Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy Chapter 3322 To Destroy and Create

Alex considered Shumi's words for a long ti before coming to a slight grimace.

"What?" Shumi asked. "Do you not want to bring salvation to the people?"

Alex shook his head quickly. "It's not that," he said. "It's just... I absolutely hate prophecies."

Shumi narrowed her eyes. "Why?"

"Because they are never clear about what they an. Nothing is ever set in stone, and yet the seers and diviners make it sound like it is," Alex said in an annoyed tone.

"They say a prophecy can never be fully trusted, and at the sa ti, they act like it is the only truth. One of the prophecies said I would die, and I thought it was going to co true multiple tis, but it hasn't co true quite yet. How much longer am I supposed to remain in suspense? When do I co to believe that it just isn't true?"

"There's also another one that says I will lead the world to destruction if I stay alive. And yet I will also lead the world to destruction if I were to die. How does it make sense for both to be true?"

Shumi was taken aback by him suddenly exploding into a rant. For a mont, she didn't know what to say at all. Slowly, she found her words.

"I can see where your distrust in them cos from," she said. "But in the slightest chance that it is true that you and I can heal the world to how it used to be, isn't it worth it to make that attempt?"

Alex paused, the anger in him slowly fading away. "Maybe," he said before correcting himself. "No, you're absolutely right. No matter how small a chance of this prophecy coming true, it would be useful for us to try it. However, I can't do it right now. I still have a lot to do."

"And so do I," Shumi said as she took hold of his hands. "We both have much to accomplish before we can be free of our burdens. It will take many millennia before we can rest free of worry."

Alex looked into her eyes and nodded. He couldn't even begin to imagine the sort of burden she was under.

He was prophesied to destroy the world, and she was prophesied to save it all.

And anyone who had done anything to build sothing knew that it was so much easier to destroy sothing than to create it.

He tightened his grip around her hand. "Don't worry," he said. "Whatever it is that you think you need to do for this world, you won't have to do it alone. I will be there to help you. I got rid of the Sun God, so I should at least take on his half of the burden."

Shumi smiled. "Well, let's first figure out how we're reaching the Divine realm. I at least only have to worry about a single other Origin. You have 7.

Alex chuckled slightly. "Yeah, it's a lot."

"7..." Shumi said with a sigh. "You know, I can't believe soone can have so many Origins. What exactly are your Creations?"

Alex couldn't help but grin. "Do you want to see?"

Shumi wasted no ti accepting the offer. A mont later, she was inside Alex's Spiritual Sea, staring at the 9 floating objects inside Alex's head.

Shumi counted 3 tis before she was certain she wasn't mistaken. "I thought you said 8."

Alex pointed at the red core where a half-grown human lay in a fetal position.

"That one doesn't count. It's the result of a blood technique that attempts to replicate what a Creation is," he explained.

Shumi was still surprised, but she didn't push it further. She looked at the rest of the Origins, already noticing the dull eye that lay inside a light net, sealed away.

"That's the Sun God, right?" she asked.

"Yes. That's the Dragon Father's eye," Alex said.

"And one is still empty, I see."

"For the Heavenly Cloud, or whatever I end up gaining from it," Alex said, ignoring it. "I must say, I was a little worried what your presence

would do to my Spiritual Sea."

"What did you think I would do?" Shumi asked.

"Not what you would do, but rather what your body would do.

Considering the connection our bodies have had, I was a little worried that your presence may stir things up. Thankfully, nothing of that sort

is happening."

"You should have let know you were worried about that," Shumi said, pouting slightly. "What if sothing had gone wrong?"

Alex smiled. "Let us continue." He then began explaining the other

Origins.

Shumi had seen him firsthand absorb the Void and the Sun, so it wasn't that surprising to see them there. However, when she saw the

Yellow Fog Origin, she couldn't believe her eyes.

"You're absorbing your body's property to turn it into a Creation?"

Shumi asked in surprise.

Alex nodded. "I can't use it outside my body, so I figured this was a

good way to make use of it. Do you disagree?"

Shumi shook her head. "I was rely taken aback," she said, turning her head to another Creation. "What is that one? It looks similar to the

Sun."

"That's the Nine Yang Divine Tree," Alex said.

"Really?" Shumi asked, her eyes narrowing. "It feels different.

Stronger."

"It's also absorbing the Yang Source in my Dantian to add directly to it," Alex said. "I'm not sure why that happens, but I'm hoping I will end

up with sothing better in the end."

Shumi raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.

Alex explained the second-to-last Creation he was making, the Blank Canvas pill. Upon hearing his words on what he wanted out of this Creation, Shumi was stunned.

"Right... you are an Alchemist. This would be an incredible Creation for you," she said. Slowly nodding, she turned her head toward the last one. It was a Creation that gave her the strangest feeling with its darkness and death aura.

Alex turned. "I'm curious. What information do the demons have on the Godslayer?"
