’s voice ca out coldly, "Get out of the car!"
Indigo Quigley was taken aback, then smiled coyly and said, "Director Howards, why get angry over Alice Conley’s matters? If it were , I would never say things that make you uncomfortable, and I would definitely cherish your feelings more..."
"Get out. Don’t make say it a third ti!" Dorian Howards shouted sternly, his previously gentle face now locked in an expression of furious anger.
Indigo Quigley was terrified and still wanted to say sothing, but felt her throat had gone extrely dry.
And when Dorian Howards’s gaze swept over again, Indigo Quigley almost scrambled out of the car in a terrified rush. As soon as she got out, the car imdiately sped away.
The speed was so fast that it left Indigo Quigley collapsing on the ground.
So this was Dorian Howards? The last ti she was at the Studio, she only saw the gentle side Dorian Howards showed to Alice Conley, and his terrifying side was so frightening!

Alice Conley returned ho, her parents noted her pale face and asked what was wrong. She simply smiled and said it was nothing, maybe just a bit tired.
"By the way, you went to the Hospital today for a check-up, how were the results?" Mrs. Conley asked.
"Everything’s fine." Alice Conley replied, "No problems."
"That’s good, you’ve had little appetite lately and haven’t been eating much, I was worried there might be sothing wrong with your stomach. By the way, didn’t the doctor suggest a gastroscopy or sothing?" Mrs. Conley asked.
"No, no need for a gastroscopy, my stomach is fine. Mom, Dad, I’m going to my room now!" With that, she hurried to her room, closed the door, and finally exhaled wearily.
So tired, especially when facing her parents’ concerned eyes, yet unable to say anything.
With the pregnancy, and things being the way they were with Dorian now, telling her parents first would only make things more chaotic. It would be better to talk to Dorian first, then tell them together.
