Ye Tian dispatched these Gale Wolves with ease. Even when their Wind Blades struck him, they had little effect. His powerful Defense Power completely blocked them.
Before long, he had slain every last Gale Wolf. Now, it was ti to harvest the Magic Crystals.
Gale Wolves were Wind Attribute Demon Beasts, a relatively rare type of Elental Demon Beast, and their Magic Crystals were crucial for Ye Tian. He had to obtain them to form the Wind Elental Pearl in his body.
Although the Energy from these Magic Crystals was scant, every little bit counted. After encountering more powerful Wind Elent Demon Beasts in the future, he would be able to absorb even better Wind Elental Magic Crystals.
Ye Tian slowly cut open the Gale Wolf carcasses to retrieve the Magic Crystals. The Gale Wolves truly didn't disappoint him. Out of the nearly ten he had opened up, six of them had Magic Crystals. This made Ye Tian quite happy; the haul was much better than from the Demon Beasts he had killed earlier.
"Look, soone's harvesting Magic Crystals. I can't believe he killed so many Gale Wolves. We have to go get a few of those!" At that mont, one of the two students who had heard the wolves' howls spotted Ye Tian carving up the Gale Wolf carcasses and said.
The voice wasn't loud, but with his Perception Power, Ye Tian heard it crystal clear. He glanced at the newcors out of the corner of his eye before returning to his work.
However, he already knew in his heart that these two were likely Interdiate Class students, their strength sowhere between the Second and Three Veins Realm. 'It seems they want to snatch the Gale Wolves I've killed, looking for a reward without putting in any of the work.'
Soon, the two arrived in front of Ye Tian. Seeing more than ten Gale Wolf carcasses still on the ground, one of them said, "Kid, we discovered these Gale Wolves first, but you went and killed them all. You've already gotten plenty of Magic Crystals. Isn't it ti you stopped?"
Only then did Ye Tian look up at the two and chuckle. "I'm the one who killed these Gale Wolves. If you want Magic Crystals, you'd better go look elsewhere. Or are you planning to rob and murder ? Don't forget the academy's rules for this event. That kind of thing is forbidden. If anyone finds out, it's a death sentence."
Having said his piece, Ye Tian went back to carving up a Gale Wolf carcass. He quickly retrieved another Magic Crystal, placed it in his Container Bag, and continued to ignore the two. Inwardly, however, Ye Tian was smirking.
'If these two don't know what's good for them, maybe I'll just have them share the sa fate as the Gale Wolves. Killing them would be easy enough.'
"Kid, are you deaf or sothing?" the other student said. "Scram now, or you'll be dead in the next instant. There are no other students here. We could kill you without anyone ever knowing."
Ye Tian stood up and smiled faintly. "You're the ones who should scram. The Gale Wolf carcasses are right here. If you want Magic Crystals, go ahead and take them! Get lost before I lose my temper, or you'll end up just like these Gale Wolves!"
"HAHAHAHA! Wang Kui, did you hear that?" the first student said. "This kid says he's going to make us end up like the Gale Wolves. What an ego! What do you do with soone this arrogant?"
"What else is there to do?" the other student said with a sneer. "Since he's courting death, we'll just have to grant his wish. Still, we should thank him for killing all these Gale Wolves for us. It saved us a lot of ti. You want to take him, or should I?"
Ye Tian's brow furrowed slightly. 'These guys are really pushing it.' He said, "Why don't you both co at at once? Let's see if you're any tougher than a Gale Wolf. It's been a while since I've killed anyone, and my hands are getting a little itchy."
Ye Tian's words instantly enraged the two. One of them snarled, "You're too arrogant, kid! Today, we'll show you the difference between the Basic Level Class and the Interdiate Class!"
"Oh, I'm so scared!" Ye Tian mocked with a laugh, not taking them seriously in the slightest. "Scared you might try to run away! Co on, show what you've got!"
"You're courting death!" The student could no longer hold back. A white Longsword appeared in his hand. Ye Tian glanced at it. 'A Spiritual Artifact Level Weapon, not bad at all.'
His figure blurred, leaving an afterimage as he charged Ye Tian. The white Longsword in his hand blood into an enormous flower of light, which then transford into several sharp streams of Sword Qi that shot toward Ye Tian.
Ye Tian, however, just stood there, completely motionless. He made no attempt to resist, as if he had been scared stiff by the powerful Sword Qi, allowing it to strike his body.
Ye Tian's move startled the other student. 'Is this kid an idiot? How could he do sothing so stupid? I can't believe he's going to be killed this easily.'
The student attacking Ye Tian, however, curled his lips into a malicious grin. 'He dares not to block my attack? He's as good as dead. He truly doesn't know his own limits!'
The Sword Qi struck Ye Tian. He was knocked back a few steps before he steadied himself. But then, sothing happened that astonished both students.
Ye Tian stood there, completely unscathed, a wide smile on his face. It was an eerie smile that made one's skin crawl.
"Such terrifying Defense Power!" the attacking student finally blurted out after staring at Ye Tian, dumbfounded. "How is it possible for him to just tank my Sword Qi attack?!"
"How is that possible? He just blocked it directly," the other student said. "Don't tell he has so kind of treasure that makes him immune to powerful attacks?"
"That's right, you guessed it!" Ye Tian said, still smiling. "But you won't get a chance to take the treasure on my body. Because you both have to die!"
'The Defense Power of his Divine Dragon Battle Body was truly satisfying. An attack from soone approaching the Three Vein Realm couldn't even break through his defense. If he had manifested his Dragon Scales, it would have been even more of a non-issue.'
"You think you can kill us? You're still wet behind the ears!" the student who had attacked Ye Tian said, refusing to back down. "Let's kill him together! Then his treasure and all the Magic Crystals will be ours!"
The two prepared to attack Ye Tian together, but he wasn't about to give them the chance. With a slight tremble of the Black Glaze Sword in his hand, his figure flashed like a phantom, leaving an afterimage as he lunged toward the student who had just attacked him.
Ye Tian's speed was imnse—so fast that before the student could even react, the Black Glaze Sword had pierced his heart. Ye Tian yanked it free and imdiately lunged toward the second student.
The other student was just as slow to react. He only saw an afterimage rushing toward him and instinctively raised his Longsword to block. But how could he possibly be a match for Ye Tian? His defense was utterly useless. Ye Tian's sword pierced his heart as well.
The student only felt a sharp, stabbing pain in his heart. He looked down to see a black sword protruding from his chest. In that instant, he understood everything, but it was already too late…
