The appearance of this unknown Devil was completely beyond Liora’s expectations.
Although she had predicted that the Slave Lord would possess so kind of trump card in order to dare to confront her, she had never expected such a thing.
In her opinion, being able to gather six True Devils and having the ability to integrate their power was already more than enough.
However, she was obviously wrong.
"Greater Devil.", she muttered subconsciously the mont she saw the unknown Devil.
Coupled with Alpha’s earlier reminder, while they were still in the city, she imdiately guessed this person’s identity.
Clearly, he was Duke Bloodflower, the person in charge of Bloodflower City and a famous Greater Devil.
Perhaps more importantly, however, he was the main body of the six Lords of the city.
That’s right.
The mont Liora saw them appear together, she realized that whether it was Kazrien, the Slave Lord, or even the Violence Lord, they were all the sa person.
For a second, the thought of escaping arose within her.
However, before she had the chance to do so, Duke Bloodflower had already struck.
Wielding the miniature city as a weapon, he fired a barrage of cannonballs in her direction.
Though each projectile was tiny, Liora instantly noticed their power.
Each of them possessed the ability to seriously hurt a True Devil, and when together, it was easy for them to kill such a being.
If she were to face them head-on, even Liora would be in trouble.
Unfortunately, their speed was as extraordinary as their power.
Liora had no chance to evade and activate Null Step, even with her current combat power.
Countless thoughts raced through her mind, trying to think of a way to deal with such an attack.
Ultimately, she felt she had no other choice.
"It seems that I can only use that.", she thought, and pieces of information erged in her mind.
Before she ca to this place, Liora had managed to extort several items from the Bloodflower City’s six Lords.
One part was the cores of True Devil Fire Elentals, which she had used to strengthen her Elental Affinity, while the other part was two portions of World Origin.
Similar to the cores, Liora had not kept them in her collection for no reason. Instead, she had used the World Devourer thod to digest them and strengthen herself.
Their contribution, coupled with her own efforts over the past few days, had allowed Liora to reach the 2nd Level of this Devil Technique.
Just like before, her overall strength had increased, while at the sa ti, she had awakened a brand new ability.
Virtualization—this was its na, and although its function was complicated, it happened to perfectly match its use.
The mont the information regarding this ability erged, Liora hastily activated it.
Her mind connected with a faraway place, the Land of Nothingness, and she used their connection to summon so of that place’s power.
Unlike the previous tis, when the Nothingness had descended into the world around her, this ti, it descended directly into her body.
Other people, even True Devils, would have been instantly killed if they faced such a situation.
Fortunately, Liora’s training had granted her relative immunity towards Nothingness, and she thus suffered no harm.
Instead, a strange change began to occur.
As if influenced by the insubstantial power of Nothingness, her cells began to transform.
They turned immaterial, as if they had jumped into a higher dinsion, becoming unreachable by normal ans in the process.
In the outside world, her transformation was quite obvious, too.
Her body turned illusory, rippling as if it were the surface of a lake.
Liora’s transformation seed complicated. But from the mont she reacted to the mont Virtualization was activated, less than a second had passed.
Evidence of this was that although the cannonballs had gotten closer, they had yet to reach her location.
Though they were actually extrely close by now. Or to be more accurate, they had traversed ninety-nine percent of the distance between them.
The mont Liora’s body turned virtual, the thousands of projectiles finally arrived.
As if they existed in a different dinsion, they passed straight through the figure without harming her, landing on the land below her instead.
Both the aftermath and Liora’s own figure were concealed by the rapidly flickering lights, making it impossible for one to detect the final outco.
Affected by the blow’s power, other people’s consciousness was unable to investigate this place.
Only Liora, who stood at the very epicenter of the attack yet remained intact, was able to spread her consciousness around.
She didn’t rush to erge, but instead remained motionless, waiting for the opportunity to co.
And that opportunity soon ca.
Before long, she felt an extrely powerful aura reach her location.
Her eyes flickered. After a brief mont of hesitation, she made a decision.
A halberd made of Nothingness ford in her hands once again, and when the Duke had gotten close enough, she rushed out.
With a flicker, she appeared in the air, above the clueless Greater Devil. Her demonic energy surged while her muscles tensed violently.
However, as if she felt that this was not enough, her eyes shone with ruthlessness. The Myriad Devils Body was activated under her control, further boosting her own strength.
Her body cracked while her veins began to pop like broken threads, as if she were a balloon that was about to explode.
Liora ignored all of these, however.
Her eyes reflected Duke Bloodflower’s towering figure, and without hesitation, she smashed the halberd onto his giant head.
At the sa ti, Eclipse was activated, forming a sphere of Nothingness above her head. Similarly to the halberd, it also fell down like a collapsing mountain.
The gap between those who had reached the Greater Devil stage and those who hadn’t was truly massive.
If Lesser Devils could theoretically consu a True Devil to death, then it was impossible for a Greater Devil to suffer such a fate.
However, Liora’s ergence ca out of nowhere.
Because of his confidence and current situation, Duke Bloodflower had let down his guard and hadn’t taken any precautions against any sneak attacks.
Thus, even as the halberd and the sphere fell, he had yet to react.
