All four of them ran with all of their might, as the two colossal surges of power spread through the surrounding area, an invisible clash of power already occurring between Sophia and the Death Knight, before the real clash would begin.

And they must not remain within even a kiloter of radius from the center of that fight, otherwise they might just get killed by so stray attack. Not knowing how they had died. Using all of their energy, they ran and ran, and ran like madn without stopping in the slightest.

Eventually, they barely managed to get out of the range of the fight, and in the monts after. Two violent clashes of dark forces collided, spreading pure devastation that shook the very grounds. Jaden only glanced back once, terror still evident in his heart; no amount of logic could explain how the valkyrie could fight a peak 4th phase undead being as a re initial 2nd phase Seeker.

Though he had no idea how well the valkyrie was faring against the knight, he could only hope for the miracle of humanity to continue and do her job, even before fulfilling her full potential; she was already protecting humanity—no wonder the human race had been surviving on the shoulders of such heaven-defying entities.

Entities that broke all laws and the balance of the world will. She was more monster than a human, more monster than monster, and such a heaven-defying monster is exactly what humanity needs. After all, to face a swarm of monsters, what you need is a bigger and badder monster.

Another worrying thought seeped into the head of the genius strategist; even now, they couldn’t see their fellow students where they were supposed to be. Worry gripped their hearts and tightened at the worst possibility: what if the undead that the principal was fighting left a few attacks in hiding, what if that undead succeeded in killing the principal?

What if they were all killed? The possibility of Axel putting up an anti-detection barrier did cross the mind of Jaden, but for so reason, he felt that wasn’t it. His suspiciousness towards Axel Nomrad did not ease that worry but added to it instead.

And the mont when they reached that place, there was... nothing.

Heinz’s eyes flashed in terror, just thinking about Vyra and Axel being gone, threatened to break his very, very spirit. Just as he was about to drop to his knees, with tears gathering in his eyes, a figure walked through an invisible veil, a veil which they could not sense, despite it being right in front of their faces. The one who ca out was obviously Axel.

Heinz rushed towards his friend, pulling him into a hug without a second of thought. Axel remained expressionless; no emotion could be read on his face, nor did he speak any words. Heinz said in a trembling voice, "I thought... of the worst possibility for a mont. If an attack like that had..."

He did not need to finish the sentence, but everyone understood what he was trying to convey. The shaking of his voice was proof of how terrified he was just monts ago.

Heinz separated from the hug and asked another question in worry, not realizing the unnerving silence from Axel, "Vyra? Is she ok? Why did you put up an invisibility barrier? Everyone is ok, right?"

Axel then showed a reassuring smile as he stated, "Don’t worry, she is ok. I put up this barrier just in case sothing like that happens again, though it won’t be able to do much. It’s still better than nothing."

Heinz gave out a reluctant nod, not completely understanding his logic, but just relieved that what he feared did not co to pass. The others looked at each other, unsure of how to respond. Jaden’s eyes watched every minor action of Axel like a hawk, feeling sothing wasn’t right.

Jaden’s intuition was extrely sharp because it wasn’t just intuition, but rather his subconscious mind picking up clues and details that he couldn’t hold and process on the conscious level.

Just as he was about to say sothing, another person beat him to it. Heinz spoke with a deep frown, "Wait, Axel, why is there such a pungent stench of blood on you?"

The warlord aspect holder stated it without much thought; perhaps he had failed even to imagine the real monster his best friend truly was beneath that handso façade.

But in the very next second, Heinz’s eyes widened as he looked his friend in the eye; the last thing he saw in his best friend’s eyes was regret.

Then a massive electrical shock went into his brain, as the warlord aspect holder was knocked unconscious. Followed by that, Enrick and Thorian’s bodies dropped to the ground as well, with the sa electrical shock overloading their brains.

Only Jaden remained standing; Axel did not understand why the Redmar’s heir was still standing. Jaden roared in rage, "What do you think you’re doing, Axel Nomrad?"

Axel did not address that question but only asked in return, "So, you’re that good at controlling you’re internal and external energy, huh?"

Jaden asked again, backing away, his voice rising louder, "Are you a traitor as well? I knew there was sothing off about you from the start."

"What the fuck are you after, you monster?" he asked in desperation, ready to fight him with his very life if necessary.

Axel appeared in a flash right behind Jaden, and the genius strategist was ready for it as well, not letting Axel knock him out just like that. Jaden resisted for a while, but eventually, he could not keep up with the colossal strength that Axel commanded and was knocked out like everyone else.

He stood there in silence for a small mont, looking in the distance at the flashes of destruction that followed between Sophia and the Death Knight. Moving his eyes away from that destructive battle, he started to control his mana, making the unconscious bodies levitate. He brought all of them inside the invisible doom barrier.

Dropping the bodies gently on the ground, he uttered, "Pri Nexus, I wish to use the favors which they all owe , for making the rune tools."

By them, he was ntioning Heinz, Thorian, Enrick, Jaden, and Lumina—only these five.

The emotionless voice of the pri resounded the sa in his ears, [Please state your request?]

He answered the sa as what he said for Prince Lucien, "I want.... all of the records of my existence erased from their mories."

{Note - Sa as what he requested from Prince Lucien - on Chapter 350.}

[The other parties of the contract are unconscious and are unable to decide on it.]

[Evaluating...evaluating...evaluating....]

[As per the terms of the contract, it does not directly violate any clauses or harm the other party directly, and as ’THEY’ are not in a condition to decide on the favor demanded within 10 seconds. The request of Axel Nomrad, the requester, shall be granted.]

[Enacting on the requested favor as per the agreent between Heinz Gil, Thorain Blackvale, Enrick Samartan, Jaden Redmar, Lumina Suncrest, and Axel Nomrad.]

All five of the individuals began to writhe and froth on the ground, vibrating and their muscles tightening uncontrollably, from the pain they were feeling for the stripping of their mories, from their mind and soul. This went on for a few minutes, until there were no more movents from them, followed by the notification of the contract’s fulfillnt.

[Your favor has been granted.]

[The contract has been fulfilled with no breach of any clauses from either party of the contract.]

[All the mories they had of the one nad ’Axel Nomrad’ have been erased; other mories have been altered so as not to feel the gap they have within their mories because of such erasure.]

Axel clenched his fists, gritting his teeth, pain in every inch of his mind. With a hardened heart, he approached Gareth’s charred body. Like a flicker of fla trying to fight against an unending storm, there was no hope for him. At least, not through any standard thod, that is, Axel bent down. Putting a hand on him.

The ghastly laughter of the Dread Warden Eryndor continued to grow louder and louder. Sophia looked back one last ti; they had gone far enough. But not far enough to be entirely out of the range which this battle would cover.

With the crimson twin swords in both of her hands, she felt another massive boost in power. As well as the increase in her battle prowess. Sophia walked forward, each step asured and careful. She slowly saw the silhouette of the ghost knight beco visible in her vision, erging from the fire, but there was no armor on the knight’s body, only the massive sword in its hand.

The skeleton knight was entirely covered in blue fire, but there were a good number of injuries on its skeletal body; multiple spots on the ribcages of the skeleton were broken and cracked. Yet now, the knight looked more nacing than ever before.

The death knight had lost its powerful armor, effectively losing its automatic protection against many powerful attacks. That also ant one more thing: from now on, the knight would not hold back, not even in the slightest.

Eryndor proclaid thunderously, "Co, Valkyrie, let us settle this once and for all. Let’s see who will co out of this alive: it will be you, the miracle of humanity, or , the Dread Warden of the 24th ghost legion.

"It would be decided right here and now, once and for all."
