POV: Third Person

While Kyo was taking care of his mother, in a Shonen Jump office, Kenji Moriyama was at his computer when he suddenly ca across a photo of soone he knew very well.

"Aoi Haruki?"

However, the na shown there wasn't the author's pen na, but his real na.

"An actor? I knew he worked as a model, but an actor too?"

Kenji read the entire article in disbelief.

"He's taking part in a miniseries written by Hiroshi Kanto!?" He jumped out of his chair, unable to believe it. Aoi Haruki—the popular novel author who now also works with him as a manga artist—is also an actor!

On top of that, he's working on a series that will surely be a success.

What a headache. Won't this get in his way?

Kenji quickly sent a ssage to Kyo. He received a reply almost imdiately.

[It's fine. It won't get in my way.]

Kenji thought,

'What is he? A robot? How can he do so many things at once with such confidence? And he's only 13 years old!'

Kenji felt uneasy about the future.

Robert Evans, Kyo's father, was in his office when suddenly the coworker in the next cubicle nudged his arm. "Hey, hey, isn't this your son?" Robert looked at his coworker's computer screen.

There was an article about "A Piece of My Heart," the series his son was filming.

Robert smiled and said, "He really is amazing, isn't he?"

"Amazing? Your son is more than amazing! I have no idea how he's so talented—and you're such an idiot."

"You might be right, but where do you think he got those blue eyes from?"

"Tsk! I hate the fact that you're so handso."

"Don't say things like that—I'm not interested in n," Robert said.

"Gross." His friend imdiately stopped talking to him. Soon after, other people gathered and started talking to Robert about Kyo, congratulating him on having such an incredible son.

Robert even felt a bit embarrassed.

'Kyo really is amazing,' he thought as he ate his lunch.

He couldn't believe he had a son like Kyo. He thanked God every day for giving him such a gift.

While news about the series announcent was spreading all over the internet, a woman was preparing to release a news that had the potential to overshadow all the others—the true identity of the author Aoi Haruki.

Noriko Maeda had a grotesque smile on her face, showing her yellowed teeth.

Despite having investigated Kyo, she had no idea he was part of the series "A Piece of My Heart," which only made her more excited.

That would serve as fuel to make the news spread even further.

Without thinking twice, she published the article both on the "Tokyo Star Press" website and on the newspaper's Twitter account.

Right after posting it, soone opened the door behind her.

"Noriko? May I ask what you were doing?"

It was her superior. She was basically the one who controlled everything that would be published or not. Of course, Noriko had posted that article without her knowledge. And why did she do it?

Because she knew her superior would never allow it.

She had seen her superior talking to soone from Amuse Inc. They were trying to protect Kyo Evans.

She imdiately closed her laptop and replied, "Nothing, I was just checking the current news. Did you see that a new popular series was announced?"

"Ah, of course. There's a boy who seems very promising. Did you see the interview director Hayashida gave? He praised him a lot. I'm curious to watch it."

"You an the actor Kyo Evans?"

"Yes, him. Are you interested in him too?"

"Yes, of course." Noriko smiled. "I'm heading out now. See you later."

"Have a good day." Her superior smiled back at her.

Her superior would definitely find out about it in less than five minutes, so Noriko wanted to leave as quickly as possible. She already knew she would lose her job, but she had another one lined up.

She had already talked to a smaller company before doing this.

As soon as she left the building, her friend was waiting for her in a car outside.

"Did you do it?" her friend asked.

Noriko, breaking into a cold sweat, said, "Yes, I did." She smiled.

As the car drove through the streets of Tokyo, she picked up her phone to check the reaction. Within minutes, the nas "Kyo Evans" and "Aoi Haruki" were trending topics in Japan.

Not just in Japan, but in other countries as well.

Normally, posts by "Tokyo Star Press" on Twitter don't get more than two thousand likes, but that article had over twenty thousand likes within minutes.

A bomb had been dropped on Kyo's quiet life.

Everyone now knew he was the author Aoi Haruki.

Along with the information, there were photos of him eting with one of the executives from CloverWorks, the studio producing the Overlord ani. There were also photos of his father together with Kuroda, the editor of Overlord.

There was too much information for it to be a fabricated story. Plenty of evidence had been laid out for everyone to see.

Many people wondered if the author might actually be Kyo's father—but then why would Kyo accompany him to a eting with the studio?

On top of that, there was an audio recording. It was faint, but the volu had been enhanced through editing.

Kyo could be heard openly talking about the contract and his works.

In an office at Amuse Inc., Rikuya, who was already aware of what was happening, had just made a call to soone at Tokyo Star Press.

The article was taken down shortly afterward, but the damage had already been done.

Kyo, who was sitting beside his mother, received several ssages—especially from Kuroda.

He found out what had happened right then and there. His expression changed imdiately.

"Did sothing happen?" his mother asked.

"No, nothing. Everything's fine."

Kyo remained calm, smiling at his mother.
