These tremors greatly frightened the students within Linyuan Academy. One by one, they looked up at the sky with shocked expressions. Normally, their instructors would have already been in the teaching halls, instructing them in Martial Skills, but today, they were late.
Many students put two and two together. Ye Tian had killed the young masters of the Murong and Sima Families. It was highly likely that the two families had co seeking revenge, only to be blocked by the academy's instructors.
The current battle had to be between the academy's instructors and the people from the two families. Only they could unleash such terrifying Attack Power.
Panic spread among many of the students. They started running toward their Cultivation areas. So were so terrified their legs went weak, and they didn't know how to flee, simply standing rooted to the spot in anxiety.
Shock also appeared on the faces of Ye Feifei and Qin Xiaowan. They, along with Chu Hongyuan and Zhou Xiang, found it strange and couldn't help but step out of the teaching hall to look up at the distant sky.
"Ye Tian definitely caused this," Qin Xiaowan said decisively. "We can't be a burden to him, so we have to find a way to protect ourselves—or rather, hide ourselves. We'll co back out after this is all over."
"That's right. The Murong and Sima Families are both powerful. Since they dared to co to the academy and cause trouble, they must have co prepared," Chu Hongyuan added. "We can't delay. We need to hide now. It'll be a disaster if they find us and use us to threaten Ye Tian."
The group agreed it was a sound plan and quickly departed. As for where they hid, only they themselves knew.
The battle outside Linyuan Academy's main gate was incredibly intense. The academy's instructors were particularly formidable, having already cut down several elites from the two families. They showed no rcy to those who ca to Linyuan Academy to cause trouble.
Xiao Wenjie and Guan Tianshui grew more valiant the longer they fought. They continuously unleashed powerful Martial Skills in the air, beating Sima Mingqing and Murong Jiang to the point where they could only parry, with no strength left to counterattack.
If this continued, the Patriarchs of the two families might very well be slain. The two n were shocked by the beating they were taking. They had never expected Linyuan Academy to be so strong—they had truly underestimated it.
Just then, several whooshes cut through the air, followed by the appearance of three figures. In the blink of an eye, they arrived before Xiao Wenjie's group of four.
"Stop this at once, all of you!" one of the newcors roared. "To dare fight at Linyuan Academy—you must have a death wish!" The voice was so loud it was deafening, a testant to the speaker's imnse power.
Everyone stopped and carefully observed the three uninvited guests. Anyone who could fly through the air was naturally a Five Vein Powerhouse. For three to appear at once was indeed shocking.
Two of the three were middle-aged n, and one was an elder. The trio looked down at the crowd on the ground, and of course, at Xiao Wenjie and the other three in the air.
"Xiao Wenjie, what is going on here?" the elder demanded, his face etched with displeasure. "How did your Linyuan Academy get into a conflict with the Sima and Murong Families? Did you really have to disturb and have co handle this matter?"
"Wenjie greets Elder Jin! This matter is the fault of these two families. They went too far, deliberately coming to my Linyuan Academy to cause trouble. I implore Elder Jin to uphold justice!" Xiao Wenjie said respectfully to the elder.
"I will naturally handle this matter. Those who dare cause trouble in Lin Yuan will not be let off the hook!" said Elder Jin.
"Senior, who might you be? You look unfamiliar! This ti, it was Linyuan Academy that was in the wrong. Why do you say we went too far?" Sima Mingqing asked.
"I am Elder Jin of the Imperial City Academy. Linyuan Academy is a branch of my Imperial City Academy. Now that Linyuan Academy has a problem, don't you think we should step in and manage it? I want to know exactly what happened to cause this conflict, and I want the truth.
If anyone dares to falsify the facts, the consequences will be severe. You should all consider your words carefully," Elder Jin said.
"Elder Jin, this is what happened..." Xiao Wenjie recounted the entire story of Ye Tian's duel with Sima Tianquan and Murong Rufeng, as well as the matter of the two families now causing trouble at their gates.

As he spoke, he glanced aningfully at Sima Mingqing and Murong Jiang. A talent as outstanding as Ye Tian naturally had to be protected. If the two dared to object, he truly wouldn't mind annihilating both of their families.
Xiao Wenjie was in a difficult position, but he realized that bringing Ye Tian out was the only way to resolve this smoothly. With a flicker of his body, he shot toward his office area.
