The mont I descended from the sky, a wave of magical attacks ca flying at . Using my wings to rotate my body, I dodged every one of them.

-[Eruption]-

Imdiately the ground sank inward before shooting outward, spitting out molten lava.

The massive orc jumped out of the way just in ti, landing ungracefully on his stomach, but before he could even get the chance to stand up, the ground around him began to sink once again.

Panic filled his eyes as he scrambled to get up, but for so reason, before he could, his body began to sink as if he was sinking in quicksand!

As a result, the ground spat magma once again and rained back down on the orc.

A loud, pained grown ripped through the battlefield as the orc was covered in magma. Thw hot liquid milked half his face and a large portion of its back.

At the sa ti, the princess’s eyes slowly opened to witness the wailing orc as the beast was covered in searing hot magma.

The princess’s eyes opened before her gaze shifted to as I skillfully moved through an onslaught of attacks.

I soared over the gate and sprayed the attacking soldiers with acid. Their faces and skin lted off as they were drenched in the strange green liquid.

In the panic and chaos, the mages fell from the wall, ending their suffering. At the sa ti I weilded my earth magic and used it to destroy their massive wall. Large cracks began forming on the massive wall covering the city until the structure crumpled to dust killing all the soldiers who were once on it.

"NO!!" The demon floating in the air roared.

His eyes were burning with rage as several large masses of purple flas surrounded him.

Since he was using heretic magic which attacks the soul directly, I had to make sure I wasn’t hit.

As he prepared his attack, I prepared mine. Bolts of fire once again surged around my body, and the core inside my body began releasing mana chaotically.

This ti it felt as if I was being split apart from the inside as blood began to drip from my exoskeleton.

I tried my best to will the chaotic magic under my control, but it was like containing a bomb by lying on top of it.

But in the end, the magic exploded out of with no control.

[Firebolt!]

A blinding golden light engulfed the entire surroundings, and a sound akin to an explosion could be heard.

The firebolt shot forward at trendous speed, ripping through the air as easily as tearing through paper.

The attack was just too fast, and the demon had no ti to react. He didn’t even have ti to put up a forcefield to protect himself.

This was the end. It seed. But in the next second, the firebolt disappeared through a crack in the air that suddenly appeared in front of the attack.

’What the hell?!’

I was left stumped.

Where did the attack go?

Worse, is that that single attack drained most of my mana.

The demon’s face turned pale as he clutched his chest before his face shrunk further as he moved from frightened to enraged.

He released the flaming masses of energy. The light from then was so bright that the entire battlefield was dyed in purple.

And worryingly, his spells seed to get faster and more powerful after every attack.

The soldiers below us watched in awe as I weaved through each of the attacks, but they were soon thrust into a battle of their own as the gate guarding the city opened, allowing an army consisting of both demons and orcs to pour out.

Seeing this, the soldiers quickly regained their composure and readied themselves for battle.

As I tried to evade the magical attack from the demon, one of its powerful spells suddenly slamd into my exoskeleton.

Pain spread through my entire body. It felt as if his magic burned into my exoskeleton and was attacking from the inside.

It was as if my strength was being drained, but I fought through it and created a stinger at my rear.

Imdiately, the demon created a magic forcefield in front of him to protect himself.

Firing another firebolt spell was too risky, so I decided to spray him with acid, but the liquid was violently repelled from the forcefield.

Still, I readied my stinger and used my wings to propel through the air towards the demon.

The demon stood his ground even as my stinger was just inches away from his forcefield, but just then, a bright golden light erupted above us before a powerful firebolt ripped through the air from above and struck the demon in the back.

The demon’s forcefield dropped instantly from the sudden attack, allowing the stinger to slip through and pierce deep into his unguarded stomach.

The demon’s eyes widened as his lips trembled.

"How?"

That single question slipped from the demon’s mouth as he fell gracelessly to the ground.

Even I was confused, and my mind was racing to find an explanation as to where the firebolt ca from.

The most likely explanation was that it was the sa firebolt that disappeared.

But where did it go when it disappeared?

Chaos magic bends the laws of reality and magic, so I need to think outside these laws.

Could the attack maybe have traveled through ti?

That was one likely explanation. When I fire the firebolt, the chaos magic caused it to travel through space and ti to the future where it hit its target.

It was as if the magic bent reality to achieve the desired outco.

On its own the firebolt couldn’t have killed the demon but it opened up the chance for to deliver the finishing blow.

Man, this was a good investnt.

Damn, if only I could control it better, then the possibilities would be endless!

The mont the demon fell, the princess climbed to her feet and rushed to him with her sword in her hand.

At the sa ti, I turned my attention to the army of orcs and demons.

Flying over their heads, I sprayed a large amount of venom which lted through their armor and skin like butter before I used my earth control skill which summoned large spikes from the ground which pierced through their vitals, killing them instantly.

With them taken care of, I turned my attention to the giant orc that was fighting to escape the quicksand, but the more he fought, the faster he sank.

I landed in front of the struggling orc. His brows furrowed.

"Just wait until I get out of this, you insect!"

"Where is Blood?"

His eyes widened.

"You can talk?!"

He quickly caught on as he ca to a shocking realization.

"You’re a player."

"Where is Blood?" I repeated the question once again.

"What makes you think I’d tell you!"

Suddenly, as he spoke, the quicksand around him began to boil as it turned into magma.

The orc flailed his hands frantically as he tried to escape.

"Alright, alright, I’ll tell you."

"I have truth magic. If you lie, I’ll burn you alive and find another that will help ."

"Alright, alright, he should be at our guild’s headquarters. It’s in Asmura, downtown. We own the building next to the statue built for the rank 1 player. See, I told you now, let go!"

"Wait, wait, AHHH!"

As he fought and struggled, the magma swallowed him whole and lted his body until nothing was left.

After today, I don’t intend on leaving a single mber of this guild alive.

Having the address I needed, I turned the ground below into magma and swam deep underneath before logging out.

In an instant, I was back on earth. I quickly saw several notifications.

Most of them were missed calls from Alfred. The ssage stated that Blood agreed to my proposal and that he was ready to et.

Another ssage stated the ti and place. The location lined up with the place the orc told .

The other ssage was from Amanda.

’My father is convinced that he knows where Alia is. I’m doing everything I can to stall him, but I don’t know how long I can stall him. I don’t know exactly what is going on, but do whatever you have to, to protect my sister!’

This ssage was sent just a few minutes ago.

’So her father is apart of this too.’

Without hesitation, I stord out of the house. Apparently, the Wild Hogs headquarters was roughly a 1-hour walk away from where I live.

It was almost dawn as the sun would soon rise. The streets were mainly empty as I raced through the different neighborhoods.

With my physical stats increased, it only took about 15 minutes before I arrived at the building.

The entrance was unguarded, leaving it inconspicuous, but I could sense people moving on the inside.

Undoubtedly, these people were players.

"Alia is here," I could sense her.

Controlling my magic, I ford an obsidian exoskeleton over my face and my fist.

Without hesitation, I then reached out and opened the door to the building.
