The treasury was hidden behind seven layers of seals that could only be opened by soone with the keys. The seven keys themselves were split and handed to the Seven Shadows to keep. So unless all of them ca together, the seals couldn't be opened, and no one could enter the treasury.
However, that did not matter in the presence of Shumi.
With a single touch of her palm and a burst of her All Ending Yin Qi, she could easily shut down any formation or seal, allowing her to go through them.
It was a problem if there were more than a single seal because they would fight back against her, making it difficult. But thankfully, the seals for the treasury were created with her powers in mind, and so the seals were at least a few ters apart.
So, they were pretty much separate seals that she could pass through one at a ti.
Despite that, it needed a decent chunk of her Qi for her to do
sothing like this, and it was only before she left that she had finally been able to open all seven. Today too, she would have to work hard just like that.
"I have the 4th key," the priestess explained as the two stood before the icy cave. "I will unlock the 4th seal, so you will have to take care of the rest, my goddess."
Shumi nodded. "Let's proceed."
She pushed on the first seal, pouring her Yin Qi onto it. The Yin bead inside her Dantian had improved her Yin Qi by quite a good asure, and the Emulous Cycle of Heaven and Earth had also refined her Yin Qi by a lot. Overall, compared to the last ti she had attempted this, the quality of her Yin was at least twice as good.
With a touch, the glowing seal ca undone like a net unraveled
before their eyes. It wasn't just quick this ti, but also quite thorough. Shumi herself was surprised at how easily she did it.
For a second, she had been wondering if she would have to use the Moon Goddess's energy, but from the looks of it, none of that would be necessary at all.
Half a minute later, the entire seal was gone, so she stepped in. The priestess followed her, gliding in without touching the floor.
Without her Qi, the seal ca back up, but that didn't matter since she was already in. Continuing on, Shumi walked over to the second seal and did the sa.
After a second, she opened the third seal, and finally she arrived at the fourth.
The priestess brought out her key, but Shumi gestured for her to stop and undid the seal herself. There was no point in that key.
The priestess blinked in surprise.
As a Celestial, if she were to try and break through these seals directly, it would likely take her an entire day. She could do it faster by destroying the Celestial vein upon which this seal was located, but that too would never be faster than what Shumi was doing.
The feeling of reverence inside her only grew as a result.
Not even 10 minutes later, Shumi and the priestess arrived at the treasury.
The treasury wasn't filled with treasures at all. In fact, it was quite empty, with only a few dozen pedestals standing inside the room, half of which were empty.
In total, there were 13 items inside the treasury, but each item was no doubt of the highest importance to the entirety of the demon realms. Shumi looked around the place, her eyes lingering on the items as she began walking past them.
There was a thin bow, seemingly made out of massive snowflakes put together delicately. There was a golden dagger with cracks running through it, as though it would shatter with a single use. There was a horn, made of ivory, that held a strong aura about it. A vial sat to the other side, the insides of it pitch black, to a point where it seed to drag in light itself.
After that, Shumi finally arrived at the pedestal with the wooden box and took it.
Previously, she would've had to ask for permission to take it. Now, it was entirely hers.
She opened the box and looked at the nearly dried-up root inside. Its aura was weak, but even through that she could tell just how thick the Yin it carried was. Her senses searched for the Heaven to make a connection.
As she connected, the Heaven seed to step away to give her the controls. Sadly, this didn't help Shumi the way she wanted to be helped. She closed her eyes, trying to figure out what the root
belonged to.
Doing that, she gained faint answers, nothing more than whispers in a storm. Even through that, she heard a few words.
True Yin Primordial Tree
Shumi's eyes opened. "So that's what your na is."
It was indeed a God Tree in the sa way the Nine Yang God Tree
was.
Shumi looked at the items on the pedestals beyond, but she had no use for any at the mont. "Let us return," she said.
"Right away, my goddess," she said. "But we should also take your words along with us. It will be a helpful guide."
"My words?" Shumi asked.
The priestess glided over to her and moved a step away, past the
boulder sized Space Stone, before picking up an old book with a thick leather cover upon it.
The priestess turned it around, and Shumi could finally read the
na.
"Words of the Moon Goddess?" she asked in surprise. "There was
such a thing here?"
The priestess nodded. "Long ago, when the Moon Goddess knew her end had co, she talked to a follower of hers and gave him commands on how to search for her and what to do after finding her. He kept it safe throughout the ti, and now we carry on his legacy."
"It's what we used to find you, and it is what will help you going forward."
