"He’s the CEO of Howards Group?" Daxton exclaid in disbelief.
"Yep, the surna Howards isn’t sothing you co across often. I was surprised too; Alice’s fiancé turns out to be such a big shot."
Daxton was speechless; this sounded simply unbelievable.
"So, maybe in the future... he can really help us sohow." Jacob Fletcher sighed, his voice sowhat heavy, "Of course, it would be best if we can overco challenges together without his help."
Daxton reached out and tightly gripped Jacob Fletcher’s hand; they would definitely be together, they definitely would!

Alice Conley dozed off in the car, and when she woke up, she found herself already in her bed, while Dorian Howards was sitting at her desk, flipping through her photo album.
"Awake?" he asked, closing the album and walking over to her.
"I... uh, how long was I asleep?" She blinked, still in a half-awake state.
"About two and a half hours," he replied, "Want to go wash your face?"
She nodded and then reached out her arms like she was asking for a hug.
He chuckled, his eyes full of affection for her, and carried her to the bathroom, then wet a towel with warm water, wringing it out.
She cooperatively tilted her chin up, making it easier for him to wipe her face.
Thus, the dignified CEO Howards carefully wiped Miss Conley’s face, then tidied her ssy hair before carrying her back to the bedroom.
After washing her face, Alice was a bit more awake and excitedly asked Dorian Howards, "So, see, no misunderstandings now, right? I told you, we’re just friends."
Speaking of this, Dorian’s face darkened, "You have the nerve to say that. Do you know how awkward I was back then?"
"Anyway, you won’t feel awkward after a while," she said, seeming to have high hopes for his emotional resilience.
He was speechless for a mont, and, sowhat annoyed, flicked her forehead with his finger, "Do you think it’s fun to watch get jealous?"
Ouch! She clutched the spot where he flicked her, complaining pitifully, "What’s fun about that? You don’t know how anxious I get every ti you’re jealous. I want to explain, but it’s hard to."
"..." Well, it seems everything was his fault, "Does it hurt?" He noticed she kept holding her forehead, even scrunching up her nose.
"Yeah," she grumbled.
He frowned, feeling he hadn’t used much force, so he pulled her hand away and gently rubbed the spot he’d flicked, "Alright, a rub will make it better."
"Don’t flick anymore!" she muttered.
"Okay."
"And stop getting jealous over nothing," she added.
"Okay."
He realized that every ti they faced off, he was always the one to surrender.
"By the way, if I were a guy, would you really love ?" Alice suddenly asked.
Dorian Howards, while continuing to massage her forehead like a doting parent, replied with an "mm." He loved her for who she was, regardless of being male or female.
"Then... if I were a guy, you’d be willing to be the ’uke’?" She suddenly looked at him with sparkling eyes, harboring so expectation.
"Uke?" He frowned slightly, not imdiately grasping the term’s aning.
So, she began explaining certain "knowledge" to him...
Kyle Kinston was only on a business trip for a few days, yet Mabel Quinn felt that ti had suddenly dragged on forever. Even though he called her, she still missed him terribly.
The microfilm shooting was bustling with activity, and ever since Kyle brought her supper on set, no one had bothered her since, not even Evelyn Foster.
