Did that little rat really leave? If not, then where is he? If I’m correct, he should be here at this ti round.

"Well, it’s good that he knows what’s the best for him." Saying this, Lu Cheng looked around for so more ti before leaving.

anwhile, Lu Qingfeng had already sprinted all the way into the forest.

"Haah...hahh.." His legs trembled as he collapsed to the ground, panting heavily. Unknowingly, he had already traveled very deep into the forest, and the howls of big animals could be heard every now and then.

At this mont, he suddenly heard a loud roar from behind him. He turned around, only to see a tiger more than 2 ter big staring at him nacingly.

Imdiately afterwards, the tiger launched another attack on him, but before it could actually manage to land a hit on him, it suddenly paused and looked up in the air.

A flash of thunder appeared in the eyes of Lu Qingfeng, and the tiger was reduced to ashes on the spot.

Extrely shocked, he looked up to see a clear sky with no clouds whatsoever and the sun shining down, a gracious figure on a flying sword looking down at him with a chain made of pure lightning wrapping around her left hand.

Seeing her, the only word Lu Qingfeng could think of was: beautiful. As beautiful as a fairy. The sunlight shone down on her face and body, highlighting her looks and making her look like a fairy who had descended down from the high heavens.

Her long black hair flowed down to her waist, her brown eyes shining, but it seed as if they were hiding many great secrets behind them.

She was Yan Jingfei!

Lu Qingfeng was stunned and srized by her. He couldn’t even think straight after seeing her.

Suddenly, she ca down with her flying swords and landed in front of him, snapping Lu Qingfeng out of it.

"Ah...tha-thank you for saving , f-fairy!" He stuttered from sheer nervousness, though there was gratitude in his eyes.

Yan Jingfei on the other hand couldn’t help but widen her eyes in shock when she saw him.

This mortal...there is sothing special about him, sothing that even I can’t detect!

"Do you...belong to any cultivation faction?" She asked calmly and carefully, studying him from the corner of her eyes.

"No...I’m a forr servant of the Lu Martial Family, but I was kicked out after I accidently offended a powerful figure within the family..they even killed my parents..." Lu Qingfeng answered honestly, his head down in sorrow.

Hearing his words, Yan Jingfei felt a little bit pitiful at his situation, but it didn’t affect her much since this was pretty normal in the cultivation world.

This once again showed how cruel was the world of Immortal Cultivation and how many dangers lied ahead in the path to godhood.

"Would you like to co with instead then? My master may even accept you as his disciple. But even if he does not, I can guarantee you won’t regret it either way." She smiled slightly at him, making sure to remain as friendly as possible.

Hearing her say that, Lu Qingfeng’s eyes widened in shock.

"Let’s go then!" She said in a firm tone of voice, and flew away on her flying sword with Lu Qingfeng.

Suddenly, he closed the manual and looked around, then took out a small black box from his robe.

The box shook slightly, pulling Lu Sheng’s consciousness inside of it.

He was stunned for a mont, but he imdiately got excited as he asked inside of his mind,
