Just as he completed a single circulation, the door to the Gravity Chamber opened. Xiao Wenjie walked in from outside, but seeing Ye Tian still in the middle of his cultivation, he didn't speak right away.

Ye Tian, however, opened his eyes. He glanced at Xiao Wenjie and asked, "Dean, is sothing wrong? I just felt a massive energy fluctuation overhead. Have the Murong and Sima families co to the academy for revenge?"

"You're right," Xiao Wenjie said. "I'm here to take you outside. But rest assured, three powerful experts from the Imperial City Academy have co to help deal with your situation, so you don't need to worry about your safety. You're our highest priority for protection right now."

Ye Tian had heard about the Imperial City Academy from Ye Weitian and Ye Feifei. It was the most prestigious academy in the Celestial Dragon Empire, and only the cream of the crop from other academies could get in. These arrivals had most likely been summoned by Xiao Wenjie; he just hadn't expected them to arrive so quickly.

"There's no ti to lose. Let's go!" Ye Tian said respectfully to Xiao Wenjie. "I'm sorry to have troubled you with this, Dean."

"It's not as serious as you make it sound," Xiao Wenjie said. "Anyone who dares to show contempt for Linyuan Academy must be punished. Just stay by my side. If Sima Mingqing or Murong Jiang try anything, I won't hesitate to annihilate both of their families today."

Ye Tian nodded and left the Gravity Chamber with Xiao Wenjie. The release from the imnse pressure was indescribably invigorating. He felt as if every pore on his body had opened in that instant, drinking in the fresh air.

Ye Tian scanned the faces of those staring at him. He could clearly make out the furious flas in the eyes of two middle-aged n—a rage that looked as if it could devour him whole in an instant.

These two were, of course, Sima Mingqing and Murong Jiang. It was easy enough to tell them apart just by looking at their faces.

"Ye Tian, don't worry. We've got your back. If the Sima and Murong families dare to try anything, we'll annihilate them today!" Xiao Yaoyao's voice suddenly reached him via Secret Transmission.

Ye Tian looked in the direction of the voice and saw Xiao Yaoyao making a reassuring gesture. Their eyes t for a mont, and Ye Tian suddenly felt a strange pang in his heart, forcing him to quickly avert his gaze.

"That's right, I am Ye Tian," he replied, his tone neither servile nor arrogant. "And who might you be, Elder?" He knew the man was from the Imperial City Academy, but he was rely playing dumb.

"You've got so nerve," Elder Jin continued. "Did you not know that those two were the young masters of major families? Your actions will bring great trouble upon the academy. Did you even consider the consequences?"

"Consequences?" A flicker of anger ignited in Ye Tian's heart. "If soone did everything in their power to kill you, using the most underhanded ans, would you stop to consider the consequences? If you're here to condemn as well, Elder, then I'm not afraid!"

'Who did they think he was? He was the Young Master of the Shen Li Palace! To speak to him like this was simply courting death. If Elder Qing or Zhang Fengyu were here, a single word from either of them would be enough to put these people in their place. Ultimately, this was all because he was still too weak.'
