Fragnts of broken mories in her mind made her sowhat recall what had happened. Fortunately, there was no one in the room at this mont, which allowed her to burn so embarrassnt, considering her own clothes were clearly unwearable.
She bit her lip and walked to the wardrobe in the room, opened the door, and looked at the n’s clothes inside. She silently added a note in her heart; she was just borrowing these clothes, and once she returned to her place, she would dry clean the borrowed clothes.
After adding that note, she picked the simplest white shirt to put on first. His shirt, it was like a dress on her. Mabel Quinn folded the sleeves several tis and then picked a pair of his pants to wear. Suddenly, the bathroom door opened, and Kyle Kinston ca out of the bathroom.
Mabel Quinn was dumbfounded, oh heavens, he was still here!
And even more awkward was that at this mont, she was wearing his shirt.
"You’re awake?" He walked over and said, his eyes holding a hint of astonishnt.
She stood there in his clothes, the sunlight falling on her, creating an indescribable beauty, as if this woman belonged to him, wholly and completely.
"Um. Well... I borrowed your clothes... just to wear for a bit. Once I return, I’ll wash them and return them to you!" She quickly declared.
"My clothes, you can wear as much as you want, no need to return them—I just take them and have fun wearing them." He said.
Because he was standing too close, she moved her feet, intending to create so distance between them. But as soon as she moved, she stumbled, and his hand quickly wrapped around her waist, supporting her body.
"Be careful." He said as he lifted her horizontally and placed her sitting back on the nearby sofa.
Her face imdiately turned red, so she shifted the topic and asked, "Yesterday... what exactly happened? Why do I have no mory?"
His eyelashes trembled slightly, concealing the glint in his eyes. "Yesterday, the room we entered had been tampered with. Perhaps the target wasn’t supposed to be us, we just inadvertently walked into it." After all, his attendance at the party was unexpected, and her taking him to the room was unplanned as well.
This was sothing that person probably couldn’t have anticipated.
He even considered if he hadn’t gone there yesterday, would she and soone else have accidentally entered that room, leading to uncontrollable circumstances?
If that were the case, what kind of harm would it have caused her!
So he definitely wouldn’t let that person off the hook, regardless of who they are!
Hearing this, Mabel Quinn’s emotions fluctuated, recalling the scenes in the lounge last night, she was startled, breaking out in a cold sweat,
"Don’t worry." Kyle Kinston said, briefly narrating to her about her mory blackout, and then glanced at her wearing his pants, the pant legs dragging on the floor. "Do you need a belt? My pants, the waist might be too large for you."
"Yes." She replied, blushing, the waist was indeed too large.
He quickly handed her a belt; thankfully, the innermost hole of the belt was close to her waist size, managing to narrowly hold the pants up.
Just when she was silently celebrating, she saw him, who had been standing in front of her, suddenly crouch down, kneeling next to her.
She panicked, wanting to retreat, but his hand grasped her ankle lowly saying, "Don’t move."
That ’don’t move’ made her freeze like wood, standing there dazed.
His long fingers rolled up her pant legs, carefully folding them. After folding one pant leg, he turned to the other.
Mabel Quinn lowered her head, staring blankly at the man in front of her, a complex emotion surged up. This man would crouch and kneel for her, doing such an ordinary yet shocking act.
It seed like his heart was fully occupied with her, as though he could give up everything for her.
Yet back then, she thought they wouldn’t ever part, she thought they would grow old together, but he uttered the words "break up" so easily.
And should she be with him again?
When he finished folding both pant legs, the pants which looked sowhat shabby suddenly beca quite presentable.
He slightly lifted his chin, eting her gaze, "What’s wrong? Looking at like that?"
"Kyle Kinston, let’s... start over." The words flowed naturally out of her mouth. After speaking them, she felt a sudden sense of relief, as if a big stone had been lifted from her heart.
His body stiffened abruptly, his expression turning from disbelief to ecstatic joy, finally becoming cautious, "Really? Not kidding with ?" Because he couldn’t bear such jokes.
"Yes, I’ve thought it through, let’s start over." She smiled lightly, at this mont she was clear with her own heart, she still loved him, and since she loved him, then let’s give each other another chance.
Because... she didn’t wish to beco strangers with this man in the future, she wanted to walk through the remainder of life with him.
He slowly stood up, the pitch-black phoenix eyes, at this mont seed to be filled with so many emotions. Suddenly, he pulled her into his embrace, "This ti, we won’t be apart again, definitely won’t!"
This was the promise he made, only for her!
