Li Shuo finally figured out why he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity when he first t Lin Siqi and Lin Pengfei! It was because just last month, both of them had followed Zhang Beixing into the police station, and he had personally taken them there!

Li Shuo’s lips twitched. For a mont, he was utterly speechless.
Hearing his exclamation, Chief Bai, who was standing beside him, looked sowhat stunned. He glanced at Li Shuo and then at Zhang Beixing, who was resting not far away. Chief Bai raised his eyebrows slightly and asked, "Xiao Li, do you know this young comrade?"
Li Shuo’s eyelids twitched, and he nodded. More than just acquaintances? Hell, they were practically buddies!
Up to now, Li Shuo had encountered Zhang Beixing three tis. Recalling each of their encounters, Li Shuo noticed a bizarre thing—all their etings happened for the sa reason, and even the timing was almost identical!
Their first encounter occurred two months ago, around mid-April. Zhang Beixing, defending a classmate, had fought with so hooligans and entered the police station for the first ti, making Li Shuo’s acquaintance.
The second ti was on May 8th, in front of the North China Food City. Zhang Beixing got into a fight because Lin Pengfei provoked him. Onlookers called the police, and Li Shuo personally ca to arrest them, landing them in the station again.
Today was June 8th, and it marked their third eting!
This ti, Zhang Beixing hadn’t ended up in the police station. Instead, he had chased human traffickers all the way into the mountains, fought them, and knocked out all ten or so of them cold.
Dude, are you so kind of damn honey badger? Fighting wherever you go, huh! And this timing of yours, are you sure you’re not deliberately ssing with by picking these dates? Causing trouble once a month, and each incident is bigger than the last. Damn it, are you trying to ascend to the heavens or sothing?
Watching Zhang Beixing, Li Shuo thought these things, completely unable to calm down.
Zhang Beixing, having heard Li Shuo’s exclamation, looked over. Upon seeing Li Shuo’s face clearly, he burst into laughter, then exclaid in almost the sa tone as Li Shuo, "Is that you? Chatterbox! Damn, I can’t believe I ran into you here again. This is the third ti, right?"
"Good to know you rember, kid," Li Shuo said, noticeably relaxing now that he recognized Zhang Beixing as an old acquaintance. He walked over to chat with him. "Are you trying to unlock achievents with ? Getting into trouble on the eighth of every month, is that it? So, what’s the story today? Running into the mountains after traffickers? That was quite bold of you. Weren’t you afraid sothing would go wrong?"
Hearing this, Zhang Beixing chuckled. "Man, there’s nothing to fear. I know kung fu, you know that. Besides, they’re just a bunch of traffickers. They might look fierce, but a few punches and they quiet right down!"
"Ah, this..." Li Shuo looked at the group of traffickers and couldn’t help but nod. "Indeed!"
They certainly were subdued. Having been beaten by Zhang Beixing, not a single one of them had regained consciousness yet.
Nearby, seeing the two chatting so naturally, Chief Bai beca even more puzzled. He stepped forward and asked Li Shuo what exactly was going on.
Li Shuo didn’t beat around the bush and directly recounted everything that had happened between him and Zhang Beixing.
Upon learning that Zhang Beixing was actually a frequent visitor to their Shishi police station, even Chief Bai was taken aback for a mont. He was at a loss for words until, finally, he managed to choke out a single word: "Incredible!"
Truly incredible!
Long ago, there was Dayu, who, while taming the floods, passed his own ho three tis without entering. Now, there was Zhang Beixing, who got into trouble and entered the police station three tis without facing punishnt. They even had to give Zhang Beixing an award for his actions today, offering high praise and encouragent for what he had done.
There was certainly sothing outrageous about all of this!
Knowing that Zhang Beixing and Li Shuo had a history, Chief Bai decided to let Li Shuo take a brief statent from Zhang Beixing to get a general understanding of what had transpired. He himself stepped aside to call his superiors and report the situation.
As for Lin Siqi and Lin Pengfei, they stood quietly by, listening with amazed expressions as Zhang Beixing calmly recounted his tense and thrilling experience tracking the traffickers just a short while ago. Clearly, they hadn’t expected Zhang Beixing to face so many dangers during that half-hour pursuit.
Lin Siqi’s heart ached even more for Zhang Beixing.
Lin Pengfei, on the other hand, felt increasingly that acknowledging Zhang Beixing as his big brother was absolutely worthwhile!
He’s truly incredible! Single-handedly manipulating an entire gang of traffickers, running circles around them. Even in the end, he was the one who subdued the entire group. If I could just learn a move or two from Zhang Beixing, even if I wasn’t as amazing as him, it would be enough for to strut around school!
Watching Zhang Beixing, Lin Pengfei’s mind began to churn with ideas.
Not long after, Li Shuo led Zhang Beixing over to the group of unconscious traffickers. Zhang Beixing began to identify them, pointing out who the leader was, who the driver was, and so on.
It was right then.
