Although their strength was impressive, Ye Tian didn't give them a second thought. 'Killing them would be incredibly easy. I wouldn't even need to use a terrifying skill like Gold Slash.'
The student who had been staring at Zhang Xinlan shifted his gaze to Ye Tian, his eyes filled with disdain. "Kid, I hear you're so kind of hotshot. Soone's looking for trouble with you, so they sent us to give you a proper 'welco.'"
"Just the two of you? Aren't you giving a little too much credit? Sending a couple of nobodies to 'welco' ? What gives you the right? Just because you're from the Advanced Class? If that's your reasoning, then you're seriously overestimating yourselves," Ye Tian retorted, his expression just as disdainful.
"I've t my share of braggarts, but I've never seen anyone blow hot air like you. Kid, we're here to take your life. Now you'll see who's really overestimating themselves!" one of the students shouted in anger.
"This is the academy. You dare try to kill here? Your nerve is sothing else! Honestly, I find that hard to believe," Ye Tian laughed. 'These two are already dead n.'
"The academy? HAHAHAHA! Once we kill you, we'll just leave. Don't even dream that soone will co to your rescue! If you must bla soone, bla yourself for being so arrogant! Try to be a little smarter in your next life!" the other student said.
"Enough with the chit-chat. Let's just kill him so we can get out of here. We've been at this academy for too long. It's ti to move on," the first student urged.
"Let give you two a better suggestion," Ye Tian said with a smile. "The wilderness survival exercise is coming up. Wouldn't it be better to kill in the Demon Beast Region? That way, it'll be a clean kill, no witnesses. If you do it here, you'll be punished by the academy. What makes you think you can just walk away? You really underestimate Linyuan Academy."
Hearing this, the two n froze. What Ye Tian said made sense. They didn't actually want to leave the academy. If it weren't for Sima Tianhai, they wouldn't have co to kill Ye Tian in the first place.
'What he's suggesting is actually a great idea. In the past, whenever students had a grudge, they'd settle it by killing their rival during the wilderness exercise. If soone dies out there, it's just assud a Demon Beast got them. That way, we wouldn't have to leave the academy.'
"Ye Tian, why would you suggest sothing like that? What are you scheming? Are you just trying to stall for ti?" one of the students asked.
"I'm not stalling. I'm looking out for you," Ye Tian said with a smile. "You're just cannon fodder for Sima Tianhai. He's the one I want to kill. Why do you need to be his scapegoats?"
"You're the one who's overestimating yourself, Ye Tian. It seems you already know the whole story. Your idea is clever, but the longer we wait, the more that can go wrong. It's better if you just die today," the other student said.
"You two had better think this through," Zhang Xinlan interjected. "This is the academy, and the classroom building is just up ahead. Do you really think you can kill Ye Tian so easily? Instructor Lin Ling could be here any second. If you're smart, you'll get lost. Otherwise, I'll tell the instructors you were trying to murder a student, and you'll face consequences you can't even imagine!"

"Ye Tian, rember your own words! The day of the wilderness exercise will be the day you die. Cherish your last few days! Let's go!" After saying this, the other student's figure flickered and vanished, moving with incredible speed.
An offhand remark to so, but to a keen listener, it was everything. While others might not know much about Zhang Xinlan, Ye Tian knew a little. He knew she ca from a special place: the Holy Land.

'Combined with the imnse power of the Four Veins Realm, her attacks would be nothing short of world-shaking.'
'I just don't understand why she ca to Linyuan Academy. Could it really be for ? It's so hard to wrap my head around. Still, I achieved my goal for today. Once we're in the Demon Beast Region, it'll be ti for those arrogant punks to die.'
"Boss, they're gone. Should we go check out the classroom building?" Zhou Xiang asked.
"You guys go ahead. I think Zhang Xinlan needs to talk to about sothing. I'll find you later," Ye Tian said.
