Once the light faded away, Alex and the rest found themselves standing on a receiving platform in an entirely different world they had never been to.
Alex looked around at the slightly disoriented beasts, along with a decent number of humans who had gathered around the formation.
As soon as Alex saw them, he pulled out a talisman, imdiately sending a ssage to Bladedance.
"Master, I have arrived at the Sacred Lotus Dominion."
There was no ti to waste.
All around Alex, the beasts began to transform into their human forms, which delayed what ca next a bit, but not by any reasonable amount.
Within monts, half a dozen Divinities had already surrounded the platform, each one looking directly at him. There was no doubt that these people knew who he was.
"Well, I expected so ti before I had to deal with this, but I suppose I don't have such freedom."
Alex prepared to fight. These people would be trying to capture him instead of killing him, so that would make things a lot easier for now.
He only had to hold on until his master arrived.
The beasts didn't know what was happening. These were the beasts that had been waiting for their chance to leave the Land of the Blessed Sun and thus didn't even know who Alex was.
To them, a random group of humans was being surrounded by other humans. As such, they began moving away from the platform imdiately, not wanting to get caught up in the battle.
As per Alex's suggestion, Pearl, Whisker, and Scarlet did the sa,
mingling with the group as they walked away from the platform. In the end, Alex alone stood there, with a few more Divinities surrounding him now. Two more and it would be a perfect dozen. "Just what sort of reward has the Storm God promised you all, Seniors?" Alex asked. "I would like to hear what I am worth in the Storm God's eyes."
One of the Divinities, an older woman with graying hair in a bun, looked at Alex in surprise. "Are you giving yourself up?" she asked. "If we don't have to fight, then we would rather not harm you."
Alex couldn't help but snicker a little. "If you're expecting to go along with you of my own accord, then you can forget about it," he said. "You will have to fight to capture . But... I wonder which one of you will be the one."
The Divinities looked at each other, each one gauging the others' power and potential to stop them from taking Alex to the Divine Thunderforge Realm.
Alex could feel the tension in the air growing out of nowhere. None of these Divinities had been prepared for when he actually arrived, it seed, which made sense, since none of them would have known that he was arriving here.
There had to be people like this waiting for him in every realm, each one hoping to get lucky. These people had, and yet there was still competition here.
Alex could feel cultivation bases being slowly asured all around him, the Divinities trying to get the others to back off without getting into an actual fight.
Alex could tell most of them were in the Divine Creation realm, but two were stronger, likely in the Divine Manifestation realm.
As the aura passed around, a few of the Divinities began backing off, and that led to almost all of the Divine Creation realm cultivators moving away.
The ones that were left were the old woman from before and a man in a dark blue robe with short black hair.
The two Divine Manifestation realm cultivators glared at each other, neither backing off.
Alex wondered if he should just hide himself from their senses and teleport away, but he saw no point in that if his master were to arrive at any mont now.
The ssage had gone through, so at the very least she was in this realm. Since she was, arriving here-wherever here was-should take her no ti at all.
Just then, an unfamiliar but strong aura descended from the sky. Everyone looked up, including Alex, to see a man standing high in the air, trails of fire disappearing behind him.
Slowly, the man flew down toward the ground, and by that point, the two contending Divinities were already moving away, bowing toward
the newcor.
Alex looked at the man with his long, flowing brown hair and vibrant red robe. Deep yellow eyes stared back at him, not even looking at the
other two Divinities.
Alex had been around enough strong cultivators by now to know that the one before him was, in fact, a Divine Domain realm cultivator. Even if he wished to, it was likely that he could never escape this man, even with his techniques. The only one who could stop him was none other than his master.
"Greetings, Senior Flastride," the old woman quickly said. The other man also greeted the newcor.
"Mhm."
The newcor gave the others no more acknowledgent. Instead,
he kept looking at Alex from head to toe. "You look well, young Dawnblade," the man said.
"So you know of , Senior," Alex said while searching the skies for
his master.
"It's hard to find soone who doesn't," the man said with a laugh. "Especially among the Divinities, considering the Storm God wishes to reward those who can get you to him."
Alex narrowed his eyes. "What reward is that, if you don't mind
asking?"
The man shrugged. "We don't know. Only those who receive it will know," he said. "Not that we want that, right?"
Those words caused Alex to pause for a mont. "You don't want to
find out?"
"No."
Alex frowned. "Are you not here to capture ?"
"Capture you?" The man couldn't help but openly chuckle. "You're far
too worried. I'm not here to capture you. I'm here to take you and your friends to Mother. The Sword God awaits you at her palace."
