Endless Evolution: Last Star Chapter 1675 1675: Many Volunteers

At first, Adam was at a loss. He didn't know what he needed to do to find the Frenzied Shard, but when the first servant appeared, it was no longer a mystery.

He and Sarka needed to find all the servants. This would lead them straight to the Frenzied Shard they served.

Everything was going according to plan.

The second servant looked far stronger than the first one. This was evident not only in the size of the predatory flower but also in its aura and minions.

Still, neither Adam nor Sarka had any doubts that they would easily gain the upper hand and defeat the second servant. At worst, they would get a few scratches, and that's it.

But… what they didn't expect was a massive teorite that appeared out of nowhere. It wasn't just a piece of so structure or a random monster that looked similar, it was a real teorite, engulfed in flas, and its target was Adam, Sarka, the second servant, and everything near the golden clock.

Adam and Sarka exchanged glances. They were supposed to attack the second servant. Its veins were already within their reach, but their plans changed abruptly.

At the last mont, Adam and Sarka leaped aside, moving as far away from the teorite as possible.

After a few leaps, they found themselves on toppled columns, watching the events unfold from the sidelines.

RRRGGGGGGGSSSSSHHOOOO!!!

The second servant let out a piercing scream as the living roots began to burn. The small minions could do nothing against the brutal heat. Even before the teorite hit the ground, it would burn to a handful of ashes.

Realizing this was inevitable, the second servant opened its bud, directing the red and amber lights upward.

A dense barrier ford a split second before the collision with the teorite.

Adam's pupils narrowed as he watched the bright flash.

Tremble! Tremble! Tremble!

The shockwave from the devastating blast swept through the area, destroying everything near the golden clock.

For a while, amid the thick smoke, only a red fla was visible, slowly spreading farther and farther across the Pit.

Adam's eyes darted from side to side, taking in the destruction.

Everything had been damaged except for the golden clock. It stood like an indestructible monolith not far from the teorite's impact site, seemingly awaiting sothing greater than this.

"Damn, so among all the junk here, there are also special things, right?"

However, that wasn't what he should have been thinking about at that mont.

Neither he nor Sarka knew what had caused the teorite. It couldn't have just fallen from the sky right when their battle was about to begin.

Soon, two shadows appeared from above as a deep, satisfied laugh rang out.

"Hahahahahahah! Sarka, look at your face! Seeing you so scared is the ultimate pleasure!"

In a heartbeat, Adam and Sarka raised their heads.

"What the…?" Adam stamred, seeing two floating silhouettes - a man and a girl.

The man was tall, not as tall as Larth, but his height was still quite impressive. For so reason, this was a common trait among many of the monsters here.

He had shoulder-length black hair, a proud gaze, and a long white robe draped over his fra.

Standing beside him was a girl with crimson hair and a sly smirk like a child who had just pulled a prank and was pleased with herself. Like the man, she wore a white robe, though it was significantly shorter and more revealing, better suited for battle than for anything formal.

But there was sothing that caught Adam's eye.

Unlike Sarka or Larth, on their robes, on their chests, was a sign of the circle, the upper half of which was black and the lower half empty. It reminded him of the signs worn by the governnt officials who had helped him descend to the Lower Ring, but clearly, there was no connection between them.

'It's just a coincidence, but… considering what this symbol looks like, could it an that-?'

"Loargh!" Sarka shouted as she clenched her fists. "And you… Vyora! What the hell are you doing here?"

Adam glanced at Sarka.

'Oh, so they know each other? They don't seem like friends, but that doesn't an they're enemies either, right?'

"Well, well, we, just like you, decided to head to the Pit to find another Frenzied Shard."

Vyora smirked, looking down her nose at Sarka. It seed her goal was to piss Sarka off as much as possible.

"Yes. It's the most effective way to show you which one of us is better!" Vyora waved her hand mockingly.

Sarka clenched her teeth tightly, her anger slowly rising, but soon Loargh and Vyora noticed soone else.

"Agh…?" Vyora blinked several tis, staring intently at Adam. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Loargh raised his eyebrow as well.

Sure, before attacking the second servant, they had seen Adam and Sarka from a distance, but they hadn't had ti for a thorough analysis.

They assud that Sarka, as one of the Fangs, was helping another monster find a Frenzied Shard to obtain the Hollow Mark.

In the end, it all ca down to the monster wanting to beco stronger, neither Sarka nor anyone else could help with the Frenzied Shard's energy, but sotis finding the Frenzied Shard was the hardest part.

The Pit was a dangerous place, and the Frenzied Shards used every thod at their disposal to protect themselves through their servants.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Vyora exclaid, flustered. "Loargh, do you see that? It's… It's a Phantom!"

Loargh rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"How curious. I haven't heard of a Phantom appearing in our lands. Moreover…" His gaze lingered on Adam for a long ti. "Who would have thought it would be him?"

Adam was confused as Vyora ran her fingers through her hair, staring at him like a fan at a celebrity.

"Holy shit! You're right! I just realized that now!"

Vyora exclaid.

"It's fucking Adam Vinter!"

Strangely enough, Adam himself was the most surprised of all.

Why didn't Sarka and the others know about him, but Vyora and Loargh reacted just like a random K1-Phantom when they t him?
