Rudy reached ho and looked at the front door.
'Mom isn't back yet…'
Instead of teleporting or playing, he had walked his way ho from the tower. What Erika told him occupied his mind, and he couldn't think of anything else.
'I should make a list of things I want to do and do it right. It's no point getting lost all over it and not progressing on anything.'
Rudy took a bath and crashed onto the couch in the living room.
'What the hell is going on with my life? I just want to have a normal life, but I get dragged around. My life was going well. I graduated and got a job offer. All I had to do was tread carefully while crossing that street.'

Rudy's life was filled with regrets, but life didn't give him choices.

While Rudy was lost in his thoughts, he heard the sound of a car stopping in front of his house. He activated his supervision and saw that Rebecca had returned, and it was Yelena who had dropped her off.
Rudy imdiately gathered all the tissues he had violated and rushed to the washroom to get rid of them.
When Rebecca entered the house, he made it look like he had just finished his thing in the washroom.
"Hey, mom." He greeted her as he hung the hand tower behind the door.
"Hmm…"
Rudy raised his brow but didn't think anything of Rebecca's lack of reaction. He simply assud that she was tired.
"I will be in my room," he said with a smile on his face. "Call if you need anything."
After saying that, Rudy left for his room, but imdiately teleported into the forest to train his powers.
He returned a few hours later at around noon, expecting to have lunch ready, but much to his surprise, the kitchen and the living room were empty.
Rudy peeked through the door of Rebecca's room and saw her sleeping.
'Is she okay?' he wondered.
Suddenly, Rudy had a brilliant idea and decided to make lunch. Although it wasn't a new thing for Rudy to cook lunch and dinner, it was going to be the first ti in a while.
Honestly, who wouldn't love to have their favorite lunch as soon as they woke up?
Rudy spent the next hour making Rebecca's favorite lunch and went as far as to decorate them aesthetically.
Once he had set up the table, he went to wake Rebecca up. He shook her gently and waited until she opened her eyes.
Rebecca sat up while rubbing her eyes and glanced around before looking at Rudy with a confused look on her face.
"What's the ti?" she asked.
"It's afternoon." He replied with a smile on his face. "Get up and wash your face. I have made your favorite dish for lunch."
"Oh… thank you for that…" she said in an unexcited tone and left the room.
"..." Rudy quietly waited for Rebecca to return, thinking highly of himself. He wanted to make Rebecca good and do sothing for her to make her feel happy.
When Rudy heard the bathroom washroom door being open, he excitedly looked in the direction, but his excitent was short-lived when he saw Rebecca struggling to even walk properly.
"Mom?" He called her out and got up from the chair.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. I am…" Before Rebecca could finish what she was saying, she passed out and fell to the ground.
However, Rudy caught her before she hit the ground and carried her into his arms.
"Mom!" Rudy imdiately dashed out of the house and flew his way to the hospital in the next city with Rebecca still in his arms.
He didn't care if anyone saw him. Nothing mattered to him.
'Her body is flaming hot! Since when did she have a fever?'
Rudy reached the hospital and admitted Rebecca. His mind was occupied by various thoughts, and he couldn't help but panic.
He had the ability to even restore heavy injuries, but he didn't know what to do with Rebecca.
Once the doctors had examined Rebecca, a nurse approached Rudy.
Upon looking at the nurse, Rudy had one thought, "Kaguya?!"
'That's right! She should be working here as a nurse intern. I can't believe I t her like this. She helped so much when I was— wait, no, now is not the ti to reminisce about all that!"
"How is she?!" Rudy asked with a panicked look on his face.
"She is alright," Kaguya responded in a calm voice.
"Then why did she pass out?! She had a fever as well!"
"Well… that's…" Kaguya seed hesitant to tell Rudy, so she asked, "Do you have any female relatives I can talk to?"
"Yes! I will call her right away!"
Rudy called Jessica, who worked in the sa city. He asked her to co to the hospital as soon as possible.
Hearing Rudy's panicked voice and the fact that her sister was in hospital made Jessica leave everything behind.
When she got there, Kaguya asked to talk to Jessica in private.
'Is it sothing so serious that they can't tell ?!'
Although Rudy had the ability to hear anything using his super-sense, he was scared to know the cause of Rebecca's sudden sickness.
