"You are not qualified enough to know about that just yet. The karma of knowing such heavenly secrets is too great and burdenso. You’ll naturally understand all these profound things after attaining immortality." Tian Yongheng responded, waving his hand dismissively.
"Oh...I understand. I shall go back to plant the Bodhi Wisdom Tree and cultivate then, master. I’ll definitely not let you down!" Yan Jingfei bowed once again before leaving the cave abode with a bright smile on her face.
She had obtained really profound knowledge this ti round, so she was naturally extrely happy.
She wanted to know everything about the primordial tis!
Thinking that she’ll ask Tian Yongheng about more things later on as he recovered his cultivation.

An arrow pierced through the skin of a wild boar, making it sqeak out in excruciating pain.
It struggled and ran around in panic, trying to ease the pain for so ti.
*Thud!*
Soon enough, it fell to the ground with a loud sound.
As soon as it fell, a young man wearing untidy clothes ca out of hiding from a nearby bush, a wooden bow in his hands.
His face was dirty, and it was clear he hadn’t taken a bath for at least a couple of months. There were a few scars on both his body and face.
He was Lu Qingfeng.
Since the incident a few years ago, he had been living like this. His dantain had been shattered and he couldn’t use any Martial Arts, so he could only hunt so small animals like this wild boar that was only a few months old it seed.
His arrows had all been coated with deadly poison he collected from venomous snakes around this forest when he was still a Third-Rate Martial Artist, so he couldn’t get much by selling his hunts, not to ntion eating their at since their body would be filled with this deadly poison.
This wild boar could get him around a few weeks worth of food if he sold its whole body, which was really good for him.
It was really rare for him to be able to hunt sothing like this, and it only happened once a few months. Sotis, he had to go back to begging around the city because he couldn’t hunt anything worth much.
On the other hand, the tenth young master of the Lu Family had already beco a Martial Master and was declared to be the next head of the Lu Family, while the third young master beca very successful in his business.
Whenever Lu Qingfeng heard people praising either of them, he couldn’t help but feel his blood boil with rage.
However, Lu Qingfeng wasn’t just trying to survive all this while either. He had been secretly collecting information about Immortal Cultivators and the cultivation world that was hidden from the eyes of the mortal world.
Now, he knew that the world they were in wasn’t the only one in existence and that other dinsions such as the Upper Realm and the Myriad Worlds below existed, and that they were in the Lower Realm’s Second Great Mortal World.
The so-called ’Heaven’ of the mortal beings was just the hidden cultivation world of the Second Great Mortal World, and the Immortal Gods they worshipped weren’t actual Immortals, the real deities existed in the Upper Realm.
He also got to know that the Chu Dynasty was in a small corner of the Second Great Mortal World’s Eastern Continent, under the jurisdiction of a sect nad the Sword Seeking Sect where powerful Immortal Cultivators dwell.
This was too much information for him to bear, and he started to doubt his very own existence after knowing all that.
Actually, he had once accidently stumbled across a middle aged Second-rate Martial Artist, or to be precise, an Immortal Cultivator at the Fifth Level of Acupoint Opening Stage about a year ago.
He was a Rogue Cultivator whose master, a cultivator at the later stages of Qi Condensation Realm had died a decade ago and he was left to fend for himself. At that ti, he was only at the Third Level of Acupoint Opening Stage.
That cultivator was quite friendly to Lu Qingfeng as he was a re mortal who wasn’t even a Martial Artist. He told him everything he knew about the world of immortal cultivation and left a few months later on.
Since that person wasn’t strong enough to detect if Lu Qingfeng had any Spiritual Roots, he could only tell him about a special herb only cultivators knew about that could restore his dantain for practicing Martial Arts.
That cultivator could be considered a benefactor to Lu Qingfeng who had no hope left in his life.
Since that day, he had been searching for that herb secretly in hopes of being able to practice Martial Arts again and then search for a way to cultivate.
After coming back to the city and exchanging the corpse of the wild boar for so silver, he went to a small restaurant where only beggars or poor foreign rchants ca to eat.
"Look who we have here, our esteed lord Lu Qingfeng!"
Suddenly, a sarcastic remark ca from behind him.
Lu Qingfeng turned around, only to find Lu Cheng looking at him with a sly smirk on his face, his arms crossed.
Lu Cheng was a servant of the Lu Family’s third young master, and a forr acquaintance of Lu Qingfeng. He wasn’t well known as he only tended to the Third young master’s personal requests such as getting rid of soone he didn’t like.
"Why are you still in the Silver Dust City, no, why haven’t you yet left the Scorching Sun Province?" He asked coldly with a look of disdain on his face.
The Lu Martial Family could be considered the ruler of the entire Scorching Sun Province with the Silver Dust City being its capital. Most of the Chu Dynasty’s Martial Grandmasters were from the Lu Family, and they had beco the entire dynasty’s foundation as they existed even before the creation of the dynasty.
No one even dared to offend them, yet the inner competition of the family was so fierce that cases such as the tenth young master happened in every generation.
"...I still have 2 years of ti left before the deadline. I’ll leave the Scorching Sun Province by then." Lu Qingfeng replied in a low voice.
The reason why he was being oppressed right now was just the third young master trying to curry favor with the tenth young master.
Even though he had already given Lu Qingfeng 4 years of ti when he ousted him from the Lu Family to leave the province to preserve his dignity and appear magnanimous, he was constantly creating trouble for him so he could leave quicker.
Lu Cheng suddenly leaned closer to Lu Qingfeng’s ears and whispered quietly in a cold tone of voice, "I don’t wish to create a commotion here and sully the young master’s image, otherwise, you might’ve already been lying in a pool of blood with a cold corpse. Do not test my patience, Lu Qingfeng."
Lu Qingfeng shuddered at Lu Cheng’s words, unable to speak anything due to fear. Lu Cheng was a First-Rate Martial Artist, after all!
Lu Cheng then tapped Lu Qingfeng’s shoulder, and walked away without saying anything else.
Lu Qingfeng looked at him from behind, his thoughts racing.
