Chapter 466: Ji Yunlong Isn’t Dead
This... this golden light... it’s too miraculous...
What on earth is Lin Feng doing?
...
It took a good while for Ding Wan’er and Leng i to co to their senses that Lin Feng was treating Qian Duoduo’s injuries. They hurriedly used gauze to clean the blood and fluids oozing from Qian Duoduo’s square-shaped wound, wiping away as it seeped out.
However, both of them occasionally caught sight of golden clouds swirling within Qian Duoduo’s abdon, clueless about what Lin Feng was doing to her.
...
After so indeterminable amount of ti, Lin Feng finally opened his eyes. The past while had been exhausting; his attention fully fixated, he strained to direct his True Qi to help Qian Duoduo repair her damaged organs. This slow healing process couldn’t be rushed and had to be done bit by bit, a single lapse could be dangerous, so Lin Feng had not dared to be careless, fully focusing on channeling the Exclusive Supre Soaring Decree.
Only when he felt that Qian Duoduo’s organs were not at risk of any major issues did Lin Feng gradually retract his True Qi. Ti couldn’t be wasted, so amidst the astonished stares of Ding Wan’er and Leng i, he rapidly stitched up Qian Duoduo’s wound and applied a special adhesive tape to prevent infection and the wound from reopening.
Having done all this, Lin Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief, although he couldn’t help but take an additional couple of glances at the nearly **** Qian Duoduo on the operating table, finding it rather awkward. Snapping back to reality, he noticed Ding Wan’er and Leng i watching him, making the atmosphere feel sowhat off, thus he casually said, "You two should hurry up and find so clothes for her to wear, there’s nothing more to worry about now."
Lin Feng’s face remained unchanged, his tone devoid of any embarrassnt, as if what had just taken place had nothing to do with him, when in fact, only he knew his true thoughts.
Having said that, Lin Feng then turned and walked out. It wasn’t appropriate for him to stay any longer while Qian Duoduo was getting dressed. Saving a life had necessitated the disregard for differences in gender, but now the situation required him to step aside lest Ding Wan’er and Leng i would surely...
Clothe her? Duoduo’s wounds have healed!
Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, Ding Wan’er and Leng i imdiately felt joyous. While Lin Feng was treating Qian Duoduo, they had dared not speak a word, fearing they might interrupt Lin Feng’s concentration on healing Duoduo. They had known Lin Feng’s dical skills were phenonal, but they never dread he could use such an inconceivable thod of treatnt. Qian Duoduo had indeed been brought back from the brink of death by Lin Feng.
Both won thought alike, if Lin Feng went to such lengths to save Qian Duoduo’s life, then if they were ever in danger, there would certainly be no problem, with Lin Feng around, they could stop worrying about such matters.
However, both Ding Wan’er and Leng i suddenly rembered Lin Feng looking at Qian Duoduo’s body, their cheeks flushing as they exchanged glances with a smile and quickly found surgical attire to put on Qian Duoduo in the operating room. They shifted her off the operating table and wheeled her out of the room.
Wang Xu and Sun Ping had no other ergency patients to attend to, so they had been waiting outside all along. They had not expected to wait a full two hours before seeing Lin Feng erge from the operating room, and they imdiately approached him.
"Mr. Lin, inside..."
"Mr. Lin, you’ve worked hard."
Seeing Lin Feng looking sowhat fatigued, they promptly expressed their concerned greetings. However, the patient’s condition was their main concern. Last ti, Mr. Lin had only taken half an hour to handle a patient on the brink; this ti, it had taken two hours. What... what was the outco? As veteran doctors, they had been completely helpless with this patient. Was it truly beyond redemption?
"She’ll co out in a mont. Prepare a high-quality hospital room for ; the rest will be managed with a hospital stay and quiet recovery," Lin Feng inford the two doctors who were concerned for Qian Duoduo’s safety, directing them to prepare the hospital room at that ti.
"Right away, I’ll take care of it. Sun Ping, you stay here, and in a mont, take them directly to the 9th floor’s hospital room. There, we have Vice Dean Zhao’s reserved special care rooms. If we can use the operating room for Mr. Lin, there’s certainly no issue with the special care room," said Wang Xu, upon hearing Lin Feng’s request, promptly agreed to take care of it. He arranged for Sun Ping to stay behind and wait to escort them to the 9th floor, while he imdiately went to notify Vice Dean Zhao. Barring any unforeseen issues, there certainly would be no problem.
But as he ran, his heart was filled with incessant shock. He was well aware of the patient’s condition just now; she was barely clinging to life, her injuries so severe that both he and Sun Ping dared not touch her for fear of accidentally causing her to breathe her last. Both of them had thought for sure she wouldn’t survive...
Yet, with such grievous wounds, she was miraculously saved by Mr. Lin’s hands. Truly deserving of his national reputation, his dical skills are indescribably magical—only Mr. Lin could heal such injuries; no other doctor possesses such abilities!
Equally, Sun Ping now looked at Lin Feng with nothing but admiration. If it hadn’t been for Lin Feng, that female patient would have definitely lost her life right here—no one else could have managed her severe injuries, only Lin Feng could have stepped in and saved her. She was incredibly lucky to have a divine doctor like Lin Feng as a friend!
Just then, Ding Wan’er and Leng i ca out pushing Qian Duoduo.
"Lin Feng, what about Duoduo?" As soon as Ding Wan’er ca out, she asked Lin Feng. The surgery had just finished; a hospital room was needed. Otherwise, how could Duoduo recover?
"Duoduo doesn’t have a hospital room yet, what should we do?" Leng i also looked at Lin Feng upon erging, expressing concern about the lack of a hospital room because subsequent dication would be vital for recovery.
"I’ve arranged it. Just follow him to the ninth floor, and it will be fine. Now that things here are settled, I’ll feel at ease with you two looking after Qian Duoduo. I won’t be accompanying you downstairs. I plan to go check with that old ruffian to find out why exactly Qian Duoduo got into this ss."
With the hospital matters concluded and only rest remaining, Lin Feng saw no need to stick around and decided to leave to investigate with the old ruffian. Anomalies often signified trouble; today’s incident involving Qian Duoduo was likely orchestrated, and without uncovering the root cause, danger might recur.
But before Lin Feng could leave the building, his phone started ringing. Looking at the caller ID, he saw it was Qian Rong calling and quickly answered, eager to get in touch with Qian Rong only to see his call coming in.
"Lin Feng, how’s Duoduo doing?" Qian Rong had been on pins and needles for the past two hours, frequently calling in hopes that the call would go through, signifying Lin Feng’s surgery was successful, and his granddaughter Duoduo’s life was saved. Unexpectedly, two anxious hours passed before the call finally connected, and he promptly inquired about his granddaughter’s condition.
"She’s out of danger for now, nothing to worry about at the mont, and Wan’er and Leng i are with her. They don’t need . I was just about to head your way and check in," Lin Feng reassured Qian Rong, who was worried about Qian Duoduo, giving him an update on the situation.
"Don’t co back to the Great South Gang Headquarter. et at a tea house called Ancient Tea Horse Road, near the south gate of People’s Park. I’m here with the old scholar," Qian Rong said, relieved to hear Qian Duoduo was safe. He then urgently told Lin Feng to co to the tea house nad Ancient Tea Horse Road as soon as possible.
"Go there?" Lin Feng was montarily taken aback by Qian Rong’s words—why had they gone to the south gate of People’s Park—what were those two old n doing there instead of investigating Qian Duoduo’s injury?
"You’ll know when you get here. The sooner, the better!" Qian Rong said before hanging up, eager for Lin Feng to hurry to the tea house because he had encountered soone he never expected to see, and it was this person who had called to arrange for Qian Rong and Ding Yi to et there.
After hearing Qian Rong’s words, Lin Feng, too, wanted to know what was going on, so he quickly went downstairs, got into his car, and drove to the tea house Qian Rong had ntioned.
...
Half an hour later, Lin Feng arrived at the Ancient Tea Horse Road tea house indicated by Qian Rong. Upon entering, he saw Qian Rong not far away, waving at him to co over and sit. Lin Feng didn’t think much; he headed straight to Qian Rong’s table.
However, upon reaching Qian Rong and Ding Yi’s table, Lin Feng discovered another person there. He was surprised to find another person at the table concealed by a long hat— who was this?
"Old ruffian, weren’t you supposed to be investigating the bombing incident involving Qian Duoduo? Why are you lounging in a tea house?" Lin Feng asked Qian Rong as soon as he sat down, puzzled by his presence there. Although Duoduo’s life had been saved, the cause still needed to be determined. The thought of being targeted was incredibly unsettling.
"Lin Feng, see who it is!" Qian Rong pointed out the person wearing the long hat, who, upon hearing Qian Rong’s words, slowly removed the hat to reveal his true face.
"It’s you, Ji Yunlong? Weren’t you..." Lin Feng imdiately recognized the man as Ji Yunlong, whom he had t before at Old Place Bar. However, during the explosion at the bar, he hadn’t been able to look after anyone else and managed only to save Qian Duoduo and Mao Rongrong. How had Ji Yunlong managed to not die?
"I was lucky at that mont. As I was wondering why you had pushed the young lady into the room, a sofa lifted by the blast wave crashed down on . The sofa shielded from the flas, and I survived. When I woke up, I was surrounded by a sea of fire. Despite everything, I managed to rush into a nearby bathroom and survived in there. Later, after the fire died down, I didn’t go out imdiately. I thought to myself, now that I’m presud dead, why not beco invisible and get to the bottom of everything before revealing myself."
