Seeing Ye Tian's sudden fury, Zhou Xiang, Chu Hongyuan, and Qian Xiaohao all fell silent. They knew Ye Tian was fiercely loyal, but they hadn't realized he would react so strongly.
When Ye Tian saw the three of them remain silent, he grew even more anxious. "Do you guys not see as a brother anymore? Ye Tian's words left the three of them at a loss. They exchanged glances before Chu Hongyuan gave a helpless, bitter smile.
"This all started because of you. You know you have a feud with the Sima Family at this academy. Back when you killed Sima Tianquan and Murong Rufeng, it was inevitable that soone would co seeking revenge."
"When they heard you'd returned to the academy, they naturally ca looking for you. But you had gone to the Gravity Chamber, so we, as your brothers, had to be their punching bags," Chu Hongyuan explained.
The more Ye Tian listened, the more furious he beca. He now understood the whole story. Since they couldn't find him, they had taken it out on his friends. He would never let anyone who bullied his brothers get away with it.
"Who exactly did this to you? Was it Sima Tianhai? If he dared to lay a hand on you, then I'll make him pay the price for his foolish actions," Ye Tian raged.
"Sima Tianhai didn't show up himself, but his lackeys were quite eager. If it hadn't been for Instructor Lin Ling, the three of us might have been seriously injured. One of them even made a direct threat, saying that if you dared to show your face, he'd knock all your teeth out."

"Good! Excellent! Kill them without anyone being the wiser, and people will assu a Demon Beast did it. Let's go with that! I never knew you had such a devious streak, kid!" Ye Tian laughed.
"But you still need to show yourself first. Let them know you're back. When they co to settle the score, you can suggest taking it to the Demon Beast Region. That way, you won't have to hold back, and I'm sure they'll readily agree," Qian Xiaohao said.
The other three all understood Qian Xiaohao's plan. The four of them then left the dormitory and headed toward the academic building. Along the way, they inevitably attracted the envious gazes of other students, who were naturally jealous of Zhou Xiang, Chu Hongyuan, and Qian Xiaohao for being friends with a genius like Ye Tian.
"It must be amazing to be friends with Ye Tian. If I could be his friend, imagine how much respect I'd get!" one student whispered.
"Ye Tian's back? Weren't people looking for him a few days ago? They couldn't find him, so they went after Chu Hongyuan and the others instead. I wonder if his return is a good thing or a bad thing," said another.
Ye Tian paid no mind to the chatter. Instead, he spread his Divine Sense, scanning to see if anyone had an unusual reaction to his presence. He was certain that Sima Tianhai would have arranged for lookouts in the Advanced Class, and soone was probably sending a ssage right now.
Just as Ye Tian expected, it wasn't long before a student saw him and imdiately ran off. A red light then flashed in the air, which must have been a signal being sent out.
Ye Tian knew his goal had been accomplished. There was little point in going to the academic building now. "Let's head back. Soone has already sent word! We're not going to just stand here like idiots and wait for them, are we?"
"Let's go to the academic building anyway. Let's see what Instructor Lin Ling is teaching today. Since we ca all this way, it would be a waste not to go in," Zhou Xiang said.
Just as the four of them were about to enter, a voice like a silver bell suddenly rang out from behind them. "Ye Tian, where have you been the last few days? I've been looking all over for you!"
All four of them turned around at once, only to find it was the campus "goddess," Zhang Xinlan. She was walking toward Ye Tian with a radiant smile, leaving Zhou Xiang and the others feeling stunned and incredibly flattered.
"What can I do for you?" Ye Tian asked, slightly taken aback.
"Can't I look for you just because? What if I said I missed you, would you believe it?" Zhang Xinlan said with a slight smile, one that could warm anyone's heart.
Ye Tian knew she didn't an it like that. She was saying it deliberately for his three friends to overhear, likely using them to spread the word that she was only interested in him and that everyone else should stop dreaming.
Of course, other students were also present, and they would be even better conduits for the gossip. Still, Ye Tian was a little puzzled as to why Zhang Xinlan had sought him out.

The other one, however, was staring straight at Zhang Xinlan, his eyes practically popping out of his head. Zhang Xinlan was thoroughly disgusted. 'If I wasn't trying to hide my true strength, I'd kill these two nauseating creeps with a single strike...'
