He could now move about slowly, but it would still take so ti before he could move completely freely. This was a perfect example of the saying, "more haste, less speed."
Once his Dragon Spiritual Power was nearly depleted, Ye Tian sat down, took so Spirit Stones from his Storage Ring, and began to absorb them. Of course, his first priority was to provide the Spiritual Qi needed by the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python.
After breaking through to the Second Vein, Ye Tian found he could now retrieve much higher-grade Spirit Stones from his Storage Ring. He was delighted to find that while Middle-Grade Spirit Stones were now quite common, he would even occasionally pull out a Top-Grade one.
The higher the grade of a Spirit Stone, the more Spiritual Qi it contained, which in turn reduced the ti needed for absorption. Right now, he was rapidly absorbing from one Middle-Grade and one Top-Grade Spirit Stone.
The sensation of multitasking was strange. Ye Tian didn't absorb much from the Spirit Stones before he had to stop. His body's Spiritual Power was already saturated, so he resud his training.

A crisp cracking sound echoed from within Ye Tian's Dantian, signaling his breakthrough. He had now reached the Second Vein Second Layer, and his Dragon Spiritual Power had increased considerably.
The pressure in the Gravity Chamber also felt much lighter—or so it seed to him. He was slowly adapting. Ye Tian could now walk around inside, though his movents weren't yet fast. He was confident, however, that it wouldn't be long before the intense gravity felt like nothing at all.
The Second Layer of his Divine Dragon Battle Body was now at its final, critical stage. He believed that if he broke through, he would beco as light as a feather even in here. Outside the chamber's influence, he might even be able to leap ten ters into the air.
Ye Tian, focused on his Cultivation in the Gravity Chamber, was of course unaware of the events unfolding outside Linyuan Academy. At that very mont, mbers of the Sima and Murong Clans had gathered before the academy's main gate.
The Sima and Murong Clans were connected by marriage, and the fact that the young masters of both families had been killed by the sa person was sothing they could not accept. Now, standing before the academy, they were on the verge of tearing down its very gates.
"Xiao Wenjie! Guan Tianshui! Get out here! If you don't show your faces, you can just wait for Linyuan Academy to be wiped from the Celestial Dragon Empire!" Murong Jiang roared, his voice thundering through the sky, easily heard by every student within the academy.
A wave of panic spread through the student body. It was obvious the Sima and Murong Families had co to the academy to settle their score with Ye Tian.
Xiao Wenjie and Guan Tianshui couldn't allow any harm to co to their academy. While the Murong and Sima clans were still en route, Xiao Wenjie had already sent a ssage to his greatest backer: the Royal Academy in the Imperial City.
He was confident that important figures would arrive soon. Dealing with the current situation shouldn't be a problem. If the Murong and Sima clans actually dared to make a move, he wasn't afraid. The academy's instructors were all formidable experts. It was entirely possible they could slay every last one of them.
"Notify the instructors from the Basic, Middle, and Advanced Classes to assemble at the main gate imdiately," Xiao Wenjie said to Guan Tianshui. "I'd like to see what the Murong and Sima clans dare to do to my academy."
Guan Tianshui imdiately produced a red Jade Pendant. After using his Spiritual Power to inscribe a few words onto it, the pendant flared with a dazzling red light. In the blink of an eye, it shattered into several beams of light that vanished into the sky.
"Alright, let's go out and et them," Xiao Wenjie said. With a flicker, the two of them shot into the air, appearing a mont later before Linyuan Academy's massive front gate.
anwhile, Ye Tian, still inside the Gravity Chamber, seed oblivious to Murong Jiang's shouts. He was moving with increasing speed, his Longsword a blur in his hands. Phantoms of the blade filled the chamber, their strikes producing a thunderous RUMBLE.
"Xiao Wenjie, you finally decided to show yourselves! I was starting to think you were just a bunch of cowards hiding in your shells," Murong Jiang sneered. "Hand over that brat Ye Tian and compensate our two clans with one million Spirit Stones. Do that, and we'll let this matter drop. Otherwise, we'll flatten your Linyuan Academy!"
"Murong Jiang, did I hear you correctly?" Xiao Wenjie retorted angrily. "You want to flatten my Linyuan Academy and demand a million Spirit Stones? Who the hell do you think you are? If you know what's good for you, you'll leave peacefully. But if you insist on making trouble, don't bla for what happens next!"
"So you're refusing to hand over Ye Tian!" Murong Jiang raged. "That brat killed the sons of both our clans! Are you really going to protect him? You clearly have no respect for us!"
"The duels between Ye Tian, Murong Rufeng, and Sima Tianquan were fair and square. Your sons used Hidden Weapons, Bursting Fire Talismans, the Rainstorm Blossom Needle, and even a Killing Artifact like the Ten Extres Trapped Dragon Slash, yet they still couldn't kill him. And you have the audacity to co here demanding justice?
"You've brought utter disgrace upon yourselves, yet you still have the gall to co here and settle scores. Frankly, I'm embarrassed for you. And another thing—do you really think Linyuan Academy is afraid of you?
"Linyuan Academy has stood for hundreds of years. Do you think just any family can shake us? You gravely underestimate us! I'll repeat myself: either you leave now, or we'll escalate this matter and see if your two clans truly have what it takes to flatten Linyuan Academy!" Xiao Wenjie roared at the mbers of the Sima and Murong clans.
Murong Jiang and Sima Mingqing were taken aback for a mont. But the pain of losing their sons was not sothing a few words from Xiao Wenjie could assuage. If they didn't get a satisfactory resolution today, they were fully prepared to fight Linyuan Academy to the death.
"Enough nonsense, Xiao Wenjie!" Sima Mingqing snarled. "We didn't co here today with any intention of leaving empty-handed. If you don't hand over my son's murderer, I will destroy Linyuan Academy right now!"
"You dare? Go on and try!" Xiao Wenjie shot back, his own anger flaring. 'In a one-on-one fight, I'm slightly stronger than him anyway. Besides, my academy's instructors are all elites, with the weakest being experts at the Four Veins Realm. If they truly push too far, I might just make sure neither of these clans ever leaves this place.'
"Then we'll see if we dare!" Sima Mingqing declared. He shot a look at his n. "All of you, attack! Since Xiao Wenjie won't hand over Ye Tian, we'll destroy Linyuan Academy! We'll show them that the Sima and Murong Families are not to be trifled with!"
Just then, instructors from Linyuan Academy's three classes appeared, numbering more than twenty in all. Several of them, from the Advanced Class, were even at the Five Veins Realm. Though outnumbered by the two clans, their collective strength was far greater.
"Instructors of Linyuan Academy! These people want to flatten our school! What do we do?" Xiao Wenjie roared. "Shouldn't we teach them a lesson? Kill anyone who dares to step foot inside Linyuan Academy! Grant them no quarter!"
