"Thank you," said Dorian Howards.
Compared to Daxton’s carefree attitude and so childishness, Jacob Fletcher was indeed more mature and steady.
"Thank you," Dorian said, "But you two really surprised ." After all, this was sothing he hadn’t anticipated before.
"But you seed to accept it rather quickly. We were initially worried you might not be able to accept our situation," Jacob said.
"There’s nothing unacceptable about it," Dorian responded, "It’s just that the person you fell in love with happens to be of the sa gender. If Alice were a man, I think I’d still love her just the sa."
Alice Conley was taken aback, surprised that Dorian would say sothing like that. Daxton and Jacob were also surprised, and... grateful.
Grateful for the understanding, given that many people had looked at their relationship with strange eyes. To them, others’ lack of understanding had almost beco normal.
Moreover, from his expression and eyes, it didn’t seem like a lie.
"As expected of the husband Alice chose!" Daxton said. Although he had so grudges against Dorian before, after realizing how much Dorian loved Alice, those grudges naturally disappeared.

Dorian looked at the two and then said, "Alright."
When Dorian drove off with Alice, Daxton turned to his boyfriend and said, "By the way, during the al, when Dorian Howards offered to help us, why didn’t you let speak?"
"You were probably going to say we don’t need help or sothing," Jacob said.
"Yeah, our situation is not sothing ordinary people can help with," Daxton replied.
"What if he’s not an ordinary person?" Jacob asked.
"What do you an?" Daxton was puzzled.
"You really don’t keep up with financial news, do you? Or even gossip," Jacob chuckled. "Dorian Howards is the CEO of Howards Group. Not long ago, there was gossip news about him announcing at a film press conference that he was marrying Alice."
Daxton’s eyes widened in surprise. He had been on a business trip abroad recently and hadn’t paid much attention to dostic news. Besides, he wasn’t interested in finance, so he didn’t pay attention to that. However, just because he wasn’t interested didn’t an he didn’t know what Howards Group was.
