"Haha! Did you guys see that? She actually wants to attack us. That's hilarious! A girl as weak as her thinks she can take us on?" one of the students roared with laughter.
"Looks can be deceiving. Still, that strike of hers had so power. She must have reached the Second Vein Power Realm! Since you look down on her so much, why don't you go play with her?" another student said with a smile.
Zhang Xinlan's face was devoid of expression. The longsword in her hand dipped slightly, and a wave of Sword Qi slowly drifted toward the student.
The strike looked deceptively casual. The air didn't tremble, and the Sword Qi moved sluggishly, appearing utterly feeble. One could only imagine how weak its Attack Power must be.
The student smirked and drew a longsword of his own, launching a casual strike at Zhang Xinlan. He didn't put much force into it, feeling that even this half-hearted effort would be more than enough.
Zhang Xinlan's Sword Qi reached the student in an instant. Only then did he feel a suffocatingly powerful Sword Qi materialize before him—an aura of death potent enough to claim his life at any mont.
The student finally understood. 'She's a wolf in sheep's clothing!' But it was too late for regrets, and far too late to dodge. Sweat instantly beaded on his forehead.

She had killed him in a single, casual move. The other two were too stunned to react. It took them several long breaths to realize the young woman before them was not nearly as simple as they had thought.
"You... you killed him?" one of the students stamred, still in shock. It was the first ti he had ever seen a friend die right before his eyes, and he couldn't quite accept the reality of it.
"I did. He deserved to die. And so do you," Zhang Xinlan said flatly. Her tone was so cold it felt as if the very air around them might freeze.
"It won't be that easy to kill us! She must have used so dirty trick when he wasn't looking. Since this woman is so ruthless, there's no need to go easy on her. We'll subdue her and have a little fun before we finish the job."
"She killed one of ours, so she has to die anyway. No need to hand her over to Brother Tianhai. It'll just cause trouble for him," the other student added.
"Good idea. Let's go together. I think there's sothing off about this woman. We should be careful," said the other student, his eyes locked on Zhang Xinlan.
"You will all die. Be patient. Your Brother Tianhai will die too. Anyone who dares to harm my husband must die," Zhang Xinlan declared.
"Husband? What husband? Who is he?" Her words made no sense to them, and one of the students asked for clarification.
"You're not worthy of knowing his na. Perhaps I'll tell Sima Tianhai who my husband is before he dies. That way, he can at least die without regrets," Zhang Xinlan said.
"Stop wasting your breath on her! Let's just subdue her!" one of them said. "My Enchanting Sand is incredibly potent. I'll show her what real power looks like."
As he spoke, a small black bottle appeared in his hand, and he quickly pulled the stopper.
Zhang Xinlan saw a red gas billowing from the bottle. 'It's obviously so kind of depraved substance. Sothing so vile has no right to exist in this world.'
With a single thought, the Spiritual Power within her body began to churn. She gave a slight wave of her hands, and the student was lifted from the ground. He flew into the air against his will, a look of agony twisting his face.
Then, Zhang Xinlan's own body slowly rose from the ground and floated into the air. This sight terrified the remaining two students. Not only could she control things from a distance, but she could also fly.
This was clearly the work of an expert who had mastered Spatial Power—a feat that required reaching the Five Vein Realm at a minimum. In other words, this woman had the strength of the Five Veins.

With nothing more than a wave of her hand, Zhang Xinlan had killed two people. The terrifying sight scared the last student half to death. He imdiately dropped to his knees.
"rcy, my lady! Please, spare my life! We were blind! We failed to recognize your greatness! Please, find it in your heart to forgive our ignorance!"
"Too late," Zhang Xinlan snarled. "You've seen my true power. Do you really think I'd let you live? Scum like you should have died long ago!"
"You can't do this! If the academy finds out you've been murdering students, you'll be punished! You won't get away with it!" the student said, his voice tight with fear.
"There's no one else here. Who's going to know? If you die, they'll just assu you were killed by a wild beast. So don't you worry about . I'll just do you a favor and send you on your way."
"Besides... weren't you the one who tried to kill Ye Tian? I forgot to ntion it, but Ye Tian is my husband. Did you really think I'd spare you? I've wasted enough ti talking. It's ti for you to go," Zhang Xinlan said.
With another flick of her wrists, the last student flew into the air. A mont later, he exploded into a mist of blood, leaving not even a bone behind.
Zhang Xinlan gave the scene one last glance before shooting a blast of frigid energy from her hand. In an instant, a radius of several dozen ters was transford into a frozen wasteland. Only then did she slowly turn and depart.
