"The previous Moon Goddess had this written down?" Shumi asked, quite surprised that there was sothing like this here. They hadn't told her anything about it at all.

"She had. That was how we knew you would be reborn and why we have been searching for you for such a long ti," the Priestess explained.

Shumi closed her eyes for a mont, reconnecting to the Heaven to find her answer. Once again, the Heaven relinquished its control to her instead of answering her anything directly.

Vaguely, Shumi could see the image of a man bowing before her. Only she wasn't herself, but the Moon Goddess. The previous goddess had indeed talked to soone, and the book had co from him.

Shumi even gained a vague understanding of how long ago that was. It was nearly 3 million years ago now. That was how long it had been since the days of the old world.

That was the span of ti since the two gods had vanished, leaving behind just the Heavens.

Shumi opened her eyes again, sowhat in disbelief.

The priestess flipped open the book and went through the pages that spoke in detail about how to find her. It ntioned the formation that was set up in almost every realm that could find soone with a strong and powerful Yin Qi.

Many of those places had been destroyed during the war, but there were still quite a few running.

"Our next task after we announce your return should be to find the Undying God," the Priestess said. "He seems integral to everything we have to do in the future."

Shumi raised an eyebrow. "I knew he was important, but does it say

that in the book too?"

"This is where the prophecy of you working with him cos from in the first place," the priestess explained. "It also says how he will be your loyal servant, do whatever you say, and help you in any way you would need."

"I see," Shumi said with no small hint of surprise. "Don't worry about finding him. I already know where he is."

The priestess raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Of course," Shumi said. "Anything else in that book we need to be aware of?"

The priestess seed curious, but she didn't dare ask anything of Shumi that she didn't want to answer. Instead, she flipped the book to another page.

"When the Moon Goddess is reborn, she must visit the

Ever-Collapsing Realm. That will be her biggest step to salvation."

Shumi's eyes narrowed. "The Ever-Collapsing Realm?"

"Yes. But we shouldn't do this right away. The Ever-Collapsing Realm is dangerous even for us Celestials. Until we find a safe thod inside, we will have to postpone it."

Shumi gave a slow nod.

'Alex could take there easily, she thought. After all, if he wasn't wrong, then he had already been there and co out.

"Biggest step, huh?" Shumi murmured. "Considering the rate at which I'm improving as a goddess, it will take ages."

The priestess nodded. "That is why our first step should be the announcent of your ascendance, my goddess."

Shumi nodded. She understood.

They left the treasury a bit later, at which point the priestess spoke up.

"Another of the Seven aside from is inside the citadel now."

"Is it master?" Shumi asked.

"No, it's the Pacifist."

Shumi walked over to the hall where she found said man.

The Pacifist was a man wearing a simple yellow robe with a brown shawl going diagonally from his left shoulder. A necklace made of several wooden spheres hung around his neck. He had no hair of any sort, whether it be on his head, his face, or even his eyebrows.

Two red marks instead lay on his forehead at the place where his horn should've been.

It was said that this man had cut down his own horn as a pledge to never do any violence to any person or beast ever again. He was a true pacifist who did not even fight anyone, let alone kill. He would rather lay down his own life.

And even so, the man was a Celestial. How he beca one, no one ever knew.

"Senior Pacifist!" Shumi called out. She had never heard anyone call him anything else, and the man did not correct anyone, so this was what everyone called him now.

The bald man turned around with a smile that imdiately froze upon seeing Shumi. In an instant, his eyes widened and without any warning, he fell to his knees.

"Lady Evernight, you have successfully returned," he said. "Allow this humble servant of yours to congratulate you."

"Thank you, Senior Pacifist. You may stand."

The man remained bowing for a mont longer before standing with

a look of hesitation on his face.

"You must wait for so ti longer, Senior Pacifist, as the others have yet to return," Shumi explained. "In the anwhile, we've been

to the treasury and brought out the root of the True Yin Primordial Tree and the book written by the old Moon Goddess."

The man nodded absentmindedly, seemingly far too stunned to speak

at all.

"Could I get your input on sothing before the others return?" she asked, looking at both the Pacifist and the Priestess.

"Anything you wish to ask, my Goddess," the priestess said.

"Speak your mind with no worry, Lady Evernight," the Pacifist quickly

followed.

"These tis are sensitive, and I know that it feels as though the war of the old may restart at any mont," Shumi said. "But I want to find

a way to smooth things out before they get serious. As the Moon Goddess, my first mission will be to bring peace to everyone. So, when it is announced that I am the Moon Goddess, I wish everyone to learn about it. Not just us, but the Humans and the Beasts as well."

"That..." the Priestess didn't know what to say.

"We can try, but I doubt the Humans will accept it," the Pacifist said.

"Then try we will," Shumi said. "Let us find a way to send a ssage to the Gods of the Human Realms. We should all sit down and have a

conversation."
