In the dark void in the depths of the inheritance palace, two Lioras could be seen.
One of them was seated on the floor, and her consciousness had dived into her soul space, while the other one stood on the side, staring at her intently.
The two bodies shared the sa mories and were the exact sa person.
As such, even the body in the outside world could see the predicant that the clone was facing.
"Indeed. The World Devourer Ancestor is more terrifying than imagined."
"It was the correct decision to wait for so long and make sufficient preparations before advancing."
Liora knew that if she had tried to open her True Spirit Gate when she first advanced, her fate would have been sealed.
Let alone defeating the World Devourer Ancestor, even escaping would have been impossible, and the opponent’s plan would have succeeded.
"Fortunately, I have always been cautious.", Liora muttered before taking her seat beside her clone.

As it raised its head, it stared at the space above its head with a thoughtful look.
Just like the clone, Liora now also faced a massive gate hovering above her.
Due to the clone’s efforts, more than ninety percent of it had been opened, revealing that the two True Spirit Gates were synced.
However, this wasn’t what concerned Liora the most.
The mont her eyes landed on the gate, her gaze scanned over it carefully.
Before long, a smile couldn’t help but form on her face.
Her plan had worked!
The World Devourer Ancestor was indeed not there!
Clearly, the opponent could at most parasitize one of the True Spirit Gates at a ti.
Attracted by her clone’s movents and having never expected Liora to divide herself into two, the opponent had appeared over there to stop her.
Sensing the attacks of the miasma faced by the clone beco fiercer, Liora didn’t hesitate. The World Devourer Ancestor had obviously discovered her ploy.
She didn’t have much ti. Her clone could only hold on for so long under the opponent’s desperate attacks.
With a flicker, Liora appeared in front of the True Spirit Gate.
Then, just like she had done in the past, she shoved against it.
Without the World Devourer Ancestor’s interference, the rest was easy.
In just a few seconds, the True Spirit Gate was fully open.
Liora sensed a power feedback coming from behind the gate, elevating her strength even further.
However, she knew that now was not the ti to be imrsed in this.
Her advancent to an Archdevil was far from complete.
Liora imdiately stepped into the gate.
The mont her right foot landed, she seed to have appeared in another space, leaving the soul space behind her.
Around her was only a bottomless darkness, with only a small golden light on the distant horizon, seemingly illuminating the way forward.
Liora did not linger.
She wasn’t surprised by her arrival here.
Knowing that the World Devourer Ancestor was bound to break free soon, she understood that she could not stop to admire it.
Flashing forward, she swiftly cut through the darkness and approached the light.
Fortunately, her power was not affected by this space.
Only a short while later, Liora reached the golden light, and its real appearance was finally revealed.
It was a small fla, growing on top of a large gray seed.
The fla flickered constantly and wrapped around the seed like a film, as if it were using it for its own nourishnt.
There was no explanation for this scene.
Any other person who ca here would be left stunned, not knowing what it represented or what they should do.
Thankfully, Liora had long digested her relevant bloodline mories and understood everything.
Without any hesitation, she approached the fla and reached out with her right hand.
While doing so, information couldn’t help but resurface in her mind.
"The gray seed represents my World Devourer bloodline. On the other hand, the fla represents myself."
"The two are inexplicably linked since I beca a Young Devil."
"If I want to advance, I have to separate them."
"As long as I reach inside, take out my True Spirit and bring it into my soul space, my advancent will be complete."
Realizing that she was now closer than ever to becoming an Archdevil, a hint of excitent flashed in Liora’s eyes.
Her right hand stretched into the fla and quietly reached towards its center.
The blazing flas did not harm her.
If anything, Liora felt a cooling sensation upon coming into contact with them, as if they could nourish her soul.
"The flas are a representation of myself after all."
"Other people might be hard upon touching them, but for , their power is nothing.", she concluded silently as her hand stretched further inside.
A few seconds later, her eyes lit up. She seed to have discovered what she was seeking.
Retracting her hand, a small golden light was revealed on top of her palm. Her body and this light resonated, as if the two were the missing parts of each other.
As the light was removed, the fla began to dissipate. Having lost its source of power, it vanished soon after.
Liora, however, did not pay attention to this.
Seemingly knowing that she didn’t have ti to waste, she turned around and rushed towards the True Spirit Gate in the distance.
As long as she passed through it and brought her True Spirit out, her advancent would be complete.
She would finally be able to beco an Archdevil!
However, before Liora could take the first step, a familiar eerie chuckle rang in her ears and stunned her.
Right behind her, the seed began to squirm.
Gray miasma grew out of it and settled on its surface, which soon took the shape of a familiar human-like face.
The face’s lips curved into a terrifying smile before its mouth opened and it spoke.
"Hahaha! It’s a success!"
"After so long, my plan has succeeded!", its eerie laughter spread.
The World Devourer Ancestor didn’t give Liora any ti to react.
The mont their words fell, countless tentacles erged and wrapped around her.
The attacks were even more terrifying than the ones faced by the clone.
Carrying power faintly beyond the Archdevil stage, the tentacles wrapped around Liora’s body and subrged her.
