Now, all he thinks about is ensuring the safety of his wife and daughter. As for him, the debt he’s incurred will eventually need to be repaid one day. Even if he has to repay it with his life, this life he’s led for the past thirty years was essentially borrowed.
Kyle Kinston looked down at Adrian Conley, showing no emotion on his face.
"Let them go? Haha... Adrian, what qualifies you to negotiate with now?" he asked with a cold laugh.
"Alice... Alice is Mabel’s good friend. For Mabel’s sake, let Alice and her mother go. As for , I’ll accompany your parents in death if needed!" Adrian pleaded urgently.
Upon hearing Mabel Quinn’s na, a hint of hesitation flickered across Kyle’s face.
Adrian grasped at this lifeline desperately, continuing, "If Mabel knew about this, she certainly wouldn’t want you to transfer your anger from the past incident to her friend."
"Are you threatening my mom?" Kyle asked coldly, glancing at his counterpart.
"No, no threat. Just begging, considering Alice and Mabel’s close relationship, Alice is pregnant now and is about to marry Dorian Howards. For Mabel’s sake, please," Adrian said, continuously bowing his head.
To him at this mont, no dignity was worth more than the safety of his wife and daughter.
After a long pause, Kyle left, and Adrian collapsed onto the ground. His forehead had already been bruised with blood seeping through, while his palms and back were drenched in cold sweat.
As Kyle left, his final words were, "Fine, I can spare your wife and daughter, but I want you to leave them for good, never to see them again, alone for the rest of your life until you die!"
This was his punishnt!
However, this punishnt was actually much kinder than he had anticipated.
After all, his selfishness back then had cost two lives. With a sigh, Adrian shakily stood up.

That night, when Mabel Quinn returned to the Kinston residence, she received a call from Kyle Kinston, "Sorry, tonight, you’ll have to dine alone. I might co back later."
"Okay." She replied, but sensed sothing suppressed and heavy in his voice, "Kyle, what’s wrong?" she couldn’t help but ask.
"Nothing, I’m fine." he said, putting away his phone, yet he instructed the driver to continue driving through the city roads, leaning back in his seat with a slight fatigue as he closed his eyes.
If not for Mabel, based on his past deanor, the Conley family would likely have been buried with him.
He was never a rciful person. If soone owed him one thing, he’d demand repaynt tenfold, even if it ant personally killing Adrian Conley; he wouldn’t feel an ounce of compassion.
But this ti, he only sentenced Adrian to a lifeti of loneliness.
Father and mother... their deaths, ultimately, resulted in fulfilling soone else, while they themselves harbored grievances for a person who hadn’t actually died.
Finally, feeling it was enough, he instructed the driver, "Head back to the Kinston residence."
The driver then drove the car towards the Kinston residence. As he entered, he saw a figure on the living room sofa, leafing through a book. The light fell on her, serene and gentle.
