Vyora and Loargh arrived on the battlefield after summoning a fiery teorite. The impact caused a devastating explosion, so Adam assud the second servant was dead.
He was distracted by a conversation with their two new partners, who would very soon beco their rivals for the right to possess the Frenzied Shard.
This ti proved sufficient for the second servant to heal its wounds enough to continue the fight.
"Damn it!" Vyora cursed, staring intently at the enormous, predatory flower. "I attacked with full force! Surely that's enough to burn so pathetic flower?"
Adam blinked with a slight nod.
'So that was her teorite? Hmm, I thought it was Loargh's work. So Vyora, like Sarka, has fire as her main power, but the properties differ? What about you, then, Loargh?'
"Well, after all, this is the second servant. In fact, that's actually pretty good news for us," Loargh said calmly.
"Hmm?" Adam was confused. "Why?"
Loargh waved his hand.
"The stronger the servant, the stronger the Frenzied Shard. I don't know about you, Adam Vinter, but none of us three would have any trouble absorbing a Frenzied Shard. We've already done it once, which is how we got our Hollow Marks."
'Right.'
Adam narrowed his eyes, his gaze sweeping over their bodies.
"Are you the sa as Sarka? Are you both the Fangs?"
Loargh smirked.
"Of course we are. We once defeated all the servants and reached a Frenzied Shard without our Hollow Marks, so now we'll do it easier than ever!"
RRRRRHHHHSSSSOOOO!!!
The second servant's piercing shriek rang out, drawing their attention. Only a few specks remained of Vyora's fla, quickly fading, while the living roots, one by one, rose from the ground at their leader's command.
"That's enough. Let's get the job done first, then we'll talk."
At the sa mont, a white light flashed across Loargh's body as he transford into a bright white flash.
At trendous speed, he headed straight for the second servant, ignoring the living roots. He left those weak but nurous monsters for soone else.
"Hey, will you help ?" Vyora turned to Sarka. She hovered in the sa spot, while the crimson fla covered her hands.
"Pfffft!" Sarka snorted haughtily. "I could handle them on my own, but if you're asking to, so be it, I'll show you how it's done!"
Before Vyora could answer, the blue fla burst from Sarka's feet as she lunged forward. Thanks to her raw power, it would be no trouble for her to smash the living roots to pieces.
Her fla didn't allow her to burn everything in her path like Vyora did, but it was a manifestation of her power, and the brighter her fla burned, the stronger she beca.
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The air trembled as several runes rose above Vyora.
Click.
She snapped her finger as one of the runes flared. At the sa mont, the ground among the living roots began to heat up.
Grh?
The living roots exchanged glances. They were rely minions, so they lacked high intelligence and acted mostly on instinct.
Thus, as soon as they sensed that sothing was wrong, they imdiately scattered in an attempt to save their lives, but it was already too late.
The massive pillar of fla burst from the ground, incinerating the five nearest living roots and severely wounding those nearby.
"Tsk. I could have taken two more!" Vyora bit her lip. As a mber of the Do Eclipse, she strove for perfection.
Unlike Sarka and the other monsters from the blade pillars, who honed their skills in the heat of battle, she practiced extensively at her pillar. When the mont to fight arrived, she expected nothing less than a perfect execution, and nothing else.
The only one who hadn't yet joined the battle was Adam. He looked at his needle and then at the second servant. Loargh was fighting alone.
Whooosh! Whoooosh! Whoooosh!
In a white flash, he struck the giant flower again and again, shattering its veins and wounding its massive body. However, despite Loargh's speed, the second servant managed to regenerate.
Adam could join the fight or wait until Vyora and Sarka were done with the living roots. Once they helped Loargh, it would be all over for the second servant.
'Hmm, so much has happened lately that I completely forgot to check this.'
Tap.
Adam released his needle as it shattered into fragnts. The Silver Weaver inside his inner space raised an eyebrow. He hadn't yet figured out what Adam intended to do.
Step. Step. Step.
Adam took a few steps to the side so that the second servant was right in front of him.
'Maybe we're so far apart that I can't even reach you. It annoys to the core, but we still share the sa power, don't we?'
Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The space in front of Adam trembled as the massive fra of the glass scissors materialized above him.
Normally, Silvana would have appeared beside him in her spectral form, and the scissors wouldn't have been this large, but since they first used this ability, much had changed.
When Silvana decided to alter the Imaginary Cut, she not only created a new version of the ability but also enhanced the previous one. After all, Adam and Silvana now possessed significantly more power than before.
Click.
The imaginary scissors sprang into motion, as evidenced by a sharp click.
Sarka, Vyora, and Loargh simultaneously turned their heads toward Adam.
With no hesitation in his gaze, Adam swung his arm, glancing at Loargh one last ti. He knew that a glance would be enough for Loargh to get out of the attack zone.
Loargh gulped and abruptly changed his trajectory.
Then, the invisible blade carrying the purple hue swept across the battlefield. For a split second, he saw his reflection in the blade. The speed shocked even him.
Without resistance, the blade sliced through dozens of vines with which the giant flower had tried to protect itself, and soon the blade swept through the great monster that faithfully served the Frenzied Shard.
In a heartbeat, the imaginary blade slashed through the second servant.
Now, they would not let it recover again.
