Eternal Dragon Emperor Chapter 249 250: Slaying the Golden Bull Demon (Part 1)

The Attack Power of a Tier Five Demon Beast was terrifying, and the Snake King's strike was nothing short of earth-shattering. He brandished his Snake Bone Sword, creating a massive, flower-like pattern of light as he attacked the Golden Bull Demon.

The surrounding space began to tremble. The powerful Sword Qi within the attack, like a swarm of vipers, rushed toward the Golden Bull Demon.

A golden light flared from the Golden Bull Demon's two massive horns. From a distance, Ye Tian saw two beams of energy, much like Sword Qi, shoot out to et the Snake King's attack.

'So this is a Gold Attribute Energy Attack. It's incredibly domineering,' Ye Tian mused. 'But it doesn't look like the Golden Bull Demon can withstand the Snake King's assault.'

BOOM! A trendous explosion erupted between the Golden Bull Demon and the Snake King as their attacks collided. Energy blasted out in all directions, instantly cracking the ground and forming several massive, bottomless fissures.

The shockwave sent the Golden Bull Demon's massive body flying several ters, slamming it back into the cave. The impact dislodged a shower of stones from the entrance.

The Snake King, however, only stumbled back a few steps before steadying himself. It had to be said, the Golden Bull Demon's Attack Power was indeed formidable; forcing the Snake King to retreat even a few steps was no small feat.

The Golden Bull Demon charged back out of the cave, letting out a bellow. The sound was deafening and hair-raising—another Sonic Attack.

"Who are you? I have no quarrel with you, so why must you be so aggressive?" the Golden Bull Demon demanded angrily. It no longer dared to attack the Snake King.

The previous exchange had made it clear that the gap in their power was far too great. If the fight continued, it would surely end up dead, just as its opponent threatened.

"You're not worthy of knowing who I am," the Snake King said with a smirk. "I already gave you a chance to leave. You thought your power as a Tier Four Demon Beast was sothing special, but in my eyes, you're just an ant. Golden Bull Demon, your Gold Attribute Magic Crystal is mine."

The Golden Bull Demon stared at the Snake King with its massive eyes, as if trying to place his identity. Suddenly, its body trembled, and a look of sheer terror filled its eyes.

Its huge fra began to tremble violently. It must have realized who the Snake King was. All of its earlier arrogance vanished, replaced by pure dread and fear.

"You're the Snake King? Impossible! That's completely impossible! Why would you be with a human? You're the King of the High-Level Demon Beast Region!" the Golden Bull Demon exclaid in disbelief.

"So, you do have so mory after all. That's right, I am the Snake King. As for why I'm with a human, you're not worthy of knowing. And even if you found out, you'd disappear right after. Golden Bull Demon, I'll give you one last chance. Hand over your Gold Attribute Magic Crystal if you don't want to die.

If I have to kill you to get it, you'll lose any chance of survival. My patience is limited, so consider your options carefully," the Snake King said, his tone deceptively mild.

The Golden Bull Demon's fury surged upon hearing the Snake King's ultimatum. This was an impossible demand! Forcing it to hand over its own Magic Crystal was a fate worse than death.

A Magic Crystal was the very source of a Demon Beast's power. Without it, the beast would lose all of its offensive abilities, becoming utterly useless. It might be able to survive, but its life would be pathetic and wretched. Even a low-tier demon beast could easily kill it.

The Golden Bull Demon knew its doom was sealed. Though unwilling to accept its fate, it had to find a way to escape. Its mind raced, desperately searching for a plan.

Its eyes suddenly landed on Ye Tian. It could clearly sense how weak he was. 'If I can just capture him,' it thought, 'I can get out of here.' As for the cave, that didn't matter. Compared to its own life, nothing else was important.

The Golden Bull Demon's plan was much the sa as the Thunder Crow King's had been. But the Ye Tian of today was no pushover. Though his Attack Power couldn't match the Golden Bull Demon's, his speed was exceptional. Dodging the bull's attacks would be easy enough.

"You want to hand over my Magic Crystal? In your dreams!" the Golden Bull Demon roared. "Snake King, you are a Demon Beast, yet you take orders from a pathetic human. Do you feel no sha? You are a disgrace to all of us!"

"Golden Bull Demon, don't waste your breath on taunts. Since you won't hand over your Magic Crystal, you can just wait for death!" the Snake King roared. His aura surged, and the imnse pressure of a Tier Five Demon Beast crashed down upon the Golden Bull Demon, almost making it buckle.

All Tier Four Demon Beasts possessed a degree of Spiritual Wisdom, and the Golden Bull Demon was no different. It knew that evading the Snake King to get to the human would be difficult, but it was watching, waiting for its chance.

"Snake King, you should understand what a Magic Crystal ans to a Demon Beast," the Golden Bull Demon pleaded. "We are both Demon Beasts. Must you be so ruthless? Why can't you give a chance?"

"A chance?" the Snake King retorted. "I already gave you one. It's not my fault you didn't take it. You have only yourself to bla for being so arrogant, for thinking a re Tier Four Demon Beast was so kind of supre existence. It's too late for regrets."

The Golden Bull Demon knew escaping would be nearly impossible, but it was willing to take one last gamble. Once again, a deafening bellow erupted from its mouth.

Its massive body erupted in a golden light so brilliant it was impossible to look at directly. At the sa ti, a destructive aura began to radiate from it, much like the one the Earth Bear had exuded when it self-destructed.

Both the Snake King and Ye Tian were startled. They both suspected the beast was about to self-destruct, taking them all down together now that it was cornered.

Just as they were contemplating the dire possibility, the Golden Bull Demon's massive body suddenly charged straight for Ye Tian, putting its original plan into motion.

In reality, the Golden Bull Demon was incapable of self-destruction. The terrifying aura was just an illusion, a bluff created by burning the Energy within its Magic Crystal to make the Snake King and Ye Tian think it was making a desperate last stand.

The Snake King was the closest to the Golden Bull Demon and would be heavily injured if it self-destructed. A peak Tier Four Demon Beast's self-destruction could easily kill a Tier Five Demon Beast. Thus, the Snake King had no choice but to rapidly retreat several dozen ters.

The Golden Bull Demon had just burned through a third of its Magic Crystal's Energy, but it was a worthy sacrifice if it ant survival. Even losing half would have been acceptable.

Seeing the Snake King retreat, it knew its chance had arrived and charged furiously toward Ye Tian.
