Ye Tian had mixed feelings upon returning to the High-Level Demon Beast Region. He still wasn't used to Lin Ling's absence. After all, he wasn't familiar with the Snake King, and there were many things they couldn't discuss.
"Young Master Ye, should I capture so weaker Demon Beasts for you to practice on?" the Snake King asked Ye Tian.
Ye Tian thought for a mont before replying, "Not for now. I'd like to practice my Martial Skills first. When the ti cos, I'll definitely have to trouble you, Elder She."
He looked around at his surroundings. They were probably halfway up the mountainside. The trees were incredibly dense, yet there was no sign of any Demon Beasts. 'I wonder if it's because the Snake King is here,' he thought.
Ye Tian wanted to find a secluded place for his Cultivation, and a cave would be best. However, he was completely unfamiliar with the High-Level Demon Beast Region, so his only option was to ask the Snake King.
"Snake King, do you know if there are any caves nearby? I'd like to spend so ti in Cultivation inside one," Ye Tian said to the Snake King. "I'll need you to stand guard for during that ti. It would be a problem if Demon Beasts ca to interrupt."
"Young Master Ye, there are several caves around here," the Snake King said. "But the best one is the Golden Bull Demon's lair. How about I take you to see it now?"
"The Golden Bull Demon? Does that an it's a Gold Attribute Demon Beast? How strong is it?" Ye Tian asked, his curiosity suddenly piqued.
"The Golden Bull Demon is one of the more powerful creatures in this High-Level Demon Beast Region," the Snake King said. "But if it saw , it would have no choice but to run. After all, the Golden Bull Demon is only a Tier Four Demon Beast. It would be very easy for to kill it."
Ye Tian understood the Snake King's standing in this Demon Beast Region—he was truly a King here. 'If I can get into the Golden Bull Demon's cave, my Cultivation will definitely go better.'
"In that case, there's no ti to lose. Why don't you take to see it now? I also want to see what this Golden Bull Demon looks like. Maybe I can even get a Gold Attribute Magic Crystal out of it!" Ye Tian said with a smile.
The Snake King nodded, and with a flash, his figure shot forward. Ye Tian quickly executed his Dragon Form Hundred Transformations and followed. The wind howled past his ears, and in the blink of an eye, they had reappeared several miles away.
Only now that he had broken through to the Third Vein did Ye Tian truly understand how powerful he had beco. The Dragon Spiritual Power he had before was nothing compared to his current reserves; it was like comparing a stream to a great river.
Before long, the Snake King stopped up ahead, and Ye Tian was by his side in an instant. The Snake King was inwardly shocked by Ye Tian's speed.
Ye Tian was still concealing his true power, making it seem as if he were at the Second Vein Fifth Layer. 'To move this fast with that level of power should be impossible,' the Snake King thought. 'And yet, it's happening right before my eyes.'
"Young Master Ye, do you see that cave up ahead? That's the Golden Bull Demon's lair," the Snake King said. "I just checked, and it's inside right now. How about I go drive it out?"
"Excellent. Kill it if you can," Ye Tian said with a smile. "Of course, if the Golden Bull Demon gives up the cave willingly, you can spare its life."
The Snake King nodded. His figure flashed, leaving an afterimage as he shot toward the cave. Ye Tian, anwhile, walked over at a leisurely pace. However, he had fully extended his Divine Sense, giving him a crystal-clear picture of the situation inside the cave.
The Snake King was currently in his human form and had concealed his demonic aura. If he didn't reveal his true body, no one would ever notice—not even with Ye Tian's powerful Perception Power.
The mouth of the cave was over three ters high and surprisingly smooth, as if it had been polished. This caught Ye Tian by surprise.
The Snake King entered the cave. Shortly after, a deafening bellow echoed from within. The Snake King then erged from the cave, and a huge, cow-shaped Demon Beast, completely golden and over two ters tall, appeared at the entrance.
Ye Tian took a closer look at the bull demon. He knew this had to be the Golden Bull Demon. Sure enough, its entire body glead with a golden light—it was a body of pure gold. The strangest part was that it didn't have a single hair on it; instead, it was covered in Scale Armor, with each scale the size of a man's palm.
However, the two giant golden horns on the bull's head caught Ye Tian's attention. The horns were over a ter long and currently shimred with an eerie light. They were clearly the Golden Bull Demon's primary weapons.
'Getting hit by those huge horns would likely an instant death,' Ye Tian thought. 'No wonder the Snake King said this creature was formidable. It must be one of the strongest Tier Four Demon Beasts.'
The Golden Bull Demon's eyes were currently sizing up the Snake King. Perhaps it was a Demon Beast's natural instinct for danger, but it hadn't attacked him.
As for Ye Tian, it didn't even spare him a glance, as if it knew he posed no threat. This left Ye Tian feeling quite irked.
"Golden Bull Demon, if you know what's good for you, leave on your own. You might get to keep your life," the Snake King said to the Golden Bull Demon. "Otherwise, you won't even have the chance to run later."
As a Tier Four Demon Beast, the Golden Bull Demon could naturally understand what the Snake King was saying. Whether it could actually speak, however, was another question.
So Demon Beasts, like the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python, could speak even at the Tier Three Power Realm. Others, however, couldn't speak even at Tier Four, needing to reach Tier Five and assu a human form before they could do so.
"Who are you? We have no quarrel, so why are you trying to take my territory?" the Golden Bull Demon said. "I don't wish to harm you. You should leave. If you piss off, I can't even say what will happen."
Ye Tian was shocked. 'I can't believe the Golden Bull Demon can speak. That ans its bloodline isn't low-grade,' he thought. 'But from its words, it seems pretty even-tempered, at least it didn't attack right away. I wonder if it's because it's wary of the Snake King.'
"You stubborn fool!" the Snake King roared. "I'll give you one last chance. If you don't leave now, you're going to end up a dead bull!"
"Insolence! You dare tell to leave my own territory? Today, I'll show you the power of the Golden Bull Demon!" the Golden Bull Demon roared back, its bull-headed stubbornness finally flaring up.
A golden light suddenly flared to life on the Golden Bull Demon's two massive horns. Ye Tian could clearly feel a powerful Energy radiating from that golden light. 'Perhaps this is the Energy of the Gold Elent.'
"You want to attack ? You're courting death! I'll turn you into a dead bull today!" the Snake King roared. The Snake Bone Sword appeared in his hand in a flash, and he lunged at the Golden Bull Demon with the force of a thunderbolt!
