Chapter 1797: Chapter 1792: Vulgophobia (5)

Lying on a dusty ground, with the head covered and face unseen, this is a real corpse.

As soone with bloody hands, even if he regressed to an ordinary person, Fu Qian could easily discern this.

The ti of death was short; the body was still pliable.

Even though the prone position hid the face, the jacket covered the body in such a way that the mouth and nose were cleverly left with space to breathe, as if it was deliberately arranged.

It looked so much like the first possibility: everything was just a prank aid at a middle school syndro.

Except that the person wasn’t alive.

So the question arises, how did the person die?

To this, Butters told a story: the party atmosphere was too good, he drank too much, had a conflict, and the other party’s bad luck caused them to hit their head and die suddenly.

A sowhat reasonable progression, with the jacket and bloodstains beneath the corpse helping to imagine this scenario—until they were proven fake.

And after that, they were clearly too superfluous.

What if Butters was telling the truth, and this really wasn’t a prank, but an accidental death covered up with extra embellishnts to call him for help?

Since the person is dead, might as well make use of it, using fake blood to fool himself and suit the party the?

This is hardly sothing that can be sumd up as a simple jest, but more like a hellish joke.

With thoughts racing, still no sound from above, Fu Qian silently switched the lighting equipnt to another hand and then lifted the jacket covering the corpse’s head.

The “blood” was dripping but there were no wounds.

Under the jacket was also a young face, with brown curls puffed up, the features seed small compared to the physique, but it indeed seed a fitting face for such a party.

And for Fu Qian, it was easy to determine that beneath that head full of “blood,” there were no open wounds.

The probability that the conflict theory was true beca much smaller.

And if Butters was lying, and the conflict never happened, then these fabricated traces wouldn’t be unexplained.

For instance, this could really have been a prank, except he wasn’t aware the actor below was truly dead.

This happened between the person lying here and him being invited over.

Although this way, the cause of death could undoubtedly encompass many possibilities.

Heart attack? Poisoning?

Or even the influence of extraordinary power?

And was Butters just used while he was foolishly laughing?

Anyway, not considering why a group of young people would be involved with such a case, there’s an even more pertinent question: why call him here?

Couldn’t really be hoping to rely on the legendary calm wisdom of “Mr. Wolf” to help deal with the aftermath—um?

While thinking in silence, Fu Qian realized that he could no longer see the corpse’s face, and the light in the darkness was no longer in his hand but was rapidly approaching from afar.

Even his body seed to be moving.

“Haven’t we arrived yet?”

Almost instantly, the glaring light was right in front of him, and at the sa ti, a voice abruptly sounded from behind.

Not in a hurry to turn around, partly because eyesight takes ti to recover after the strong light stimulation, and partly because Fu Qian moved a bit, feeling the unyielding seat beneath him.

That’s right, it was that car from earlier.

In a bizarre yet smooth transition, he found himself having left that basent and sitting in the passenger seat of a moving car.

[Containnt condition t, complete the entire All Fools’ Day script correctly]

Just as he grasped this conclusion, another familiar voice almost simultaneously appeared in his mind.

Interesting, this All Fools’ Day is indeed not simple.

As things were progressing to a weird point, there was an abrupt scene transition.

And the subsequent containnt condition was quite special.

Complete the entire script?

The first reaction to this condition is that this is likely not the first ti, and there might be more smooth transitions to co.

And what does it an to complete correctly?

Find key props to facilitate transition? Or perform certain correct actions within the script?

“We’re almost there. Can’t you be quiet for a while?”

Just as Fu Qian analyzed the situation, responding to the inquiry from behind, a voice from the driver’s seat responded stiffly, sounding impatient yet nervous.

Besides this interesting emotion, the voice also had the distinct feature — Butters.

Indeed, as his vision gradually recovered, Fu Qian could clearly see the golden hair beside him for confirmation.

Compared to the party, his appearance was noticeably more low-key, wearing a grey jacket, with piercing eyes.

However, his focus seed more inclined towards the roadside rather than the road ahead.

Although it’s also at night, it might not be the sa night.

Still wearing the brown leather strap watch on his wrist, Fu Qian inconspicuously observed, and the ti was past seven in the evening.

Though unsure when the party started, being outside at this hour doesn’t seem like enough ti to go back, change clothes, and get drunk.

Moreover, the weather looked much better, not a hint of snow, and half a moon was clearly visible.

“Quiet? It was you who said it wasn’t far, and Wolf and I agreed to run out at night.”

Butters’s statent clearly made the person behind very displeased.

As the voice grew more intense, a head popped out from between the seats.

Pointy at the top and narrow at the bottom, with hair cut extrely short, braving the near snowing weather without a hat, along with two stubborn eyebrows, almost writing the word ‘Fierce Man’ on the face.

Except now, Fierce Man was clearly unhappy with going for a night drive and didn’t hesitate to ntion Wolf.

“Wolf doesn’t nag incessantly like you.”

Unfortunately, it seed their relationship was quite familiar, as Butters rebutted with a reference to Mr. Wolf without any hesitation.

Glancing over here, Fierce Man looked sowhat speechless, further proving that Mr. Wolf had indeed remained calm and wise all the way.

And to cooperate with this move, Fu Qian continued to stay silent and maintained his position, pulling at Fierce Man’s coat the next mont, glancing outside.

Screech—

The car didn’t continue turning with the main road but directly descended a path, stopping in front of a pitch-black building.

And with Fu Qian’s help, the non-seatbelt-wearing Fierce Man didn’t end up hitting his head during the bumps.

“We’re here, it’s that room.”

Coming back to his senses, Fierce Man gave the driver’s seat a hard slap, but before he could continue, Butters indicated with his chin towards a corner of the building.
