"Sir, are you alright?" A passing waiter saw him and quickly approached to ask.
"I’m fine," Dorian waved his hand, "just a bit of stomach discomfort, resting for a while will be okay."
"Are you sure you’re okay?" The waiter was still sowhat concerned, given that Dorian Howards’ appearance at the mont was far from good.
"It’s alright, I’ll buy so stomach dicine myself later," Dorian said, "or, could you help by bringing a cup of warm water?"
"Sure, I’ll go get it," the waiter said and then walked away.
Dorian leaned against the wall, closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to ease. Suddenly, he felt as if he sensed sothing, realizing there was a gaze upon him.
He suddenly opened his eyes, turned around and looked up, only to see Alice Conley standing not far away, looking at him.
"Alice," he managed a weak smile and said to her, "Why are you here? Do you also need to use the restroom?"
"What’s going on with you?" Alice asked directly.
"Nothing," he replied, feigning relaxation, "Do I look like sothing’s wrong?"
"You do," she said confidently, "Dorian, do you know how terrible your face looks right now?"
At this mont, the waiter who went to get warm water also ca over and said, "Sir, the warm water you asked for."
"Give it to ," Alice said, taking the cup, then walked up to Dorian Howards and said, "Let’s go back to the seat and rest for a while." As she spoke, she supported him with her other empty hand.
He nodded and followed her back to the seat. She handed him the cup, letting him take a few sips of warm water.
"How do you feel now?" she asked.
"A bit better," he smiled, not wanting her to worry because of him.
Alice said, "Was it too spicy? If you can’t handle it, why force yourself to eat with ? Ugh, I wish I hadn’t ordered so much spicy food." She said regretfully.
"It’s not your fault, I overestimated my own ability," he said, "Besides, you did let order so non-spicy food, I just didn’t."
"With how you are now, do you want to go to the hospital to have it checked?" she said, still a bit worried.
"No need, I already feel much better," he said.
She looked at his face, which was indeed much better than before, and then said, "Why don’t you sit for a while longer, and I’ll ask the shop assistant for a glass of milk?" She rembered seeing milk on the nu.
