The explanation of the security guard was very 'detailed'. He even went as far to describe the people who ca here yesterday, and he said all of them ca in luxurious super cars and not so shabby sedan worth just a thousand of Global Dollars.
The chief nodded his head vehently, finding the security guard's words, 'very reasonable'.
"You guys heard the man. Please don't make us more trouble and turn around imdiately," the chief, Gonzalo said after so thought.
He already had so guesses regarding the situation.
He guessed that the two of them should be paparazzies stalking a celebrity who lived inside the Sea Anemone District.
And in fact, this was not the first ti he dealt with sothing like this. Oftentis, when he let the paparazzies slip the entrance, he would always get scolded by the boss.
Paparazzies were very crafty people. They would even go as far as to rent luxurious cars just so they could enter the Sea Anemone District and stalk the celebrities they have their eyes on.
This ti, Gonzalo was not willing to take the risk by letting these two 'obvious' paparazzi slip by under his nose.
"I-I told you already, I bought a property inside just last night. You can check this docunt here to see the proof," Roland said with a trembling voice. It was as if he was caught in the act and was making a last stand to see his luck.
Seeing his reaction just made the security guard and Chief Gonzalo's speculation beco firr.
The security guard laughed while clutching his stomach.
"Look at him chief, do you think soone like that can own a property in this district? I'm even willing to bet my whole month of wage to you that he is just pretending, how about it?"
Gonzalo shook his head with an incredulous expression.
"Hell no! Do you think of as a fool?"
It was already obvious that he would lose if he accepted the bet, so why would he accept?
"Y-you guys really don't believe ?" Roland continued acting.
"Why would we even believe you? If you indeed have a property inside, I'll eat shit for you!"
The security guard was indeed arrogant and… fierce. He was even willing to eat shit just for a small matter like this.
"What? Bro, you're so ruthless, not even sparing a shit? Alright, alright, if you love eating shit that much then it looks like I need to do you a favor," Roland thought that the build-up was already enough he ought to end the matter already.
With that being said, Roland pulled out his Ay-phone and dialed a number that was included on the docunts that the System sent over last night.
Right after Roland pressed the dial button, a soft female voice was imdiately heard over the phone.
"Hello, who's this?"
"Hello, is this Agatha from the property managent of Sea Anemone District??"
"Yes, who's this?"
"Right, I'm Roland. I bought the Pure Dew Villa last night and I wanted to look at the property right now."
The phone went silent for a mont before Agatha spoke again, "Right. I checked the record and what you said was indeed right. Is there so sort of problem you're facing right now?"
"Well, it's like this. We are now on our way to my newly bought villa, but the two guards at the entrance won't let us in. I even told them I have the deeds and stuff, but they just won't believe ." Roland said.
"Sure, let deal with that for you, just wait for a mont."
With that, Agatha went silent again.
On the other hand, seeing that Roland seed to be talking to soone, the security guard and the chief, Gonzalo thought that he was still trying to fake it. Roland did not put the call on loudspeaker, so they did not hear the whole conversation just now.
Even Stacey was oblivious to the conversation just now. However, unlike yesterday, she no longer doubted Roland this ti. When he said that he bought a property in the Sea Anemone District, then he surely bought it for real.
"Chief, look at this dude still pretending. I really hate people like this. Why can't they just admit that they don't have the money? Why must they act like they own the world?" The security guard shook his head.
His opinion towards the gigolo just kept on decreasing as the ti went by. He was getting more and more disappointed towards the guy.
Chief Gonzalo nodded his head in affirmation to what the security guard stated. In his opinion, this kind of person who kept on pretending even though they were already caught red-handed was the worst of all kinds of paparazzies he encountered.
"Well, there are all kinds of people in this world. We-"
Buzz* Buzz*
Chief Gonzalo's speech was suddenly cut off as he suddenly felt a buzzing noise from his side pocket. It was the work phone provided by the security company they work with.
Knowing that it was an important call, Chief Gonzalo did not bother about the security guard anymore as he pulled it out and answered the phone directly.
"Yes, boss?" Chief Gonzalo answered with a respectful tone.
However, the next mont. Chief Gonzalo visibly flinched as an angry voice was heard over the phone.
"Are you guys holding soone in the entrance right now?!"
If not for the fact that Chief Gonzalo also did not put the call on loudspeaker, his ear would have busted out from the other party's voice alone.
Chief Gonzalo shivered in fright as he answered, "Y-yes! B-boss, how did you-"
However, Chief Gonzalo's words were cut-off again.
"Are you freaking mad? That's the new owner of the most expensive villa in the Sea Anemone District, how dare you hold them up at the entrance? Don't you freaking love your job anymore? If so, you should have just told directly. There was no need to implicate my business as well, do you freaking understand?"
The 'boss' was truly angry this ti. Chief Gonzalo could even imagine the face that the boss was making right now as well as the saliva's that might have been spewing out of his mouth due to his anger.
