Clover Town—site of the Guild Masters' Alliance's routine eting.
Fairy Tail, a guild notorious for stirring up trouble, never lacks for conversation fodder; consequently, its Master, Makarov, invariably finds himself at the very center of the discussion.
Blue Pegasus, Quatro Cerberus, and Fairy Tail—the Masters of these guilds, who have been close friends since their youth—
were currently huddled together, swapping gossip about none other than Fairy Tail itself.
"Makarov, the Wizards in your guild are always so full of boundless energy! It really is wonderful, isn't it?"
The master of Blue Pegasus, Bob, was wearing a magenta tank top with wings, had bright blush on his face, and wore heart-shaped lipstick in the sa shade. He was a bald, obese, cross-dressing middle-aged man.
"I heard, you know, they beat up so powerful person sowhere until they were looking for their teeth on the floor."
When Ron first t Bob, he was truly shocked by him.
It was hard to imagine what the years had done to him to turn a handso young man into what he was now.
"Oh, you an our guild's newcor, Lucy, right? She's quite sothing!!!"
A slightly tipsy Makarov suddenly took on a mischievous look.
"Especially there, bouncing all over the place..."
"Eek~ You pervert—"
Bob instantly covered his face shyly, turned his head, and squealed with a flirtatious pout while pressing his legs together.
"Is this the ti for laughing, Makarov?"
Said Goldman, the master of the Quatro Cerberus guild, who wore a triangular hat.
"Being lively is a good thing, but no matter how you look at it, your lot goes too far."
"Now even the Council seems to have people worried that one day, your Fairy Tail might destroy an entire town."
"Hahahaha, I'd love to be destroyed, by Lucy's..."
Makarov laughed heartily, holding up his glass with an air of complete indifference.
"Honestly, you can't make a move on your own Wizards..."
"Master Makarov, Master Makarov..."
A small blue bird wearing a hat flew over, clutching a letter and shouting.
"This is a letter sent by Miss Mirajane..."
"Alright, thanks for your hard work."
Though wondering why a letter would arrive at this ti, Makarov took it.
As his finger traced the wax seal, a magic circle suddenly appeared on the letter, and a holographic image of Mirajane erged.
"Master, thank you for your hard work at the regular eting..."
Mirajane first greeted him with a gentle smile.
"How about that!!! How about that!!!"
Makarov showed off proudly to his friends around him.
"This is our poster girl!!! Isn't she beautiful!!!"
After the routine greetings, the phantom Mirajane spoke about the main content of the letter.
"While you were away, Master, sothing wonderful happened. Erza, Ron, Natsu, and Gray have ford a team!"
?!!!
Since it was just a letter, Mirajane naturally couldn't see Makarov's expression at that mont, so she continued talking with a smile.
"I think this must be the strongest team in Fairy Tail, so I thought I should at least report it to you, which is why I wrote this letter."
The letter was not long, and the content was very simple.
It just reported the formation of a team by several troublemakers in the guild.
But as Makarov listened, he felt more and more terrified, cold sweat pouring down. He felt as if the sky was falling, and even after the ssage ended, he hadn't regained his senses.
"Wh... what..."
With a "thud," Makarov collapsed backward onto the table, feeling like his heart was about to explode.
"Oh my, it looks like what the Council was worried about might actually beco a reality."
Goldman had a look of schadenfreude on his face.
"How could this happen? This is really getting out of hand..."
"At this rate, they might actually destroy an entire town..."
In his despair, Makarov thought of a glimr of hope.
"No, Ron is with them. It should be fine..."
"Like hell it will!!!"
Thinking of the Bloody Thorn base destroyed by Ron, the hope that had risen in his heart was completely extinguished, and his mood turned dark and gloomy once more.
"It's over!!!"
"The regular eting ends today, and I can go back tomorrow..."
"Before then, please let nothing... absolutely nothing happen!!!"
"I'm begging you!!!"
...Whether Ron felt Makarov's wailing or not is unknown, but the train he was on was already approaching Kunugi Station.
At this mont, all the Wizards of Eisenwald had occupied Kunugi Station.
Everything was ready; all that was missing was the final piece!
They were just waiting for Kagayama to bring Lullaby, then they could hijack that train and head straight to Clover Town for their revenge and assassination mission.
Just as the train pulled into the station, there was a violent jolt and the sound of screeching friction.
"What's going on?!" Lucy cried out.
Happy flew to the window and was stunned by what he saw. "There are so many people surrounding us outside!"
"Is it the Eisenwald people?"
"This train now belongs to Eisenwald. Everyone, get off quietly."
Erigor's arrogant voice clearly reached them, providing an imdiate answer.
"Kill anyone who dares to resist!"
"Let's go!"
Hearing the approaching footsteps and laughter, Erza's expression sharpened, and she stood up first.
Ron casually tucked the flute into his extra dinsion, then shouldered the motion-sick Natsu and followed.
Following behind were Gray, Lucy, and Happy.
Click!
The carriage door was roughly thrown open by several Eisenwald mbers with hideous smiles, but the mont they opened it, before they could speak, their vision blurred.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
They felt a massive force strike them, and their bodies flew backward uncontrollably, crashing heavily to the ground. They groaned in pain as their weapons fell from their hands.
The commotion at the carriage imdiately caught Erigor's attention, and he led his n over.
He scanned the uninvited guests who had suddenly appeared with an unfriendly gaze.
When he clearly saw the prominent guild marks on Ron and the others, his narrow eyes squinted slightly, carrying a hint of murderous intent and disdain.
"I was wondering who would dare to act against Eisenwald... so it's the flies from Fairy Tail..."
"Are you Erigor?"
Erza looked at the man with short silver-white hair and a lean build, questioning him sharply.
"You actually want to use Lullaby against the Masters... unforgivable!!!"
"Hmph, those old geezers dared to strip us of our work and rights."
"Then they should face the Shinigami's revenge and purge!"
Though Erigor's words were harsh, his eyes kept darting left and right, his heart heavy.
'Damn Kagayama, didn't he say it was this train?'
'And how did Fairy Tail know about my assassination plan? Could it be... Kagayama betrayed ?'
"What are you looking for, Erigor?"
Ron noticed his movents and teased with a smile, "You wouldn't be looking for... Kagayama, would you?"
"He was caught before you. People like you, who bring trouble upon yourselves, prison is more suitable."
"Hey, Natsu, you feeling better yet..."
"We're about to start a fight."
