"Victor, you should bring Edward here to manage the household," Amber suggested as she freshened up.
"Edward, huh?" Victor raised an eyebrow at her words and pondered for a mont before nodding. "You are right. I will bring Edward here next ti... no, wait, I will bring him here right now along with a few guards."
Amber blinked at Victor’s words, and the next mont a portal appeared as Victor vanished from his place. The very next second, he returned with a bewildered Edward.
---
Ga World
"Sigh, nothing beats having a cup of tea with so cookies." Edward, who was in his room and wearing his casual outfit instead of his butler uniform, was sipping tea.
Woosh
"What!" Edward exclaid and bolted up from his seat like a startled cat when he saw a portal appear right inside his room.
"Huh, Lord Victor?" Edward was dumbfounded to see Victor suddenly erge from the portal. Without giving him any chance to ask questions, Victor grabbed him.
"Co with ."
"Wait, Lord Victor, let at least change my dr—" Edward’s voice died down as he was swallowed by the portal.
---
Back in the Real World
"Lord Victor, where have you brought ?" Edward had a confused expression on his face as he held a cup of coffee in one hand and a cookie in the other. Victor had appeared out of nowhere without any explanation and brought him to this strange place.
The mont he stepped out of the portal, his brows imdiately furrowed.
"What in the heavens... why is the mana density so low?"
Edward said in disbelief as he felt that the mana density was so poor that not even the most backward regions of the Kingdom of Eindrik had such low-quality mana.
"If anyone on Earth heard your words, Edward, they would definitely want to beat you black and blue," Amber chid in from the side as she rolled her eyes. Then she looked at Victor. "Seriously, you should have at least given him ti to eat."
"Miss Amber, what is Earth?" Edward asked in a bewildered tone. Then his expression changed as he turned to Victor. "Lord Victor, this isn’t a different kingdom, right? You didn’t sneak into another kingdom to rob them blind, did you?"
Edward looked at Victor with excitent, awe, and respect.
"..."
Victor.
’What kind of person am I in your eyes?’ Victor cursed inwardly as he looked at his loyal butler speechlessly.
He glanced at Amber, and his eyebrows twitched when he saw her holding back her laughter. He snorted when he noticed her averting her eyes.
"Actually, Edward, this isn’t a different kingdom but an entirely different world," Victor said after clearing his throat.
Edward looked at Victor with even greater confusion.
"I’m afraid I don’t understand, Lord Victor," Edward said.
Victor sighed, then looked at Edward and started explaining everything to him. By the end of his explanation, Edward was rendered speechless, and his jaw nearly dropped to the floor.
Gulp.
"Lord Victor, are you serious?" Edward asked after calming his turbulent heart and could not help but sneak glances at his surroundings.
"Do you think I am joking?" Victor said with narrowed eyes, and Edward imdiately shut his mouth.
’No wonder the mana density is so low. This is a newly evolved world... this is an opportunity. If we could bring our army here, we could easily conquer this place, which must be full of resources,’ Edward thought as various plans began to erge in his mind.
"Lord Victor, do you want to bring the army and conquer this place? It should be very easy," Edward said with an excited glint in his eyes
Victor almost choked on his saliva and rolled his eyes as he thought, ’Tsk, all NPCs are the sa, always thinking about conquering things.’
"Hmm, not really, but you have given a good idea, Edward. Select so loyal soldiers whom I will make join my guild," Victor paused before speaking thoughtfully.
"Guilds?" Edward had question marks floating in his head, he could not make heads or tails of this word.
"I will talk about that later. In the anti—"
Victor was about to say sothing but paused when a notification appeared on his retina.
[Akashic Records has given the host exclusive permission.]
[Host can directly set a portal between the real world and the ga world anywhere he desires.]
Victor’s pupils constricted to the size of pinpricks, and his heart started to race. He quickly cald himself down as he thought, ’If it were soone else, they would have already invaded and enslaved this world.’
NPCs could only enter Earth after the ga world and Earth rged into a single planet, but now Victor had gained an exclusive passageway to transport his army.
[All NPCs that enter through the portal will be granted a completely genuine Identity Card from the Akashic Records.]
Victor looked at the text in bewildernt and then complained inwardly, ’Are you pranking , Akashic Records? If that was the case, why did I even bother forging a fake identity for Amber?’
"Follow ," Victor said to Edward and Amber.
They looked at each other and followed Victor.
After walking for so ti, they arrived at the basent.
Victor waved his hand, and a purple portal appeared in the basent.
"This is..." Amber’s eyes widened.
She looked at Victor, who nodded.
"Edward, this is a portal that connects the Silvermoon Territory with my mansion. Select so soldiers for now to guard the mansion. We will need more after I open the guild," Victor instructed.
Edward nodded.
"You can count on ," Edward said seriously while looking at the portal with excitent.
"Catch."
Victor tossed him a card.
"This is your identity card. You need this to walk around freely here."
"I understand," Edward said in a solemn tone.
"Anyway, you take care. I am going to take Amber to the World Awakeners Academy," Victor said as he left the house with Amber in his newly purchased car.
